Name: Adina Sigi Player: lvl880 Gender: Female Age: 23 Magic?: No Appearance: Adina is a girl that is uncommonly tall at 5'10. Her brown hair reaches to her lower back, which she keeps tied up in a braid, and then spun into a bun whenever training. Whenever she isn't on guard duty she is seen wearing work pants and a loose cotton shirt, over a white undershirt. Freckles pepper her olive colored skin, and brown eyes are always seeming to be drifing off somewhere. She isn't stick thin, curves are visible even in her clothing and armor, but do not underestimate her. Personality: Even though her height is intimidating Adina is actually a very sweet girl. She is actually quite innocent also when it comes to men, and women do in Feretis alone with each other. She knows the whole baby-making process but she has yet to ask for pleasure from a man, and she'd rather not ever do that. Adina will listen to anyone's problems if they want to speak to her, and she'll also speak out for others. But she has a tough time speaking out for herself, usually being pressured into doing things that she doesn't want to do. Adina also talks to herself often when she is alone, along with physically straining herself whenever she is troubled. She has hurt herself before because of problems in the past because she doesn't let her feelings out. History: Adina was not born to a rich family but she was given a decent education as a child. Though because of her height, and her yeilding demeanor she was usually picked on. In the end her mother thought that putting her in defense courses would be a deterent for her to be bullied... It did, it also gave her a feeling that she could protect which gave her the idea of becoming a guard. She now works at the Eldic Estates, protecting those that travel there to relax, and also the slaves of Feratis. Or so she thinks...

Name: Drea Sevarez Player: Disgruntled Peony Gender: Female Age: 37 Magic?: None Appearance: Drea is of average height and weight, with olive skin that has begun to sag from age. She is obsessed with her appearance. As such her hair has been dyed dark brown (although the gray roots show at the base of her hairline), and she wears so much makeup that her face appears to be painted on. She dresses in the finest clothing that money can buy. She also has a voice that's as pleasant to listen to as fingers scraping across a chalkboard. Personality: Drea is a snobbish, nosy control freak who is obsessed with preserving her youth through any means necessary. She takes great pleasure in giving orders and expressing her displeasure to anyone who refuses to follow them. If she does not get her way in the end, however, her enjoyment gives way to anger and tantrums are liable to ensue. History: Drea is the head supervisor of the mail service at the Aqil Compound. Her desires for power and control are equaled only by her desire to have a child, but (unbeknownst to her) she is infertile. She has spent many years attempting to bear children, and her inability to do so is a source of great frustration to her. As such, she has brought her personal slave along with her on a vacation to Eldis Estates, where she is spending a great deal of time with the pleasure slaves.

Name: Field Sergeant First Class Aemelia Karenth Player: Zelyhon Gender: Female Age: 35 Magic?: Aemelia’s magic derives from her plains heritage. She can, from almost any confined space, create a portal to a demi-plane under her control. This is useful for storing many things beyond what normal pockets could hold, as the plane is very large. In order to access it, she simply needs to reach into a confined, concealed place and pull out what she needs. As long as nobody can see into what she reaches into, it can access her plane. There are a few restrictions on what the plane can store. First and most importantly, no living beings may enter the plane. She can’t use it as a trap or a weapon in that way. Second, though depth is not a problem, she cannot pull anything from the plane which is larger than the opening it must go through to get into the real world. For those, she needs to find a bigger portal space. Appearance: Long black hair bound into a braid reaches down to her upper legs. She takes very good care of her hair and appearance. Her skin is slightly darker than most normal Feretrians. This is as a result of her plainsman ancestor. Her eyes are bright blue, which strikes a sharp contrast with her darker skin and hair. She normally wears fairly nice clothing, designed to be functional should she need to fight as well as look nice. The one defining feature about all of her clothes is that they have many, many pockets and usually long, wide sleeves which can be used to activate her portals on a moment’s notice. She also wears her dress uniform for formal occasions. She carries no obvious weapons, but within her plane, she has a virtual armory stored, and she is educated in the use of many of them. Personality: Calculating would be the best way to describe Aemelia. She’s a commander and she acts like it. She’s always working on what the best course of action for her and her team would be. To say she is calculating isn’t to say she’s uncaring. Quite the opposite, as she looks after “her girls” carefully, as if they were her daughters. Men, she cares little about. They are slaves that have their uses. Nothing more History:Aemelia was born in the capital city. Her mother was a minor functionary at the Queen’s court. Aemelia spent much of her youth in the royal palaces, observing the day to day life of those in the high positions. During this time, she caught the eye of a few prominent politicians who would keep an eye on her career for years to come. Once her magic manifested, those around her began encouraging her to take a position within the armed forces. She decided that would be an excellent idea and joined the normal army immediately. It didn’t take long for those who noticed her to find a better use for her. She was plucked from the army and deposited within the ranks of Feretris’ Black Ops. She has continued to serve there with diligence, carrying out orders. Only recently has she risen to the rank where she could give orders herself. Recently, she and several other members of the Black Ops squadron were sent to keep an eye on the situations with the growing number of raids. Aemelia was not the senior officer on this mission. Once they had almost reached their destination, they received word of another situation requiring the investigation and talents of the members. A dragon, long thought to be a myth, had appeared in a nearby compound. This had, understandably, caused a bit of concern and panic in the area. Combine that with the growing problem of slave violence and escape with the rumored underground movement and something needed to be done. The CO dispatched Aemelia and a small team to set up a command center in the compound and see if there was any substance to those rumors and, if there was, to deal with it appropriately.

Name: Private First Class Merideth Anos Player: Zelyhon Gender: Female Age: 19 Magic?: Most female magic of Feretris works by empathically altering the signals of the body to convince the target that something that isn’t true is. These signals can be muddled and manipulated in a variety of ways by this typical magic. Merideth’s is slightly different. She doesn’t alter the signals, she blocks them. Her magic allows her to stop certain signals from reaching the brain. She can’t go to the length others can with affecting emotion, but she can cut vision, hearing, touch, pain, and many other signals that have stimuli going from a part of the body into the brain. She can use this on herself or others as appropriate. Appearance: Merideth has shoulder length bright red hair. She has brown eyes and stands only about 5’3”. Her face usually shows little emotion and her eyes almost seem to look through a person. She wears some form of army uniform at almost all times, whether it is her Class A dress uniform or just military standard camo shirt and pants. Beneath her clothes is something very few people see. Her body is covered in scars of various shapes and sizes. Since she can cut off her own pain, she tends to fight rather recklessly and her skin shows the result of this. She always wears a belt with two larger fighting knives and an assortment of throwing knives and other ranged attack implements. Personality: Merideth is, in a word, detached. This isn’t to say she’s unfeeling, just that she maintains a bit of healthy separation between herself and the world around her. She cares more deeply for her teammates than they might know or than she shows. She doesn’t have a whole lot of concern for the plight of the men in the empire, but neither does she care enough to have an opinion on what their rights ought to be. In the end, she is a servant of the system and works to uphold it as such. History: Merideth’s background isn’t fully known. It is known that she came from one of the Western compounds. It is known also that her mother gave her away for adoption quickly, which means that her birth was probably not sanctioned. She grew up in an orphanage with several other abandoned children. Most of them never developed magic and went on to menial careers that would take them to lives of mediocrity. Merideth was one of the lucky ones who developed not only magic, but a rare, useful form at that. The orphanage alerted the black ops squadron once they learned of her magic. Most orphanages in Feretris have contacts with the military to some extent, so that promising children may be taken and put to use. Merideth was inducted into the Black Ops group and began training shortly thereafter. She is currently the youngest member in the whole program. Name: Sae Illsin Player: Zelyhon Gender: Female Age: 24 Magic?: Sae’s magic continues to confound magical theorists. Though theoretically connected to the emotional control magic of Feretris’ women, its resemblances are far fewer than its differences. Sae may breathe in deeply and, when she exhales, expel a large cloud of colored gas. This gas then coalesces into a being. Magical theorists cannot tell whether or not this is Sae projecting monsters of her mind into the real world, an expulsion of raw feeling in solid form, or something else unknown. What is known is that the beings are not simply anything she imagines. She has a certain number of them that may be sent out or called back, but she can’t suddenly make more. Each of them is names after a personality trait that they seem to identify with. For example, Duty, Valor, Fury, Carelessness, and Hope. Appearance: Sae is a fairly short woman, standing barely five feet tall. She is thin and not terribly well muscled. In other words, she doesn’t look anything like what you’d imagine a military operative to look like. She has short blond hair which is kept neatly tied back in a small ponytail. She wears a pair of reading glasses almost constantly. She can see without them, but prefers to have them on. Her clothing, when not in uniform, tends towards long dresses. She can move about freely in them, but she doesn’t have as much mobility as her partners. Her skin shows no signs of having anyone in her ancestry from anywhere but Feretris. Personality: Light and airy. Sae’s a nice girl. She tries to be nice to everyone, even men. She doesn’t agree that they ought to be given status, but she treats them well. She doesn’t have an attitude that seems to favor the sort of missions Black Ops must do. She is completely devoted to all of her allies, including those who are their own entities and those who are tied to her. History: Sae grew up in a wealthy family. She had anything she could ever want. Expensive meals, plenty of servants, and a manor the size of some small villages. The one thing she really didn’t have were people she could relate to. Her parents would not let her interact with the other children of the compound. So she grew up rather lonely until her magic manifested at the age of five. With her magic, she had as many friends as she wanted. Her typical group of friends consisted of Duty, Devotion, Security, and Joy. These beings do have their own individual minds, so it was like having friends. This was the happiest time of her life. The friends of hers grew as she did. When she turned 21, however, she had a revelation. She realized that something needed to be done to help the world rather than simply sitting in her mansion sipping expensive wine. Thus, she announced her intention to join the black ops, despite her parents’ vehement disapproval. She had enough money and prestige in her name to get in without difficulty. Training was a little harder for her. She failed almost every test and was on the verge of being kicked out until she used her allies to help her along. This unique ability allowed her in with no further testing. As such, she herself is not in the same shape or strength bracket ad the other members, but her magic more than makes up the difference. Name: Prothel Darkwrithe Player: Dark_samurai_2007 Gender: Male Age: 31 Magic?:Speed and Fire. Also has some healing abilities Appearance: Skin: fair Hair color/style: Blond/short Eyes: green Donned in red robes, with a staff in his right hand. and a scar along his face. Personality: Prothel keeps to himself, though he will open up to those that he learns to trust. He isn't very talkative, preferring to speak with the tapestry that is his magic. History: Born an Unsanctioned feretris male, Prothel was saved by Radicals from the Free Birth Faction before castration. In order to save him from his fate, the radicals took him to the nomadic lands to live a "normal" life. The Anjts saw something very special in Prothel, and began to teach him their magic. He showed an amazing prowess in magic, so they sent him off to learn more. In his travels, he came across an old Hælt, who helped him better himself in his magic. Soon, Prothel returned to the Anjts. On his 25th birthday, the Anjts explained to Prothel his history, and how he wasn't an Anjt. Prothel was stunned, and suddenly felt like he didn't belong. He was told about the ways of the feretris, though, and understood why he was saved. After a year of wandering, Prothel decided that he must travel to Feretris and do anything he can to help improve the society. When he arrived at Feretris, he was met by a woman, who decided she wanted him. When Prothel refused, she attacked him, slicing his cheek. Much to the young woman's chagrin, Prothel managed to surprise her with his magic, and escaped. He now is hiding with Free Birth Radicals in Eldic Estates, waiting for something to happen.

Name: Alexiel Pantif Player: amaranthine_misery Gender: Female Age: 20-21 Magic: Dragon bonded: Chromatic White, with tendancy towards submission types of magic. Dragon's Name: Lexore (The Harmless one). Appearance: Skin: Fair to Pale. Hair: Very light Blonde. Eyes: Piercing Baby Blue. She has several tribal tatoos including but not limited to: Traditional Wings (across shoulder blades), various designs that mark her place in Anjts society, as well as those that discribe her family heritage. In addition to her tattoos she also has several piercings. Personality: Seeming to have two different personalities at times, she ranges from Mania to Depression in short weekly to bi-weekly cycles. Other then the obvious insanities, she is a very strong female, acting more dominate that other females in her tribe. She has a strong sence of initiative for physical based actions. Hot tempered, she jumps to conculsions often and tends to hold strong grudges. In the same respect, she can also be very calm, apathetic, and sullen while she is experiencing the depths of depression. History: A a young age Alexiel's mother had noticed that she had a pattern for violent out bursts followed by periods of dispondancy. At times she seemed very pleasant, and at others extemely wild, but her mother had faith in her, and tried to hide this from outside forces. However, she was unable to maintain her daughter due to the families economic situation, therefore she was forced to abandon her at the young age of three. Taking her out into the wilderness far south, her mother had hoped she could live a life outside of political extremes and perhaps her problems could be address affectively. Thus, she was adopted by a young woman from the Anjts tribe, who was unable to bare her own children, and she was rasied as her own. Neither of which was aware of the girl's Dragon bond. At the age of five she began to balance out and seem some what normal, however, unfortunately, she then experienced a mental exchange with her other half, Lexore, at the age of six. Which in turn caused her apparent disorder to only worsen. She attempted to explain the experience to her Anjts mother. Then when her adopted mother attempted to reason with her about her experience, explaining that such an event was impossible, it only fueled her hatred towards the event, causing a downward spiral within her already barely manageable disorder.

Name: Kayu Player: Yanagi Yoko Gender: Female Age: 17 Magic: She can create a protective barrier large enough to protect one person at a time, but she practices to strengthen this power. Appearance: Kayu has dirty blonde hair that has grown just past her shoulders. She has light blue eyes, and black oval glasses. Her skin is rough and slightly tanned, thanks to her many months of traveling. She has an average build, but is still a little on the thin side. She is 5'7, and weighs about 127 lbs. She prefers wearing comfortable traveling clothes, but nothing revealing. Her favorite accessories are a ring that has always been in her possession, a black hat that is perfect for blocking the sun and rain from her eyes, and her pair of steel-toed shoes. Personality: Generous, respectful, and trustworthy. Kayu is always willing to help someone in need, and is very protective of the ones she cares for. She is extremely empathetic, but rarely expresses her own true feelings and thoughts. She hates hurting peoples' feelings, and does her best to avoid confrontation. However, this doesn't mean she won't stand up for herself if she needs to. She is not a seasoned fighter, but she knows how to protect herself and others. Kayu is very cautious, but at the same time she is gullible. One of Kayu's few desires in life is for all people to live in happiness. She does not agree with slavery and believes that Feretris rules its subjects unfairly. However, she would not readily take action against Feretris. Her current hobby is studying the forests and learning to make proper shelters with the Kiyap Turea. History: Unbeknown to Kayu, she suffers from dissociative fugue. She woke up with no memory of her identity, and she has a tendency to wander the world with no particular plan in mind. Everywhere she goes she makes friends, gets to know the area, and continues on her way. She has never been to Feretris, and has only heard rumors about it. For the past month or so she has been resting with the Kiyap Turea. She has been on good terms with all of the Kiyap Turea classes, but she doesn't plan on staying with them for too much longer. Although it is still a mystery to Kayu, she was born in a Demere tribe. She was the daughter of the tribe's leaders, but Kayu ran when faced with a decision she did not want to make. Kayu has two sisters, and a mother and father who do not see eye-to-eye.

Name: Tesunie KatarenPlayer: Tesunie Gender: Male Age: 14 Magic?: Healing Appearance: A young boy born of the Feretris lands. He has blond hair and blue eyes. He is short but agile. Though of Feretris decent, he has the ability to use magic for healing. Personality: Tesunie is considered overly kind and nice by most that know him. He is willing to help anyone that he thinks is in need, even if it ends up hurting himself. History: Born of Feretris decent, he was suppose to be taken and sold, but his mother couldn't bare to see him go. She ended up escaping from the birthing building, carrying her new born child. In her attempt to leave the city, she found the father of the child. The two, though he was a slave, was in true love with each other, and tried to leave together. They got caught while trying to escape the city. His father was taken back into slavery, and his mother was covicted for theivery. Tesunie, lost in the system was bought back into his own family, where they took care of him and sheltered him untill the age of 14. (He didn't get the training most slaves got. He had more of a normal chold hood, though very sucluded. If you hadn't noticed, his family are the ones more for free love.)

Name: Nathien Player: Nathien Bloodguard Gender: Male Age: 21 Magic?: he has a strong gift with his Speed magic, and his Speak with animals is fairly good, however he has a hard time understanding what they are sometimes saying, due to the big difference between the working of a human mind and an animals mind. This could also lead to misunderstanding and miscommuncation (Demere as home) Appearance: He is a tall thin person with long red oxide hair. His face is long and narrow, and sports a (goatee?). He wears simple cloths that are worn and look like they've seen a lot. He is a hunter/warrior and would make an excellent scout.... (Will draw pic later) Personality: He is normally a pretty easy going guy. He is patient and will wait for his foe/prey to fall for his traps. He can sometimes be rough and rude but he usually has a reason for it. He also does not like cities and hates most authority. He is a nomad in all sense of the word. He lives on his own, however he does occasionally help lost travelers. History: Due to the fact that he is never in the same place twice, or so it would seem, he was unaware of his fellow kinsmen involvement in the uncoming war. He has been unable to contact because he was on a hunting trip. He is well known for being one of the best hunters in the region, and he is also known for not using a bow. Pet: Wolf

Name: NejPlayer: Little_Phantom Gender: Male Age: 17 Magic?: Dragon bonded to a Bronze dragon by the name of Nonriavi. Thus, any magic he manifests usually has to do with enchantment or creation of items. Appearance: Nej is reasonably tall, about six feet, but he has a lankiness about himself that gives him the image that he hasn't quite grown into his height yet. This image is also helped by his seemingly perpetual clumsiness that probably spawns from the length of his legs and the relative largeness of his feet. He has dirty blond hair that is a bit strawy and hard to manage, so he pulls it back into a short ponytail of sorts with string. This is also so he can work with out it getting too far into his face. His skin is a lighter olive color than is typical for someone from Feretris and is dirtied slightly by the light speckles of freckles on his checks and his nose, which is rather prominent. His eyes are a shade watery azure, which, apart from his nose, is probably the most obvious thing about himself, considering the relative plainness of the rest of himself. He also has very poor hearing (as a side affect of being his ears being boxed so often as a child) and will flinch when ever anyone (be it man or woman) raises a hand against him. He is also averse to being touched on the side of the head. As far as dress goes, being a slave he dresses very modest, in reasonably cleaner clothes (considering he is usually occupied as a personal servant, only occasionally called to work as a skilled laborer as he is decently good with his hands). He also has a small wooden necklace: a (self) carved figurine of what just maybe is supposed to be a dragon, but looks like a dog with wings and horns as Nej had only seen Nonriavi once when he carved it, it is strung with twine through a hole in the figurine's head. This figurine (as mentioned in History) was requested ("carve me anything") by his mistress at the old compound he lived in. She found it "scary" and instead insisted he keep it and turn it into a necklace or some such. Nonriavi: Nonriavi probably looks bigger than he actually is, do to his prominent muscles and large wings. His fish-like frill (that runs down his neck all the way down to his tail) probably doesn't help the fact much either. His scales, of course, are bronze, tainted only slightly with sickening green, the same color as his eyes. Nonriavi has two large horns that curl only slightly back around towards his head. Personality: As a child Nej was often boxed for being to bold when speaking to women or being to curious, which has resulted in him being very careful when he speaks and when he makes an action. He'll often pause before he speaks, to think things through and consider the consequences of what he might be saying. Even in the middle of sentences he'll stop abruptly for up to a half a minute at time to rethink or rephrase what he is saying. He is also prone to being profusely apologetic whenever he does make a mistake. Even if it isn't his fault, he'll apologize and bow deeply and abundantly. He is also very humble and doesn't think it his place to ask for much, if anything at all. Apart from that, Nej's mind tends to run wild. He was punished for being bold and curious, so he keeps silent, but it doesn't keep his mind from asking questions or in general being active. The only time he is able to exercise that pent up thought is when he is working. Seeing as he is good with his hands, he often was asked to carve or craft or create and through this was able to keep himself thinking and his mind from rotting. Otherwise, he keeps intensely silent on his thoughts. He only speaks when spoken to, and usually very to the point and only providing the asked for information. Upon being able to converse with Nonriavi, Nej has learned to be more open, but only with the dragon and in his dreamscape. It has also allowed him to relieve some of his over active mind, being able to talk with someone who pretty much knows what he's going to say anyways. History: The old lady who ran the compound (Edace) had only one daughter, a middle aged woman by the name of Uruma. Uruma herself had one daughter, Milelin, who was only five years older than Nej himself. Uruma and Edace had not gotten along for years since before Nej arrived at their compound. As it had happened, Uruma had been caught trying to steal a good deal of money from Edace, but had been caught red handed by Edace herself. The elderly woman had turned to doting on her granddaughter and bestowing all her energy on the girl. As far as Nej went, the boy was trained into the position of primarily a general personal servant, running about, making beds, listen to Uruma talk about her day before bed, etc. etc. From time to time he was asked to help the older servants (being very young at the time he was not quite able or skilled enough to do them by himself) in various projects. He would knit, work wood, and other some such things. Uruma and Edace were both very strict mistresses, and neither were reluctant to punish Nej or the other slaves for acting in a way they found disrespectful. Milelin took a fancy to Nej as he grew older and eventually requested to her grandmother that he worked as her, and only her, personal servant. Edace granted this request; Nej was twelve. Milelin often requested that he carve her things from wood, as she rather liked his handiwork, and began to keep a collection of the ones she liked best at her bedside. At age fifteen, Nej had his first dream encounter with Nonriavi. The dragon, a great deal larger than Nej and enormous with his muscled build and the frozen breath emanating from his nostrils (because, for some reason, wherever they were in this dream, it was cold and white, despite Nej not being cold in the least), intimidated the poor slave a great deal. Nej fell straight back onto his back covering his eyes. "Whatever you are, beast or spirit or demon, I did not mean to trespass on your territory or insult you any way. I apologize! Oh, I am sorry! And then he woke up, in a dead sweat. It was the next day that Milelin requested that he carve something for her: anything. Nej, still fascinated by the creature he saw in his dreams, carved a small figurine (about the height of 2/3 of his pinkie) of the creature. It was a crude representation, really, more like a horned dog with wings and claws. It actually didn't look that much like a dragon at all. Milelin smiled when he finished it and gave it over to her. "It's such a strange thing. Fantastic, really," she said. She ran her fingers over it and around its wings. After a pause, during which Nej waited patiently, she spoke again. "But it's too scary. He looks so mad." She pressed the figurine back into his hand. "You keep it. Turn it into a necklace, it's small enough for that." Nej did, carving a small hole through the figurine's head and strung it with twine. He still wears this necklace to date underneath his shirt. Edace died of old age when Nej was sixteen. Her will explicitly stated that everything (compound, slaves, etc.) was to be handed over to her granddaughter Milelin not her own daughter. Uruma, who had been expecting to inherit the compound, was furious and often struck out against her daughter. Or, more often, she hit Nej, who stood (as was his duty) between her and Milelin. It wasn't even a month before Uruma found a way to strike a blow to her daughter that couldn't be blocked. As Nej (who Uruma knew for quite sometime was Milelin's favorite) had not been bought by Edace, but rather by her and thus was not inherited by Milelin, Uruma had the power to do as she wished with him. In other words, she could sell him. Far, far away. And that's what she did. At the first opportunity, Uruma sold Nej to Eldic Estates. This is where he is now, and has been for almost a year and a half.

Magic?: He has magic, but he can barely use it. It stems from a bizzare variation on the dragon bond: he is linked to a malevolent spirit from the Anjt's folkloric past through a stone embedded in the back of his neck. The stone acts as a floodgate, keeping the spirit from effecting Gale's body most of the time. This spirit is less than friendly, and has a tendancy to kill everyone it sees. It is also in full mastery of its magic. It can redirect, reflect, and otherwise affect other people's magic. This works best with projectile spells such as giant screaming fireballs, and is least effective on internal magic, such as healing or telepathy. Gale can do this a little bit on his own, but it usually results in the spirit being let loose anyway, so the point is moot.
Appearance: Gale is virtually colorless. Though he does not actually have albinism, it is often assumed that he does. His pale face is framed by nearly-white blond hair, and his blue irises are so pale that his eyes seem to consist of a large white area and a pupil. The effect is disconcerting, to say the least. His features are thin and angular, with a pinched, hungry look about them. He usually wears a red cloak with a high collar that fully hides his neck from view. He is on the tall side, but carries himself in a huddled, slouching way that makes him seem much shorter.
Personality: Gale has a naturally kind disposition, and is very quiet and subdued. He enjoys the company of people, though this rarely happens. He is an outcast among the Anjts, due to his specific brand of magic. He is also unable to ride horses as they can sense the spirit within him and are quite reasonably terrified by it. He must either run with his tribe or ride in a wagon, either way entirely alone and secluded. He is also very athletic, and enjoys bettering himself and reaching higher levels of whatever activity he does, physical or otherwise. However, he dislikes fighting and will not start a physical confrontation, often letting himself be pushed around rather than retaliate. That is not to say that he is stupid, however. He will fight back if he is actually attacked. He is quite good at fighting too, much to the dismay of many who have taken his submissive personality to be a sign of weakness.
History: An Anjt since birth, Gale was the son of an ardent revolutionary. At birth he had normal features for his tribe, and was quite a happy child for the first decade of his existence. He had many friends, and was always popular due to his ability at sports. A popluar game among his peers was unofficially entitled "Sneak-Up-On-Gale-And-Try-Not-To-Get-Beaten-Too-Badly". This was not a game that Gale enjoyed, though he always won. However, it was his talent for fighting that sealed his fate. His father, the revolutionary, had been researching the folklore of the tribe for a possible weapon. He came across one promising legend, and was pleasantly surprised to find that experimenting with it yeilded promising results. The pinnacle of his project was to be a human weapon, created by binding a spirit into a child, who gould grow up along with its power and become an invaluable tool against Freretris. The only logical candidate was, to his father's absolute horror, Gale. And so Gale underwent a crude and painful operation at the age of ten to implant the stone and spirit into his body, leaving him in a near comatose state. However, a lot of the spirit's personality was lost in translation. During a long period of recovery, the color slowly drained away from Gale, eventually leaving him in his current ghost-like state. When he finally awoke, he knew that he was not the only one occupying his body anymore. Unused to this new presence, Gale almost immediateley deffered to the spirit, and unwillingly unleashed it for the first time. Almost fifty Anjts were killed before he could be controlled. Since then he has lived nearly alone, devoting all of his concentration to suppressing the power within him. He constantly dreads those times when he is thrust out onto the battlefield and his father unleashes his dormant power using a keystone, at which point the spirit within him promptly slaughters countless enemies during a battle. After almost ten years of this life, Gale has finally seized his chance. As his tribe turned south, he slipped off the back of the line and ran away into the night, towards the north. He has long since come to the conclusion that he will never be able to fully controll his inner demon on his own, and wants to seek out help once he reaches Tok. However, he is unaware of the existence of the keystone, and did not try to steal it. This could become problematic in the near future.

Name: Eszrah ap Blæd Player: User Error Gender: Male Age: 25 Magic? None Appearance: Eszrah does not look like a warrior. He is shorter than average, and also appears very thin. This proves deceptive, however. He may be thin, but his muscles are toned and fit, and his small stature allows him to move quickly and agilely in and out of combat. He would seem an uncivilized heathen to many; his lightly tanned skin is often covered by paints, and his black hair is caked in dark brown mud. He wears a loincloth, thin animal-skin moccasins, and an animal-hide cloak. His eyes are dark green. Personality: Being raised by an extremely aloof people, Eszrah is untrusting of outsiders, and only speaks when necessary. If, however, someone were to have the trust of his people, then they will find a quick ally in him. Eszrah may be slow to trust, but he is loyal to a fault. He has great natural instincts, and almost infinite patience. He has a thick accent, and often uses words from the Kiyap Turen dialect. History: Eszrah was not born with the Kiyap Turea. He was found by the Kiyap Turea at the age of six, clinging to his father's body in the plains south of Feretris. When the Kiyap Turea found them, his father's corpse was being preyed on by a wild scavenger. Eszrah was rescued, taken back to on of the elusive Kiyap Turea villages and raised as one of their own. When he was old enough, he was accepted into the family of the stealth-warriors, or the Blaed. Because he was (supposedly) born in Feretris, he has no magical abilities as many of his Kiyap Turea brethren do. However, he has adapted quite well to their lifestyle and is a capable hunter and spy. Though his people stay away from outside affair, he is one of few who will aid outsiders.

Name: Hammon Tyr Player: Zelknolf Gender: Male Age: 17 Magic?: none Appearance: Hammon is a sturdy young man, though he is not a man of exceptional muscular definition. The casual observer would be able to note that he is strong - his arms and chest are thick, his back is wide, and his stomach is flat - but the only places that actually carry chorded muscle are his forearms, and they seem to serve as transition to his thick, callused, veiny hands.
Hammon's jaw is square and his head is wide. He usually shaves his head and face, though the absence of hair seems to accentuate his caulifloured ears. His skin is ruddy and dark in the shadows and a cold bronze in the light, which seems to be matched by his red eyes.
His fashion sense tends to be intensely minimalist. So long as he manages to cover his privates and has enough footwear to make walking comfortable, he is happy. Given a choice, Hammon would prefer tights to other decency-maintaining wardrobe. However, he is not one to complain when tights are not an option.
Personality: Hammon is a simple man. He likes to at least think of himself as a good person, and he has a special soft spot for children, but he has a temper and is prone to violence when provoked. Often, Hammon will (feebly) attempt to argue for peaceful solutions and he sincerely believes that hurting people is not good, but he is limited by his mental capacities and finds himself beaten in arguments frequently, especially because he regularly forgets the hypocracy of being a fighter himself.
Hammon also has another personality that emerges around women with power. He becomes exceptionally quiet, docile, and pliable in their presence. He finds himself eyeing his shoes and doing his best to keep up with whatever the women say while echoing "Yes ma'am" at the appropriate points.
History: Hammon has, thus far, led a fairly uneventful life. He was born in Feretris and identified as a baby as a carrier for the "magic" gene. As such, he was taught from a very young age about the various capacities in which he would be expected to serve his masters.
When his "teachers" discovered how agreeable and pliable of a lad he was, they decided that it might be beneficial to train him as a guard as well. If nothing else, they reasoned, he would make a valid meat shield for any women, and would be more available in places when his masters would be expected to be vulnerable.
As such, he trained from the age of eight in the basic arts of combat, though he had a great deal of difficulty when it came to using any kind of weapon. Fearing that he would be more of a hazard to his allies than his enemies with anything sharp in hand, his trainers redirected his focus to hand to hand combat.
Here, Hammon excelled, and proved himself a skillful boxer and a great grappler. By the time Hammon's body took the shape of a young man's, he was quite strong and quite deadly.
When he turned 14, Hammon started to work as an escort for traveling women. His first several trips proved to be uneventful, though there was suspicion that his size and brazen appearance scared off a potential attack. After a year passed and his training advanced, one of Hammon's trips was ambushed, and here he gained some repute for facing armed men with his bare hands, disarming two of them and disabling one by dislocating the hip before killing the other by breaking the neck.
It was also then that he truly ceased to look so "boyish," and the combination of the stories and his magic gene made him seem a favorable canidate for producing the next generation, and so his purpose was shifted to creating that, and such has been his life for the past two years.

Appearance: Eska is tall and thin, yet well muscled. His body is covered in numerous odd scars that he has gained over the years. From his head falls long, black and unkempt hair. He wears dark and ragged clothing usually made up of blacks and dull reds. He carries numerous weapons about his person befitting a warrior, but often uses only his shield and broad sword. The weapons themselves are battered and damaged, but still lethal in Eska's hands.
Personality: Eska is quiet and solemn, a private man who finds little comfort in the company of others and finds himself best alone. Eska can be quick to anger and even faster to his blade. He trusts no one and keeps his emotions out of his life, finding that they hinder him and make him weaker, the same reason his father was taken, trying to protect someone else. Eska regards those around him as comrades not friends and gaining his acceptence is a hard feat to accomplish.
History: Born of a warrior and a tamer, Eska was trained from an early age in the ways of battle and survival. His family and tribe wandered Nomadic Lands for many years. At the age of sixteen a raiding party attacked and Eska's father was taken, driving the child to the brink of madness, but still he persivered and quickly the embittered young man was taken in by the warriors of the Demere where he continued to develop, proving his strength at arms and courage in battle. In that short time, he discovered an escape in war, letting him escape his shame and hatred, not only towards his attackers, but his father aswell.
