UPDATE 7/17/07:
We're thinking about organizing weekly and/or monthly 'lottery' contests. Of course, the plan could be altered slightly by the time it's set up, but here's the idea: Set up a thread and have a random number come up at the end of each week/month, and whoever has the number or the number closest to it wins a prize. Active members earn more numbers, therefore more chances to win. To try it out first, prizes will be small things, ranging from 100-1000 g worth, whether in items or gold. Please vote in the poll, and if you have something further to say about the idea, please post it. ^^

The idea is pretty good. In a guild where I am an admin I did games of some sort every month. Such as ridles and such and gave out prizes to people who completed them. ofcourse no one ever did them sad . Then again the guild didn't get many active members in the first place.
Any ways only having lotteries might be a litle boring...

UPDATE 9/3/07: As you can probably see, the contests forum is being worked on. The current contest lists are as follows: Avatar Contests

Trivia
Picture Scramble Blue titles are contests that will be open when the forum is open (forum will be open to all members on 9/7/07 (this Friday). Red titles indicate that the contests are still being worked on. Contests will be explained in their opening threads.

UPDATE 9/9/07:
Due to my poor timing on opening the contests up, the Avatar Contests have been switched: Final Fantasy 7 contest will remain held on the 17th (next Monday), but the Fullmetal Alchemist contest has been moved to the 24th (Monday after next). I'm sorry if this somehow inconveniences anyone.

UPDATE 9/17/07: Alright, everyone, Halloween's coming up pretty quick, so we need input as to what you guys would like to have set up for the occasion.
We have a few ideas:
1. Halloween avi contests - scarriest avi, most original avi, etc.
2. Thread to post your favorite Hallo themed music/pics/videos and whatever else.
3. Poetry and short-story thread and/or contest.
4. Charade log - a thread where everyone can talk about what they're going to dress up as, or post pics afterwards to show off your costume.
5. Halloween party.
The last would take a bit of planning, and ideas are always welcome. Idea skeleton so far is that we'll use one of the squares or theme one of our houses for the holiday and meet up there for games and such. I've never actually organized one, so if you like the idea, we'll need a bit of help coming up with how to set it up.

I think a Halloween party would be awesome. We could get a square in Towns for one, but not directly on Halloween, because some of us have Trick-or-Treating to do. wink Maybe a bit before, like on a Saturday or something. Sometime when most of us (or just active members) will be able to be on a computer with internet.
A Halloween party would be a great chance for everyone to get to know one another more, and meet other members they haven't. And I would definently like to go to one, so I'd try my hardest to be there if we did. That's one person more than there was for the guest list! (Not that there is one, anyways. xd )

We have a new forum - it's purpose is explained in the main section, so please read it if you have the time.

UPDATE 10/16/07:
M'kay, everyone - RP'ers may have noticed the roleplay list is shorter/changed, the reasoning for this is that it seemed to be getting a tad sloppy. Any missing RPs have not been deleted, just sent to the Forum Graveyard - if someone really wants the RP back on and is willing to update it, then it will be moved back to the RP forum. A few of the RPs that have been moved have been updated, meaning anyone who still wants to play in that theme can start over in the newer one with members that still play. If you have any questions about this, feel free to post them or PM me. Thanks for reading.

-_-' I am sooooooooo sorry I haven't been on! I have been working in a production at a local theatre, and have been so busy. Again, I am SO sorry! I am going to be getting on gaia more, and should be able to come on to the guild forums more. Again, sorry. I know you wanted everyone to be active. >.<

I have a suggestion. What about (The next time we get one) having an Art subforum? Where people can sow off their art, other people can comment (NOT flame), and even more people can ask questions that even MORE people can answer. All about Art. What do you people think?

We have at least a handful of artists in the guild, so I don't see why not. Would be a better place to put the banner section as well. Well, how about a forum for art and literature? So if we have any writers as well as artists they can go there.
