"That would make anyone feel better," Almy murmured as she sank down beside her mate, side pressed to his, and lowered her maw to lap at the hot chocolate he'd sat before her. It was funny, but she hadn't even once considered 'adopting' these two. No, they were far too old for that... and she was tired. Brick made her reconsider ever wanting another child again. Right now, all she wanted was to drag Mewtwo back to her human's home or his and curl up somewhere dark away from the possibility of destruction or madness. She felt inclined to stay, however, to help these two poor wayfarers.
Shoe made his way up onto the table, pain gradually slipping away into soreness. They hadn't, after all, broken anything, but there would be some mighty bruises. He hadn't missed Blaithin's correction of the quest-order, and was actually grateful for it. Silently, he stopped himself by a mug of tea. Shoe's eyes rose to look at mew for a moment, then he sniffed the drink. He'd never seen anything more than spring water in his life, after all, and so this was definatly something new. Still, it didn't smell completely tepid, and he let himself lap up a careful taste of it.
The seraph's eyebrows rose almost comically, and he blinked. Odd, but... He tried it again. There was something IN this that made him feel a little better. It was... it was magic. "What IS this?" He asked, finally speaking at a somewhat normal level as opposed to his put-upon grumblings of earlier. "This is magnificent!"
Almy looked up from her coacoa, watching him for a surprised moment before replying. "...tea...." She glanced at her mate, honestly thinking he may have spiked it, then shook her head. "Well then, dear," She said to Blaithin, "What is this quest that you are on?"
"She's lost," Shoemowetochawchawewcatowe replied, lapping happily at his drink. "A bit far from home, it seems, and not a clue where her family is."
"Oh you poor thing," Almalphia put a paw to her lips. "Well, do you have any names, child? I'm sure we can ask around. Most all the feli in the area come here at one point or another."

Regarding the male seraph, Mewtwo arched a brow, "Merely Tea?" he offered; he was slightly bemused, that much was visible in the twinkling of his eyes, however, it was shortlived and he found hmself coughing slightly to disipate it. Glancing at his mate, he managed the ghost of a smirk, again, the facial expression was shortlived, no doubt due to the fact the male wasn't all that used to showing what he felt on the outside, <> this said he leaned his maw down and lapped at Almy's cocoa, the traces of the smirk still aparent as he straightened back up into his usual, regal pose.
Now, Blai was experiencing a similar reaction to her lovely 'magic water', as she'd decided to call it in her mind, except she, unlike Shoemowetochawchawewcatowe, did not voice such thoughts. Her eyes widened slightly as she lapped at the Tea perhaps a little greedily till she noticed what she was doing and pulled away, obviously flustered, "Yes, well... my family," a pause as she gulped down the exra saliva that had congregated in her maw as the scent of the tea drifted up to her nostril, "Their names," she procedeed to make a few calls, meowing, and murring softly, some short, some long; some somewhere between a yowl and a howl, some softer sounding before she stopped and smiled at Almy, "Those are all the names of my relatives."
During the small female's awkward performance, Mewtwo's brows had shot up straight, lost within the small mess of short fluff that dangled from his head and still dripped red paint, "Those... are interesting names indeed, my dear, but I'm rather afraid I doubt... er..." he seemed to be at a loss of words for once as he gazed out the corner of an eye towards Almy, elbowing her slightly in hopes she'd jump in to the rescue. Sadly, M2 was not a social feli and he figured he'd lack the decency and ... attitude to deal with the current situation.
Be it by luck of fate however, both Mewtwo and Almy were spared having to respond, for suddenly Blai's ears perked at some noise she heard coming from outside the kitchen. Sending a small glance towards Shoe, she jumped out of her place and trotted evenly towards the living room, her head poking around the corner to peek inside. Within she found that what was making noise; a television. Not that she knew what it was, mind you, for instantly her mouth hung open before she dared creep near it. Her tail extended as she poked the screen with it and darted to hide behind the sofa; several times this was repeated, in one way or another before she deemed to 'monster' safe enough to approach.
When she did, the female pressed her face against the glass and "OooooOOoooOoooh.."ed rather loudly at the lovely colors and flases displayed, her tail waggling over the ground like mad.

Almalphia twitched when the girl began to... croon? Yowl? ... Have a seizure? The pink feli tried not to show her distaste for the entire thing but her ears flopped back, pressing to her skull. It was nearly painful. Shoe didn't seem to appreciate it very much, either. Momentarily distracted from his golden brown liquid of goodness, he flinched away from her, eyes more than little wide at the sounds coming from her maw. They had been named that.. and she was 'blaithin.'
Luckily all parties were saved from having to follow Mewtwo's tactful response when she suddenly burst from the room. Shoe lifted his head from where he'd once more gone back to sucking up his drink, a slow dribble falling from his chin, as he watched her rush away. "Eh?"
Almalphia glanced at her mate again. They were both fairly used to crazy but this.. Nearly as one the pink water feli and mottled seraph got up and headed out of the kitchen to investigate. What they found was laughable as well as more than a little sad.
"oh my-- NO CHILD!" Almalphia couldn't help it. She rushed forward and pulled Blai from the set, leaning over her as she did to turn the tv off. "You can't look at it that close! You'll ruin your eyes!"
"What WAS that thing?" Shoe snapped, pain momentarily overwhelmed by pure shock. It had been... alive. Roaring, maddening colours as a tiny little things--he thought they were called humans, only in miniature--roamed around in its terribly lighted depths. "Was it trying to EAT her?"
The female paused, once more looking at the strange new feli. "Eat... what? No, heavens, its only a television!"
"But you said it would ruin her eyes."
"......" Unable to process any more of this, Almalphia turned once more to look at Mew for help.

A pause from Blaithin as she was tugged back away from the TV set, her large green eyes blinking once, twice as her paws reached up to rub them; she could still see dots and circles dancing before her eyes, no doubt an after-effect from having had her nose pressed against the screen, "I will?" her head turned to stare at the larger female, and suddenly, she gasped; she did NOT want to lose her eyes. She could practicaly picture them rolling out of her eye sockets, like in one of those ghost stories they'd shared in her clan whilst around a camp fire.
The reaction was plainly visible; the seraph paled, a whole shade till the spots on her face and cheeks had almost vanished from view, as she pressed herself against Almy. She was NEVER touching that 'television' thing EVER again! As Shoe asked if it'd been about to eat her, her small body began to shake, trembling within Almy's grasp; it'd been a trap! She was sure of it now! "But... I don't want to lose my eyes! Or be eatten!" her paws swiftly lifted to her face, covering her eys, a small, almsot adorable whimper coming out of her semi closed mouth.
Blinking throughout all this, Mewtwo sat a few inches away from his mate; his brain was trying to process the information that he'd been given, and suddenly, there was a tensing of his body, a smirk upon his maw, "I think they're Wild," the few words, once spoken out loud, seemed to make sense to him, enough that he was able to get up and go back to his mate, finaly understanding the situation. He paused only momentarily to rub the bridge of his nose, picking out his thoughts to turn into words; words were still, after all, strange to him. He'd been used to telepathy all his life... he'd only 'recently' switched to words, per say, "They're wild," it was repeated for a moment before he addressed Shoe, "It's not a dangerous thing; it'll hurt her eyesight, the same way the sun would hurt her if she were to stare straight at it; does that make more sense? It's a machine."
"Machine?" the explanation seemed to have called Blai down enough to lower her paws from her eyes, but she was still looking wary.
"Machine. It's created by humans," this said he turned to Almy, "I live with a wild one. She took a long time to adapt. And hasn't really fully ever adapted; she's a bit of a hissy case, puts me to shame," his tone was flat as he reached that part, then continued, "She stays in high places and sticks to the outside of the house..." a pause as he tapped his chin, "Maybe they should talk to her."

Almalphia nodded, attempting to hold the quaking creature in her grasp. It was unusual being clung to like this, even for a mother, but Alamlphai seemed to handle it fairly well... Shoe was just glad it wasn't him. "A machine?" He asked, tongue rolling the word out with a strange accent. He had never heard of machines before, but it made sense that humans would make something that housed smaller versions of themselves; he simply couldn't fathom why they would make it so hurtful, though! "And as for being Wild, I must protest. We're quite civilized..." Even as he spoke the last word his eyes moved to Blaithin's trembling form. Right. Civilized.
Frowning, the male Serephim shook his head and sighed. She wasn't making this much easier, "And I'd rather not talk to this person; Can we not simply point this," he pointed to Blaithin, "in the right direction and go to our respective homes?"
"If that's how you feel, why don't you leave already?" Almalphia asked, the question on slightly barbed. One of her bright eyebrows rose a little into the tuft of hair between her ears as she held blai a bit more tightly, comforting the girl; poor, sweet thing she was so frightened. "You're not going to be any help with that attitude."
Shoemowetochawchawewcatowe scowled at the ridicule. It wasn't that he didn't deserve it; rather, it was that he did. Not liking people had never been a reason for being downright mean, or so he had always said if not necessarily followed or believe. Thus, he conceded with a snort, brown eyes glancing towards the female. "Sorry."
After a moment, Almalphia smiled at him and then looked to her own mate. "We could send them to her or Secolus I suppose. He still lives outdoors by choice."
