oh man totally agree that joxer would be a donkey. i think autolocus would be a fox. xena would be a wolf. gabbie would be a horse. ares would be an ape i think, i can oddly picture him with flying monkeys from the wizard of oz... i guess eli would be the sacrificial lamb, and aphrodite would definitely be some kind of prissy cat

Xena = wolf (loyal.. a family animal but good fighters)
Gabriele = Monkey (might sound weird i know... but monkeys are verry smart and creative and addept to different kinds of situations.. they are loyal family animals too (and some are verry adorable)
Ares = Musket)o (blood sucking a****** as long as he gets what he wants)
Joxer = Sloth (lazy dumb and slow.. do i need to say more)
Aphrodite = a peacock (only care about beauty and have alot of pride)
Autolycus = Arctic Fox (knows how to camouflage (his disguises XD) and is verry skilled in stealing and escapping
Callisto = Hyena (verry violent and the was she laughs goes well with it)
Ceasar = Warthog (1 he looks like it...2 Warthogs are verry self-centered just like Ceasar)
Alti = Shark (wants to rule the ocean (world) and is smarter then she looks)
Eli = White Elephant (they met him in india where the White Elephant is sacred.. and he was also considered sacred)

Selene0789 In my opinion, I think that Xena would be the wolf, and Ares would be the fox.... To me, wolves fight more, and have a pack mentality, which Xena exhibits in later seasons, as she grows more accustomed to helping others. Ares is more trickster than warrior in my mind, so he would be more fox. Wily and self-centered, it fits the god of war perfectly.
XD Exactly the way I was thinking!! XD Basing it on the first post, I thought Gabrielle would be the donkey, considering how stubborn and amazingly hard-core she is about haggling, but can be absolutely perfect for the one who knows how to whistle ((;3 Aka Tobias from "A Solstice Carol" XD)).
Joxer would be a caterpillar, trying to include himself and giving everyone a rash, but in the end turn into an elegant butterfly.
Aphrodite would be this lovebird, considering how she goes and grooms herself, not to mention the whole Goddess of Love part-- perhaps even foregoing the whole 'Dying of Loneliness if not for a Mate'. Just give her a mirror!! XD
