I had a dream about my cousin last night. She was wearing cargo-capris, and in the dream it struck me how odd that was because she never wore cargo pants or capris and certainly no corruption of the two. We were making salads and she was adopting another cat... and then there was something about the couch and the mud room and winter? I dunno.

It not so much a thought that keeps me up at night, but something I think about a lot.
Organized Religion = Organized Crime
I started thinking about the Likes and Dislikes... the Like were many and the Dislikes were few.

a long time ago, I realized that the Pope is a lot like a pimp.
funny hat, long robey things, unintelligible speech, tricked-out ride, jewelry around the neck, and hoardes of women who seem to be gluttons for punishment.
I dunno. Religion? I decided to have none of it. I'm not even an atheist. I just don't care if there is a God, one way or another. I don't need religion, I guess. Some people do. whatever.

I find it interesting that religion often comes up in discussions, and it often ends in a fight or the like. :/
I figure this is a better place than any to state an opinion though, at least nobody really likes to argue about this sort of thing here. XD <33
I personally am a Christian, loosely. I don't follow the Bible or anything, but from a historical aspect I have to agree with the events, and people and such. But from that same point I must also believe every other religion. ;D
So... I believe very much in at least one higher being, and I do the right things.... but I'm a total slacker at prayer, and I laugh my a** off at Raptor Jesus, but I don't consider myself a bad Christian......

I'm the same way. That's what I meant by being preached at. lol I respect all religions. I don't hate religion. For some it helps them through whatever problems they might have or gives them a purpose in life and I'm all for that. What I don't respect are people that deface bibles or judge other people for believing in God/Allah/The Flying Spagetti Monster. That makes them no better than the people that thump the bible at you and condemn you to hell. Gummi: What makes this such an amiable discussion is that everyone here is educated and polite. lol I don't mind talking about religion or politics with people that actually think before they speak. That's why I like coming to this guild. Everyone's open minded. <3 Raptor Jesus reminded me of the picture I drew of Jesus riding a T-Rex xD

I agree with you, Mr. Sanity. I can't stand the whole 'holier than thou' attitude, or the people who become pseudo-satanists just to piss people off. Seriously, if I were to have a religion, it would be LaVeyan Satanism because the pillars cleave most closely with my beliefs, but people who just burn Bibles and say Hail Satan and crap like that make me angry.
Every time some proselytizer tells me I need to accept Jesus as my saviour and let Him into my heart... I feel like making a "Where's Waldo" spoof called "Finding Jesus."

If I were to ever pick up on any religion, it would probably be Buddhism. It's more philisophical than religious.

And I know just what you mean, Mr. Sanity, I don't think there are any members of this guild that I think of as close minded or stupid. Everyone here is just AWSOME! ;D
I dunno what a Flying Spaghetti Man is, but I had spaghetti fer dinner, and it was GOOOOOD.
There was a girl who was on the verge of becoming Buddhist in my speech class second semester, it sounded interesting, but I've always found myself a little more intersted by Catholicism and Judaism.
Maybe it's the history and art that's associated with them. :I
