SEPIROTH300 yeah just shut up because i think dragons really do roam the world I agree. And furthermore, the way she "knows" that dragons don't exist is the same way that scientists "knew" that the earth was flat, and that the sun revolved around the earth. I for one, believe that dragons exist because I have seen no evidence to the contrary.

Along the thread discussion so far: I agree. Dragons do exist.
As for Ernest Drake and his Dragonology: (Insert insulting, rage-fueled rant against them here)

Regarding Dragonology, my daughter based 2 of her paintings from this book.
This may be the wrong place to ask, but do any of you know of other dragon books that would give me more information. The more information I have the better!
As to whether dragons are fact or fiction; I think it would be fair to say that it depends upon the part of the world you live in. Eastern dragons are used today in much of Chinese and Japanese decor and celebrations. Their stories are taught to children, the Zodiac is still believed in, religions, etc.
Saying this....I still have much to learn; I wouldn't bet my life on the comments I've made. Someday, I will be able to argue dragon philosophy and folklore with anyone. I still have much to learn.

um...learning more about dragons....you might want to try Draconic (For Dragons, By Dragons). You gotta get in first, but it shouldn't be too hard convincing them of some draconic traits. A lot of the new people had only recently discovered their draconity, so being a noob isn't all that bad. However, watch what you say. Flaming is common. I actually stopped going because the main posters were such jerks
