(Sorry for the wait.)
Astaliare continued to pet her ear a few more times, before moving his hand away. Lightly, he poked her cheek with a small chuckle. "Hey, kitty, don't go falling asleep," he jested lightly. Twin tails flicked about behind the fire fox as he lowered the lynx-fairy towards the ground. "Is there anything you feel like doing today, besides finishing with your room and rummaging through my paintings?" Astaliare was asking, simply because he wondered if she wanted to get away and out, to see old friends or...something like that.

Mew continued purring happy that Starry wasn't upset at her or berating her. Her tail wagged before stopping seeing that his hand moved away. Her ears twitched at the loss of affection and turned her amethyst eyes to him. The lynx fairy shifted her eyes to look at the finger that poked her before innocently blinking at Starry. She could only yawn and arch her back, trying to wake herself up again. "Mew won't sweep then..." She muttered. The fairy lynx almost protested getting down but complied, setting her own two feet onto the floor. She blinked and wondered for a moment. "... Mmmm... Fishing?" She thought randomly, while licking her lips. She wouldn't mind a nice fishy!

Astaliare looked up towards the sky for a moment, tilting his head to the side. "Wait right here," he said softly, lightly petting the top of her head before he moved back towards the house. He disappeared inside, and returned a few moments later. Smiling, he walked over and stretched. "Alright, I've made arrangements for your room to get finished while we're out fishing. When we get back, if you're not too tired, then you can look at my paintings." He carried didn't bother bringing a fishing pole, or a bait and tackle box. He'd rather fish the old fashioned way. Though he did have a basket in each hand. One had the cookies that were left over from last night, along with a plastic bottle of milk, and the second was empty, for them to put the fish in. "I'm sure fishing will prove to be a lot of fun," the fox said with a grin.

Mew just nodded. "Ooookay, Starry." She blinked, her ears flicking up as the fox petted her on the top of her head. In the moments that Starry disappeared, she sat on the ground, poking at a closer, watching it. Her ears twitched, looking to Starry. "Okay. n3n That sounds good." She wagged her tail. The fairy-lynx was still in the clothes that were lent to her, which did have extra length in sleeves and pants wise, but it didn't matter to her. She eyed the baskets he held and smelled the cookies in there. She didn't have breakfast, so the scent of cookies made her little tummy rumble. The fairy-lynx giggled. "Tummy monster is awake~!" She looked to Starry. "Ooh. Mew knows!"

For a few moments the fire fox just stood and stared down at Mew, slightly confused by what she meant. Finally, he laughed softly and shook his head. Once he heard her stomach grumble, he understood what the 'tummy monster' was that she had mentioned. Opening up the basket, he held it out to her so that she could munch on the cookies as they walked towards the little stream not too far away from the house. "Lets make that tummy monster go back to sleep," he said with a light laugh. The fire fox happily led Mew towards the stream, and then stopped to set the empty basket down. Removing some of his clothes until he was in nothing but a short-sleeved under shirt and his pants, he smiled. Rolling up the pant legs, he waded into the water. Astaliare's first attempt at a fish was less than graceful, it resulted in him falling into the water, catching nothing but a twig. Standing back up, he laughed and shook his head. "Well, we certainly can't eat this," he commented, tossing the stick towards the bank.

Mew blinked, tilting her head as Starry just stared down at her. At his laughing, she got slightly confused herself. The fairy-lynx just reached into the basket, reaching in for the cookies that would quell the tummy monster back to sleep. Her little tail wagged happily behind her as she munched with a full mouth. "Tummeh monfer go a'way soof." She caught sight of the steam and wrinkled her nose. She didn't like water, but she wanted to fish too! She just looked to Starry who was removing some of his clothing to go into the water. She smiled sweetly back, as she watched, giggling as Starry slipped in. "Starry taking a bath?" She tilted her head as she went to crouch by the steam.

Astaliare smiled and laughed softly, shaking his head. As he moved out to the deeper end of the little stream, he fell quite a few more times. "It would appear that I am, wouldn't it, Mew?" he replied with another laugh. A few moments later and he turned around, tossing a little fish towards her. It took him awhile to catch anything else, but he came walking back towards her with two larger fish. He sat down and set them in the basket, flopping backwards onto the ground. Of course, this meant that he was now completely wet, and a little dirty, but he laughed softly. "Your turn, Mew. I'll let you stand on my shoulders so that you don't have to get wet?"
(Golly part of that sounded wrong. >__>)

Mew giggled some more, hiding her giggling behind her hands. Her tail wagged in her amusement with the two-tailed fox. Her amethyst eyes were still on the fox as she nodded a bit too excited. The fairy-lynx squealed as the little fish was thrown at her, unexpecting it before, looking as he came to return. "Woooow." She looked at the big fishies that Starry caught. The lynx-fairy smiled and nodded. "Okay, Starry!" She got up quickly to wait for him to be ready for her to climb onto his back.

Astaliare moved to stand behind Mew, putting his hands gently on her waist. "Up you go," he said with a small laugh, lifting her frail, nearly weightless body up. Lifting her over his head, he set her on his shoulders and lightly held onto her legs. This time when he walked into the water, he was much more careful. The fact was that he had Mew on his shoulders now, and he knew she didn't like water. Thus, he didn't want to fall and get her soaked. To the deeper part he went, which wasn't really that deep at all. "There are a lot of good ones that are easy to catch," he said quietly. Although, she was on his shoulders, and...he wasn't quite sure how she was going to go fishing from there, but he was sure she'd do something adorable, as she usually did.

Mew giggled as she was lifted up. She shifted slightly so she was comfortable sitting on his shoulders. The feline amused herself by playing with Starry's wet hair as he waded through the waters. She peeked at the water curiously, towering her head over Starry's. "Myaa?" She stretched herself over Starry, but still couldn't reach, even if she made her hands try to grab the water. Her tail twitched, resting her head on top of Starry. "Mew can't reach, too far."

Astaliare chuckled lightly. "Adorable," he murmured softly. Since the water wasn't too high, he sat down on his knees, which got her a lot closer to the water, given their size differences. "If you still can't reach, then I can always find you a stick to slap at them with?" he offered in a kind voice that was accompanied by a soft laugh. He just felt accomplished getting her to get near the water, even if that meant she had to be on his shoulders. If he didn't adore her, he'd probably drop her into the water and give her a bath, but...now...that would be a little harsh of him, wouldn't it? And he wouldn't want her hating him for something like that.

Mew held onto Starry as he sat down on his knees. She could only giggle at the suggestion. "Wouldn't that scare fishy away?" She tilted her head. The lynx-fairy, slipped her legs over Starry's shoulder to hesitantly put a toe in before dropping that foot in. She held onto Starry's shirt so she wouldn't slip, and let her other foot drop in. Her feline senses were going crazy on her, as the fur of her tail and ears perked up. "Mya--a-a-a.." She eyed the water for any fishy to swim by so she could swipe at it.

Astaliare smiled lightly and gently held onto her, as if to reassure her that he wasn't going to let her fall. If she did happen to fall, he would surely catch her, or at leastmake a nice attempt to keep her from hitting the water fully. "It might scare them away, yes, but there's always the chance that you would hit one on the head and stun it," he chuckled out lightly. He was watching her steps carefully, still gently holding on. Although the little stream was nothing to worry about, as she wouldn't drift anywhere, he still worried simply because she didn't like the water. The fire fox was funny like that.

Mew just stayed in one place, her toes wiggling in the water a bit as she eyed the water, waiting for a fish to pass by. "Really? Myaa.. Well, Mew like this way better." She nodded before trying to give Starry a serious face. "Now, shush, fishies can hear you!" She looked back to the water, crouching in it, leaving her feet in it. Interestingly enough, any sparkles that drifted off of Mew's wings caught any fish's attention, and surface to try and n** at it. The lynx-fairy squeed as she launched at it, jumping on it, rather than trying to grab it and made a huge splash, drenching herself. Right now, the feline side to Mew was going crazy and made the girl react harshly to the water, by flailing in the water.

The very moment Mew launched herself and jumped onto the fish, Astaliare shot upward to stand on his feet. Seeing as there was no way to have kept her from getting drenched, he shook his head. Still, the fire fox wasted little to no time at all. He reached out his arms and immediately picked the little lynx-fairy up and out of the water. Despite the fact that he was worried, and had reacted as quickly as possible, he couldn't help but chuckle. "Perhaps I should have brought a fishing pole for you," he stated softly, patting her back gently while carrying her towards the shore. "Are you okay?" Astaliare asked softly, sitting down on shore to lightly set her on his knees, hopefully to help her calm down.
