Eh... I don't know. I heard some really bad things about Fragment, mostly that it was a really big let down. I really hope that 'The World' will one day be made into a game, but I also want it to be worth it and something that wont, in a way, ruin my ideals of .Hack. Which a lot of people say that Fragment does/did. But thats just want I heard from the IGN forms.

If they made the game kinda like G.U. it might have done better but they would have needed to make a lot of changes. But apparently Fragment sucked...I really wanted to try it...

Shialu It's not leaving Japan. They closed down all of the servers and informed us that they won't be sending it anywhere else, including the states.
At least, that's what I heard. I really wanted to play it. yeah they announced it at an E3 i think it was in 2006 and then at the begginin of this year (2007) they shut servers down in japan xp

The only problem with .hack// as a real game would be that there would be no difference in that than any other game. Remember, every- thing that happened in the .hack//series were data irregularities. Nothing was ever intention- ally put in the game by CC Corp.
Taking those elements out, do you think you would truly have a unique game? If left in, there would be multiple Cursed Wave quests and Ava- ar Battles. Nothing would be unique anymore, and the gaming woudl be dumbed down.
Leaving them completely out, you'd just have a MMORPG with quests and jobs. There would be no ending, and there would be really no point.

But there's really no point to any online games, but they're fun.

True, but wouldn't you expect glitches, Waves, and comatose victims from .hack? Wouldn't it seem like a disappointment?
