I sent myself to a psychiatric hospital because I overdosed in an attempt of suicide.
I think it was one of the best things I have done because not only do I feel better about each day myself, I know why I was so depressed all this time. I had hypothyroidism.
I still have many connections to people whenever I feel bad.
You're right, give them a chance. They are there to help you out.

My first one had a really creepy and fake grin.. ~shudders~ And she was of no help whatsoever. In actuality, she made a few situations worse.
The one I went to afterwards didn't accomplish much but it was nice to somewhat get through to my dad. =/

my theropist makes me take alot of meds. and constantley puts me on news ones.
I have: 1 pill for a sleeping disorder, 1.5 pills for allergies, 2 pills for ADD and ADHD, 1 pill for depretion, and on top of all that i have chronic asma
