Eiry found himself extremely happy as Lucretia's face lit up with excitement and joy. Their fingers, for a split moment, were tangled together in the same string and it made Eiry happy, in a way, that he was connected with another raevan. He really hoped that she would be friends with him, despite his uncharacteristic display of fear. Rivener told him that it would make things better, but Eiry couldn't help but feel a little guilty. Maybe that's just how it felt? Then she moved closer to Sev and Eiry shied from moving closer to them.
Isi nodded slightly and he leaned on his crutches so he would have to lean less weight on his legs. Watching the two other older raevan owners, he couldn't help but feel a bit out of place. But then again, he always felt out of place, no matter what he did to try and blend in. He felt like a puzzle piece that could never fit. He didn't let this awkward difference bother him for long though, for he opened his mouth and offered, "I think it was Laz's growth that blew up the Lab, or that's what I heard from Aphi. And I don't think anyone was hurt."
