That's a fantastic quote. I would continue the ladder, but I have no more quotes to continue on with. Do you, by any chance, write?

Yes, I do, in fact. Do you?

What I read and hear, I remember mostly. It really gave me a large range of quotes to chose from. "When ever I hear a miss quoted quote, I feel the need to "quote" myself. 'Wrong!'"

I do, in fact. I noticed your journal briefly after questioning you.

I'm sure that would drive the unsuspecting victim into severe confusion; a confusion that would only be amplified by your response after they question you about the quoter of the quoted.

You did? I haven't updated that thing in a long time, I don't think. Nearly a year. I was banned for a year by my parents, because it was decimating my grades. Should I upgrade it?

Yes. However, I was not the one who said it. I believe it was Frank W-something. It was in his address to some college students I happened to read.

I can't say for certain as I've yet to read more than a paragraph, but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to do so. I really need to get around to writing again. What inspires you?

A good quote none-the-less. So, how is it in Korea?

Since it is an old story, I have rewritten more stories. I am currently writing one that is much better, that I hooked a very picky reader on. Perhaps I shall post it instead!

Korea is wet. We have monsoon season at about now, so all we get is wind, water, and not a whole lot of sun. Bu that is fine. I am a fan of rain. Are you?

I would be delighted to read it.

I am a fan of rain, as well as an overcast sky. This morning was a perfect example; The sun was attempting rise, but the clouds permitted it to keep its head upon a pillow for a few hours more. It's strange how the morning can cast gloomy optimism upon your perception of day.

Yes, but with rain, comes new life. I enjoy ran, for the fresh, wet dirt between my toes, and the textures and feels of the rain as it blows against my face and drips its way down my body and hair. This morning it rained in torrents, but by the afternoon the weather mellowed to talk softly to those who listened.

How do you like the sunshine?

I'm not as fond of sunshine, though I am eternally grateful. I often prefer the darkness, for it sparks imagination in the human mind. The absence of light summons a war between logic and illusion, and from this I perceive my experimental realities.

Indeed? "The darkness is where the nightmare is born, and in that nightmare there is always an element of truth, whether we choose to face it or not, whether that truth is true or not. If it is your nightmare, it is true enough to you."

I love the darkness as well. I feel a special empathy for my surroundings, and then the hunt is on. To where shall the mind wander? What corridors shall it open? Indeed, this is a glorious thing, such sweeping tendrils of darkness. It caresses the mind, crooning like a lover to your heart and soul.

Very much so, as opposed to the blinding daylight that forces a specified reality upon your yearning mind. To sleep during the night is an act considered normal for those who expect reality to be hand fed to them, and to be nocturnal is the act of the thirsting mind. "They who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."

Ah yes. But also, what was once said "What might be true at night no longer applies to the light, for each one has a place, and that is to dispel the other." To those who merely dream during the night face a different reality to those who face the day. "Carpe Diem". Seize the day. To seize it, to take it, to hold it, to cherish it. To treasure it deep within one's heart, that is what one must do with the day. It is also what one must do with the night.

That is very true. All nature offers should be cherished, but never over-indulged upon. This is the second time I've heard 'Carpe Diem' mentioned to me in just a few weeks. I'm assuming it's quite a famous saying.

It is indeed. I believe it is Latin. Latin is used to describe much still, such as aqua, or Hydra for water. I simply chose Carpe Diem for its flavor. It tastes slightly of salt, octopus, and an exotic fruit.

Ah, and did you not say that the night is your main love? Perhaps not in those words, or phrasing, but in this small particle of time, it is your love. Would it be true that to indulge in the night too much, is the same as becoming obese from the greediness of needing the dark?

I have plans to take Latin I next semester, and the proceeding classes afterwards.

I have indeed nurtured a strong fondness towards darkness, but I experience both light and the absence of through a window. It is possible that I currently over-indulge in the night, but I am in no way reliant upon it. Greed is but a fault of man, and, being apathetic as I am in regards to man and his birth defects, I frequently attempt to dissuade myself from such weakness.

Ah yes. "To dissuade oneself from those that one feels they need, is to deny a holy man his sacrament, and the vampire his blood."

"Self-denial is one of the worst things I ever did. It ruined me for anything I really wanted to do, and left me with a pile of regrets."

It should be asked then, "Should a man destroy all that he claims to be his own if only in the hopes to live a life without regrets?"

The act of creating destruction, after all, is what man truly excels at.
