"Drop it, sunshine." Michael snapped as soon as Tansi began to bring that blade of grass to lips. Oh, he was lenient, too lenient with his girls, but he wasn't going to let her eat park grass. What if it had insecticides on it? Nervous parent that he was, he could think of all sorts of horrific things that might happen to her.
Tansi, however, was not one to move out of her planned path. Defiantly, she stuck the full blade in her mouth and started to chew furiously.
And that, of course, was quite enough. Michael stood abruptly, moving over to the young girl and scooping her up. "You can eat that or you can eat dinner, understood?"
Furious, Tansi spat the half chewed blade onto the ground, but now her earlier good humor was ruined. The young girl began to kick at her guardian's side, wriggling in his grip. "Hate you!" She snarled.
Michael, clearly fighting back his own fit of temper, met the other Guardian's eyes apologetically. "Looks like that's it. She'll start screaming now. I'll send you those pictures."

Pash mentally groaned, this was in a way his fault, he shouldn't have been letting Owen eat in public never mind let him offer to share. It was a mistake the ever learning parent wouldn't make again. " I'm so sorry, I'll appreciate seeing the pictures." Pash apologized and sent Owen and Anao a look that meant it was time to go.
Anao shrugged, she was suddenly finding this all more interesting but her father had that look that brooked no arguments. Standing she smiled briefly at Tansi before directing her gaze skywards to inspect the clouds.
Owen merely stood and clapped his hands to his ears to his head to block out any impending loud noises. Tansi's snarl at her father had been more than startling and painful enough for the sound sensitive boy.
His children gathered Pash apologized again and lead them away. He wouldn't have called the meeting a total failure but it wasn't a real success either.
