Lucia blushed when he said he liked her and then covered it up when he said he liked spending time with her and she rubbed at her muzzle more. She couldn't understand why her heart was fluttering so fast and hard in her chest and she was sure he could hear it!
She gulped and did her best to compose herself, smiling and nodding her head, "That sounds like a wonderful idea!! Everyone at home is quite curious about Ginny's eggs, but don't want to be at the end of Ginny's temper!!" she said, giggling, her blush finally fading off her cheeks. But she also liked the idea because that meant Vana would be around more!

yes!!! yesyesyesyesyes! Outside Vana was grinning, perhaps a little too much but he for the moment did not care. His eyes were bright and his tails were swinging all about and he was spending time with the perfect female and would likely get to spend more time with her in the future. Hello, cloud nine? What're you doing down there?
He laughed. "Yeah. Maidh & I've learned about that already. But really, as long as everyone asks before touching the eggs Ginny's been nothing but the proud mom over them. Loves showing them off. When she's not protecting them." Another grin.

Lucia giggled again, enjoying the way he smiled at her like that and it took alot for her to not launch herself on him. She finally got herself composed and giggled, "My Aunt Morgana was the same way when she had her two eggs! Oh, I'm sorry, you wouldn't know her! My aunt Morgana is another Angelic in my family, but she and her mate had the normal number of eggs! I hope you can meet her one day, I am sure you would like her!" she said jovially.
But she had another reason for her wanting Vana to meet her Aunt Morgy. In a sly way, she wanted to test him, to see what his reaction would be at the sight of her aunt. She herself found her aunt absolutely beautiful and was glad she found a mate who thought the same, but she knew others seemed to have an aversion to blood and bones. She would know if wanting to persue Vana would be right by how he reacted to her aunt.

Morgana? Now why did that name sound familiar. Ginny probably mentioned her. Other family & all. Vana felt little light headed, carried along with Lucia's enthusiasm. He wanted to swing her around in a sky dance when she was like that. "I'm sure I will, if you like her! It'd be fun to meet your family."

Lucia smiled brightly and nodded, "Yes, I would love it if you met my family, I am sure they would love you!!" she said, her own tails wagging. Her wings were starting to tired from keeping her up in the air, "Would you like to sit near the lake or got the HQ? My wings are starting to get tired." she admited, the blush going back on her face at admiting such a weakness in front of him.

The male squelched quickly any thoughts stirred up by her choice of words at how she felt about him meeting her family. Foolish hopes, maybe. Certainly none he was going to share. Maidh would never let him live it down.
"You're tired?" Concern softened both tone and eyes. He should take her home or to headquarters... but selfishly Vanafindon did not want to go where he might have to share her company. Not yet. He was always with his twin. They always shared... or what they could not share found games to make other things more fair. He was alone with a sweet, fun, beautiful girl and he did not want to share that.
Giving a grin that was more assured than he felt Vana inclined his head towards the lake. "You must've been flying a long time. Let's rest at the lake." Then in a sudden flash of inspiration. "Would you like me to fly beneath you, in case your wings get too tired?"

Lucia giggled and shook her head, "No, I'll be fine, I've landed when I was alot more tired then this. But thank you for offering Vana." she said softly. Then she fluttered over to him and kissed his cheek. Then, her face red, she started her descent down to the lake, opening her wings wide to catch the air and brake herself so she could land gracefully on the ground, folding her wings along her back.

He nodded at her words. Of course he had to try, right?
Then she kissed his cheek and Vana almost forgot to keep hovering -only succeeding in not plummeting to the ground before due to freezing up because the movement of his wings to stay hovering had become automatic during their conversation.
But he could not yet follow Lucia with more than his eyes, gazing at her lovely form as she descended and feeling the trace of her kiss. It was not until she was fully landed with her wings folded that the male broke from his trance, shaking his head heavily before down in a playful dive to land beside her. Not as graceful, but let's face it -he's biased. "hey... anytime."
No... his cheeks were not red. And maybe if Vana thought it hard enough they really wouldn't be.

Lucia looked over when Vana landed beside her, and her kiss to his cheek was still fresh on her mind and she did everything she could not to let her blush become to red. How she wished she had dark colored fur like her sister Cera!
She padded over to the water so she could get herself a drink, hoping the water would help her cool down and make her blush disappear.

He did not know what to say... no one had ever kissed him like that. Well, that was not family of some type. What did one do afterwards? Vanafindon padded softly a little behind and to the right of the female, suddenly very thirsty from a dry throat. "So um... out for any particular reason today?"

Once she had her fill of water, she smiled over at Vana gently, the blush still on her face, but not as intense as before. She moved a bit closer to him, shaking her head as she looked over the water, enjoying the sparkles that seemed to come off it, "Not really. Today was just too beautiful a day to stick around at home! I just had to fly!" she said wistfully, a happy, far away look going into her green eyes.

Between the faint blush on her cheeks and the gentle smile so close after the kiss he could not get off his mind, Vanafindon was more than a little bedazzled. Then she stepped closer and the male's poor hormone & emotion run brain just... fried. He still heard her, but all receptors to his own responses seemed to be on the brink as he fought with himself not to reach out and close the distance between them.
Dang, but this was a good feeling.
Only when Lucia looked off was he free from the freeze upon him. "Too beautiful." He repeated in agreement before sticking his whole head in the water to cool it before drinking deeply.

Lucia's green eyes went wide as she watched him dunk his head in the water and she had to wonder if something was wrong. She reached a paw over to touch his shoulder, "Vana? Are you alright? I don't want you to drown yourself!" she said, concern filling her voice.

He jerked his head out of the water at her touch -startled by it and wanting more. His blue eyes bugged out & he sputtered a little, then turned a dripping head to her, smiling sheepishly.
"hehe. Just needed to cool off." Vana explained, looking a little embarrassed.

She jumped a little bit when he brought his head up like that, but she only smiled and giggled, looking up at the sky, "Yes, today is a bit warm! Sorry if I startled you though!" she apoligized, sitting herself down.
