"Oh boy," Noyana said, preparing for the big list. She plopped herself down and picked up one paw from the ground. "Well, mom had a litter before mine, and there were three there, Siltim, Xan, and Shimah. I only know Siltim well, the other two went away before I was born. Then there's my litter. There's my twin, Chane, and Od, Mjrn and Ngigi, Chuiwa and Njiti, and..." she tapped the claw that was extended... She couldn't remember the name. It was from the past litter... "Ma'Isah, she's from the last litter too. Needless to say I've got a big family," She said. "Not many people are blessed enough to have a twin, but I am. It's pretty cool," She said before he asked. Most asked how she liked having a twin, and she got used to saying that she enjoyed it before they asked.

Wahabu quickly forgot the awkwardness as Noyana listed off a long list of brothers and sisters, though it seemed longer than it was as she paused to think about who all there as to list. He looked rather impressed when she finished her list.

"That's a lot of brothers and sisters," he said with a nod, "I only have the one sister, but I guess my father has five siblings now. I've never met anyone that had a twin before, though. Not too common is it?"

"I've never met any other set of twins!" She said cheerfully. The idea of being one of a few select individuals, even if they didn't really do anything to be set apart, was an awesome idea to her.

"I can't imagine a small family... It must be REALLY peaceful, huh?" She asked. Her den was always chaos, between her always wanting to play fight and, well, most of her siblings always wanting to play fight, there was rarely a moment for peace. She was sure, though, that when they got older it'd be much more peaceful around the den.

"It was cool when we were really young, we could trade places for a little bit. Chane's growing a mane, though, so we can't do it anymore." She rolled her eyes. Size wasn't the way to tell them apart, because Noyana was bulkier than the average female at her age, taller too. She matched her twin's size pretty well.

"So if you ever see a male version of me, that's Chane," She said. Maybe someday she could introduce the two.

"It is pretty peaceful, I just live with my dad since my sister left when we were little and then my mother left not too long ago," he explained his living situation. It was chaotic with just him and Kilango at home at first, but that was mostly because she always was so violent and mean- after she left, it was much more happy and peaceful. Now, he had to admit, it was almost too quiet. At least he and his father had his father's mother and his half siblings. And Ashado, he supposed- though he hadn't seen much of his aunt and uncles' father.

"Trading places, eh? I'm sure that could help cause a lot of trouble," he commented with a light laugh. Wahabu wasn't sure how much like her twin Noyana looked, but he would believe her if she said him growing a mane was the principal difference.

Noyana hadn't ever thought that adults had families. She knew that they had, she just never thought about it. She wondered if adults ever really kept in contact with her siblings... Her mother and father didn't, she knew that. Neither did Siltim keep in touch with his three, besides the youngest litter- her litter.

"It caused some, we mostly played tricks on our siblings, gosh was it funny when Chane would come up and they'd think he was me," She chuckled. She knew what they thought of her, and what annoyed them most so she could monopolize on it. Was that so bad?

Wahabu smiled at Noyana's description of how funny it was for her when he brother came and everyone thought it was her. It was nice to have fun like that, he almost felt bad that he'd never had that kind of chance with his sister- but it's not like he hadn't tried. The scars were proof he was dumb enough to try at least that once.

"That certainly sounds funny," he commented, wrinkling his nose in amusement, "Did it last until your brother started growing a mane, or did everyone catch on before that?"

"Yup. I told him he needed to be more of a girl, but he just wouldn't listen!" Noyana exclaimed, chuckling. But there was nothing either of them could do to stop it, and those fun days were transformed into fond memories, like so many other things in life would most certainly be.

"We still have fun though. You can't tell a difference from a distance, yet," she said. "So it gives me an excuse to ignore whoever I want, and I can say that it was Chane. We're good at impersonating one another." If only he were here... she thought, then Wahabu would understand what it means to have a twin.

Wahabu snorted quietly at Noyana's declaration that her twin just wouldn't be more girly like she told him. He assumed it was a joke, and knew he couldn't have done anything to be more feminine looking even if he wanted to. In fact, he did have some trouble getting used to the mane- but that was mostly if he went swimming. Luckily, that wasn't very often.

"I'll keep that in mind if I see you around," he grinned and winked at her, "Chane, you said his name was?"

"His full name is Chane'mkia, but everyone just calls him Chane," Noyana said, nodding. She was more than sure he knew about nicknames, and therefore didn't have to explain it. "And you know what he looks like, you should be able to freak him out pretty well!" Noyana said happily. In her mind, there was nothing creepier than someone knowing your name when you've never seen them before in your life. It had happened to her now and then, as a trick Chane played on her, as he always knew about it when she came home at the end of the day. Two could play at that game...

Wahabu chuckled as Noyana gave the helpful hint of his full name, amused that she would be so willingly suggest that he attempt to freak out her twin. That was certainly a more friendly game than anything his sister had ever tried on him.

"Chane'mkia," he repeated, "I'll keep that in mind as well. I'll be sure to say hello if I see him around." Habu grinned, obviously willing to play along with whatever game she was suggesting.

Noyana nodded, happy that he was catching on to the kinds of games played within her family. She kind of wanted to ask what had happened, or where the adult got the scars on his back, but decided, once again, that that would be extremely rude and she avoided it.

The change of lighting brought her back to the real world- She needed to get home quickly! She didn't want mom and dad to be worried that she wouldn't make it home in time... "I've gotta get home," She said suddenly, her face distressed. "I think it's too far for me to make it in time, what am I going to do?" she asked, holding down her panic to keep her head on straight.

Wahabu was glad to see that he was not disappointing, and privately thought it would be very interesting to see her twin so he could see the likeness for himself. He'd never really seen any twins before, and it would certainly be interesting. At least while they were still small enough so it wasn't easy to tell them apart. He was startled out of the prospect by the poorly hidden panic that suddenly overcame Noyana.

"How far away is it?" he asked, looking off in the distance wondering how he could help.

"It's not too far, it's..." Noyana said, wheeling in her place, searching for the landmarks that helped her orient herself. Ah, yes, that oddly shaped tree... "That way," She said finally pointing in one direction. She glanced at the sun's position to determine if her younger legs could get her there in time, but she wasn't entirely sure. "It'd be a good 10 minute run though," She admitted, and anyone knew that, when in these lands, the sun accelerated as it sank beneath the horizon.
