*Victor immediatly backed into the corner as Michael snapped around in rage.*

Michael: "What are you saying Admiral, Are you terminating our agrrement?"

*Victor began to edge toward the door.*

Victor: "i... er... have someone... something I have to do!"

*Victor leaves the room and runs onto the deck of the ship.*

Kibo: I guess so. Sorry, but I don't negotiate with fools.

Michael: "A FOOL!?"

*Michael turned once again to the window and flipped open the book once more. The list of names seemed to calm him.*

Michael: "Good night admiral."

Kibo: G'Night, Mr. Miguel.

He walks out the door, grabs Victor by the collar, and tosses him into the room, closing the door behind him.

Kibo: He's done with me.

*Victor shuffles back from the door toward his Captain.*

Victor: "And what now, sir?"

*Michael places his hand over the black book and three tenticles emerge, two grab his arm while the thrid dissapears into the palm of his hand and pulls out the symbol planted by Kibo. The tenticle worms around it and crushes it. The three tenticles slither back into the cover of the book.*

Don Miguel: "It seems that we have hit a bit of a trouble spot. This Admiral Botch could prove to be a problem, or he may change tides and help us. The problem with his is that he knows too much..."

Victor: "What shall we do sir?"

Don Miguel: "Give it time and then, as we always do we will move along. Collecting signatures until we've appeased Jones' appetite and then we will have our reward..."

*Michael splashes the glasses of wine over the nation of Spain on the golbe.*

Victor: "And what of the pirates? and Tortuga?."

Don Miguel: "By time we raise sail and turn our backs on this place Tortuga will be nothing more than a flickering light in a mound of ash..."

Kibo's left arm twitched, telling him Michael had gotten rid of the mark he gave him. He had stopped thinking of him in the terms of names, and began just referring to him, both in his mind and voice, as "The Fool." He chuckles, running his left pointer finger down the rail on the ship. As he did so, hundreds of markings appeared on the wood, moving across it, each to a different place of the ship.

Kibo: That'll help me keep an eye on The Fool.

*After flipping through the book Michael sat behind his desk.*

Michael: "Victor, how many crew members do we currently have in service?"

Victor: "17 on the Columbia sir. We still have 'bout '57 waitin to be placed on ships out on the island."

Michael: "Call Smithee up here."

Victor: "Yessir."

*Michael stands and walks out on to the deck where the sun is just begining to rise. Victor returns above deck followed by an elderly man.*

Smithee: "G'mornin Cap'n you call fo me?"

Michael: "Yes I have a Bit of a job for the both of you."

*Michael flips open the book to a random page and after a minute of searching he reads out the names.*

Michael: "Spilled Salt, Bletchley, you are called to service."

*The blood red names in the book began to glow as the ships themselves were called from the depths.*

Michael: "Smithee, you will sail to our island and return with 20 men."

Smithee: "Aye Cap'n!"

*The old man moves swiftly for his age down a guiding rope onto the Bletchly a 2 mast schooner. Victor motions to the men below deck and three climb up to accompany Smithee.*

Victor: "I see you've called up a second ship sir... What for?"

Michael: "Victor, Victor, Victor, I have a little job for you."

Victor: "Aye?"

Michael: "You are to take this ship and a crew of 5 men and sail 'round Tortuga constantly and keep a little eye on our friend Admiral Botch."

(thought) He's sure to be watchin me...

Victor: "Must I, sir?"

Michael: "yes! And see to it right away."

*Victor and a crew of 5 clamored down to the Spilled Salt, a 3 mast ship. It's sails are a ghostly grey and the number "13" is smeared on each of it's sails in blood. Michael watches the crew get to their places and then he returns to his cabin.*

Kibo, standing on the shore, was watching the entire scene, various spirits telling him what was being said. He chuckles.

Kibo: Looks like the fool thinks he can keep a good tab on me.

*Michael tucks the book within his jacket and ties a sword to his belt. As he turns to go into town he is face to face with Davy Jones. Unlike those who have faced the Devil Michael does not flinch.*

Michael: Jones, I wasn't expecting you for another week or two.

Davy Jones: "I've come to check on our agreement, 1000 ships due by next month's end... remember?"

*Michael takes the book from his pocket and waves it in front of Jones' face. Slipping it back into his pocket...*

Michael: I haven't forgotten.

Davy Jones: "Good..."

*Davy Jones' attention is drawn to something on the wall. Michael follows his gaze and finds nothing. Jones extends his right arm forward and the tenticle sinks into the wood and emerges with a small spirit. Jones inspects it and places it on his belt capturing the soal.*

Davy Jones: "I'll be taking this, Hav you not yet learned to use that book i gave ya?"

*Furiously Michael withdraws the book and places it against the wall sending a stream of tentacles through out the ship searching and ensnaring spirits as they worm their way through. Even though the book is powerful, one spirit escapes the fury of the book and remains watching over the Captains. Michael hold the book to Jones who collects the spirits.*

Michael: I believe departed souls are your department.

*Michael close the book and puts it away again.*

Davy Jones: "Just remember 1000 ships, by the end of next month... or there'll be the Devil to pay."

*Davy Jones exits by walking through the wall.*

Thought (Botch... maybe he's not so bad after all...)

Kibo twitches slightly as he feels the presence of hundreds of souls disappear. He knew more souls would soon appear to fill the void, but the fact that hundreds of spirits could disappear so quickly, and without a hint of remorse, made Kibo uneasy. The Fool seemingly had no heart, no remorse for the stealing of human souls. Kibo had done the same on many occasions, but those were results of dire circumstances, and only when he had found it the only possible solution to the problem at hand. And this wasn't passing on. On the contrary, this was the enslaving of them. Kibo had experiences with spirits. He knew what imprisonment did to them. It was at that point that he decided the Fool must die, for the sake of the spirits that still roamed the world, their energy powering the planet itself.

*Michael sat behind his desk and flipped through the black book seeing the names of ships of all nations, although most were Pirates and Rouges, small ships he had saved from storms or other disasters.*

(Thought) They will soon see what a "savior" I truely am...

*Michael stood up and look out the window.*

I have 9 men left onboard, that's enough to manage setting sail, but if Botch decides to turn on me I may have to resort to calling up the souls who slave on these ships to my aid. It would be better if I could find some souls here...

*Michael puts the book away in his pocket and leaves the room. Before he locks the door behind him he scratches and image a kraken besides the door and leaves. Michael walks off of the Santo Columbia and into town.*

Kibo peeks his head out of the water, 5 feet from Michael's ship. This could be one of his few chances to get some history on the man. He climbs up the anchorline, and onto the deck, making sure he was unseen.

*a rustling comes from below deck, but at this time at night it is only a sailor rolling over in his sleep, Kibo's arrival on deck is unnocticed. Without its cpatain on board the Santo Columbia is defensless.*

Kibo walks over to the entrance to the captain's quarters, and scratches a rune marking on the metal handle, unlocking it. He slinks inside, quickly moving to the desk, and looking around for anything of interest.

*Kibo has entered Michael's office. To the left is a small desk facing teh wall covered with maps and old messages from ships that were once part of the Spanish Armada, and now rest within the black Book. Against the wall is an even larger map, use lessed than the globe to the right of the desk. The back of the room is all windows which reveal the sea which mirrors the night sky and the full moon. Michael's desk is large and expensive looking. Each door is locked and can only be accessed by a unique key carried by the captain... or Kibo's magic. To the left is the "library." Books of all kinds are stacked on the two large bookshleves, mostly on Mythology of the Sea. On a small night table is a pile of Spanish Newspapers announcing Spainsh Victory in many anval battles thanks to "Captain Don Miguel and the Glorious Santo Columbia." There is also one more book on the table, open to a chapter on Davy Jones...*
