Kain awoke, his eyes bloodshot and in pain as the all to gentle waves crept over his face. He looked down at his body, it was a blur, he moved his body to the deeper water. Looking down into the water, he saw himself, but at the same time he didn't. His body gave way to the sand under his claws. He closed his eyes to clear his vision once more. Once he opened his eyes, there was a water fall behind him, it was sad that now was the time he heard the roar of the falls.
It was cold, a bitter cold, it was surprising that water hadn't frozen over, and that the muck under his paws gave way so easily. Kain didn't remember how he got here, or why he was here.
Kain pushed up on the ground to stand up. His jeans were ripped now, and his back shirt now had no sleeves. His fur was stuck on end now as shivers cooled down his once warm spine. Looked around, icy pillar came to form to point, formed a nice roof above his head. Mineral water dripped down and ran down his snout. It was cold, his pink tongue licked away the water, he moved his leg, walking was going to difficult. His legs were barely able to move, the felt like a gelatin dessert.
Come on, your stronger than this...
He pressed his paw against the cave wall and leaned against it, he slowly walked his way toward the what he thought was any exit.
Kain was sadly mistaken. He had reached a dead end. <********..." Kain said under his ********!" He then howled.
The echo channeled down the halls and tunnels, a rumble shook the area, "Damn." He said hesitantly.
Kain tried to run but tripped over his own feet and flung himself forward. "Come on... Legs get up and move!" He said as he gripped his claw in the ground and flung himself forward. An icy pillar fell right before him, he swerved to dodge another as he gradually picked up speed.
It was cold and his pulse was pounding. He had no idea where he was going now.
Right.
Left.
Right.
Right again.
Right Once More.
Kain eye closed his eyes for a moment, he had come to a five way fork.
Far Right
Right
Center
Left
Far Left
A crash ripped through his eardrums. Center it was. He took off as soon a the shock left his body.
Regret.
Light, it was pierced his view, a small crack of light was ahead. What was happening? Better yet was it his fault?
Kain avoided the rubble that was falling down. He grew closer and closer to the blinding light. And the cold was slowly fading from his body. He dove for the light, but his exit was cut short. A large ice pillar blocked his exit now, and his snout along with the rest of his face slammed into the ice wall.
No...This Couldn't be happening.
He opened one eye, he was bleeding, the warm liquid crept down his jaw, his pink tongue licked the wound. He then slammed his fist against the ice wall. Then he threw his head back in a howl that shook the very cave. The rubble was coming down very quickly.
He turned his head. It would take forever to melt the ice. And even longer to start the fire necessary for the melting. He push off of the ice wall and walked over to the torch on the wall and took it out revealed another exit. He didn't have time to think, he just acted.

Jessica smiles and hugs her friend. It was time to leave the shop that she gamed at. Found in her home town, it was one of the few Gaming Shops left open. All the others had slowly died off. Such a backwater town as the one she lived in really didn't have enough gamers to keep more then one going on.
About the size of a normal house, it was commonly filled with men and children. Woman, like herself, wasn't a common sight. Though she was. Having found this place some time ago, she had brought her friend here, and now they played here every Thursday night.
But now it was 7, closing time, and everybody had to go. April, one of her best friends, was leaving town. She was moving to New York. This had caused many problems amongth the friends. April was the most liked.
But this story isn't about April.
No, this story is about Jessica.
Peeling herself away from her friends, she walks backwards, waving to them as they got into their cars. She lived nearby, there wouldn't be a problem for her to walk. However, as she walked backwards, she rolled her ankle. Falling backwards, she looked to the road. She was gonna fall into it. Almost as if in slow motion, she look towards the on-coming traffic. A fairly important looking armored vehicle was coming up the road. Inch by inch she moved, willing herself back up, feeling the fear rush up and grab her heart. Hearing the squeal of the breaks of the truck she felt tears coming to her eyes.
I'm going to die
she thought. It was soft, echoing thought that sounded defeated. Clenching her teeth, she shuts her eyes and everything seems to speed up. The screech of the tires becomes louder, and she swore she could hear something hitting metal just before she cracked her head against the road. Then everything was dark.
Little did she know that the Armored Vehicle was carrying a highly unstable and untested matter transmitter. Secret from the world of course. As it attempted to avoid Jessica, it rolled. Side slamming against the road, the back door flares open and the Device bounces out. Just as Jessica blacks out from head trauma, the device hits her, and in a flash of light she was gone.
Her mind swam. She couldn't think straight. There was a odd searing pain all over her body. Something was odd, she was feeling something that wasn't there.
Air!
Her lungs burned. She needed to breath! Try as she might, she couldn't breath. It felt as if Iron Bands where wrapped around her chest and where squeezing the life out of her. Lungs burning, she could feel herself getting light headed, could feel concisenesse slipping again when the bands released, allowing her to breath with a loud gasp.
Cold air swept into her lungs, and all over her body. A strange sensation, like she was being tickled by thousands of needles all over her body as the air swept over her left her quite aware that she was still alive, somehow.
The hospital....I must be in the hospital! was her desperate thought.
At least I can still feel my legs and arms....
But the rugged rock underneath her sure didn't feel like a bed. Heart racing again, wondering if that was her bones she was feeling awkwardly against her body, she forces her lead-weighted eyes to open. And gasped.
Above her was tree's. And not any kinda tree that she was used to. Swaying gently in the wind, their large leaves where big enough to be fans.
"What the 'ell?" She mutters, and grimaces as a headache pronounces itself. Grimacing, she slaps a hand to her head, pressing up against it in the eternal belief that something was broken, and then screamed as claws dug into her skin. Jumping up, she looked about, panting, eyes wide. But there was nobody there.
"Okay, what the 'ell!" She yelled out. whoever though poking her head at a time like this wasn't funny. Raising a hand, she was about to rub her head again when she notices something odd.
Fur.....black and white fur running up her arm. Gasping *And actually a bit elated* she examines herself with rising hopes.
"Holy 'ell....Ive turned into a Anthro." Grinning, she chuckles happily. "Kick arse." She says softly.
Looking about she frowns now though. "Well, we got that bit covered.....now....to find out where the heck I am." But she knew better then to just yell out. Looking towards what appears to be a path ahead, she walks on, a black furred tail *White tip* swishing about happily behind her. She wasn't to sure how this had happened, but she really didn't care. She was a anthro, and she was somewhere else then that boring arse town she had lived in.

Light rushed over his eyes. It was blinding he quickly closed his eyes and place his paws over his face.
Wait...Paws? I know I haven't shaved in a few days, but this...Is Ridiculous.
Where am I?! Snow Blanketed the ground under his body. It was night, he gave a howl at the moon. Stars sprinkled across the sky, he tried to make out the constellations. But to no avail. He squalled to his feet. And in a direct hoping to find someone.
Kain looked down, no shoes. Black ripped jeans. Black sleeveless shirt. Someone was fishing out on the ice, it was big. He quickly ran over clumsily.
"Ss-ir Where am I?" Kain asked.
The figure turned around, it was a large cat. "The name is Big." He chuckled.
Kain fell backward. "Your a talking cat!!" Kain screamed and scrambled to his feet and ran.
"Your in Mobius!!" Big screamed after him and started to chase him.
I have fur...! Kain thought And now I have a large cat running after me.
"Leave me along please! I just want to go home!" Kain snarled behind him.
The cat stopped. "This isn't home?" He questioned looking around.
Kain continued to run. What happened to me...I remember being on the beach, falling asleep on a bench. But...What happened after word?
He swung across to a tree and slammed his body against the pine tree, some snow fell down. Not noticeable. He caught his breath. Kain was breathing heavily now.
Talking animals...Where am I?
In the water I saw my reflection...I was a wolf...
Kain let out a howl to the night's sky not even the stars are the same here.

"Nnnnnnggguh...." Miles muttered, stretching his limbs. Blinking his eyes a few times, he took a gander at his surroundings. Trees, grass, waterfall, Tram Station. "What the crap?" He stood straight up, only to fall backwards a moment later. His head felt stretched out. Reaching back, his hand rubbed against the side of his head and as far back as he could reach. "What the crap?" He repeated, before standing up again. This time he appropriated balance for it. "The Crap." He added for effect. Looking around, his instincts immediately recognized the area before him. "I'm in the Mystic Ruins of Sonic." He muttered. Staring up the hill, he saw a slightly different Tails' Workshop from the game. "And I actually know I'm in the dream. Schweet." Miles smiled a huge smile. Turning around, he headed for the water-fall, he had to know what he looked like. Heading to the Mushrooms that justted out of the cliffside, the Anthro made his way down, hoping from platform to platform. Heading to the water he looked in. "Aw... Man! I look all... Samish... except for the fur and the quills and.... I'm A FREKAIN HEDGEHOG!" He danced, giving a few experimental jumpos, but nothing extraordinary. "I was expecting a dog or somethin'. My mind is awesome at times. I wonder if I'll meet up with Sonic... Doubtless, this is my subconcious. SOOONNNIC!" He shouted, expecting something to happen.
Birds chirped. Crickets chirped. The wind blew. No Sonic.
"Well that's crap." Miles muttered darkly. "I'm in a Sonic dream with no hyperactive Hedgie. That's boring." bit regardless, he made his way back up the platforms, out of the pit. "Now..." He looked over his clothes. He donned on mostly similar cloths he was used to. Jean Shorts and his trademark green Jacket. Reaching in, he pulled out his wallet. He checked for his student ID, but it couldn't be found. "To be expected. I hate my picture anyway."

Kayke could hear voices of people speaking... frantic voices... but she wanted to just push them out of her mind. She was half asleep and she wanted to stay that way. But it was cold and her bed was uncomfortable and the voices kept going.
She still tried to stay asleep until she felt a tail brush against the back of her leg. "Victor..." She said assuming it was her pet cat. The tail brushed against her again and she reached behind her to grab it and give it a playful tug. "Ow!" Kayke's eyes shot open. It wasn't Victor's tail it was... her tail.
"What... What's going on!" She said, startled, as she fell from the tree she had been sleeping in with a thud.
"Oh jeez. Oh jeez. Oh jeez." she chanted quickly in an attempt to keep herself from hypervenilating... a failed attempt. She looked down at her gloved hands and furry purple arms. She had furry purple legs too... something was not right. "Oh jeez. Oh jeez. Oh jeez."
She was in a panic now and set off running through the woods until she heard a wolf howl... then she let out a scream and fell to her knees, breathing heavy. "This suuuuuuuuuucks! I'm gonna die! I'm really hairy and I'm gonna DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!"

Jessica hadn't quite caught onto the fact that she was in the Sonic Universe. Either way, she could be in the Demonic Vampires from the Forbidden Toilet Universe and she would have been happy being a Anthro. Just so long as said Vampieric Toilets didn't come after her.
"I wonder where I am though....Hope there is a city nearby..."
That was when she heard someone calling out for a Sonic.
"Sonic? What the-" But she bit off the last part. The most crazy thing had just jumped into her head. If Some idiot was calling to Sonic, then maybe she was in a video game. She wouldnt want to get cut out of the game for bad language. What did the life of a non-character feel like? Then she chuckles.
"Right....inside a video game. Just what I need. Shape-shifting, and retarded. Just keep on thinking up insane ideas, one of em's about to work."
However, her heart was still racing as she moved towards the sound of voices. She didnt run, but walked. No sense in blundering her way into something possibly dangerous.

"...Who the crap?" Miles spun around. He heard shouts. And a howl. And just about every other noise that could cause alarm sprung up. Metal creaked and honked, and Miles seriously thought for a moment that he was being besieged by Eggman's Robots. He calmed, it was just the tram. "Blast, I bet that's gonna take awhile to come back, too." He muttered. Then the scream came back into his mind. Thinking that whoever it was, it must have had some connection to the wolf. Heart pounding, he grabbed a nearby stick and hopefully ran towards the voice. As he neared the edge of the clearing, he saw through the trees some sort of shape on the ground. Unsure whether or not he could break through the side of the area - I mean, come on, you couldn't in the game - He dove through the trees. Whump. "Ow..." He muttered, on his belly in the dirt.
Yep. He could definetaly go through it. Picking himself up, he rushed the rest of the way, until he came face to face with a purple cat. "Hoi, there." He said, adding a fake accent, which he immediatly dropped. "You alright?" He asked. This obviously wasn't a Sonic Character. Perhaps this was supposed to be the new character from Sonic Rush Adventure? But he thought that was gonna be a raccoon.
"Oh, right, dreaming." He muttered to himself, although he looked a funny sight saying it.

Kain looked down and licked his still open wound. "Damn instincts...Damn this world." He said under his breath. Kain was finally accepting that yeah things were bad, yeah he might never get home, and yeah he might actually be dead. "But I have to try..." He said pushing his back against the tree and standing up.
Kain Cocked his head and looked around. "I'm not dreaming...I can't feel pain when I'm dreaming." He said throwing his fist into the tree behind him. "Nope not dream." He said regretfully. "Thats some smarts."
Mobius, eh?
The name rang a bell but it was to bad no one was home.
Kain started to walk down a sloped hill. He kept a keen eye out for anything out of the ordinary. Then again nothing here was ordinary accept he was walking on two legs.
Kain shivered. Snow flew off his exposed fur. This cold was irritating, but it kept him moving, he could see lights in the distance ahead, maybe just maybe someone was in the same situation as him. Doubtful but it was his only home.
As he proceeded he grew more use to the idea of being a wolf. After all, it was what he wanted the most, natural weapons, and armor. He was fast but not unstably fast.

Kayke looked up to see a figure lurking over her. She grabbed whatever was in arm's length and stood up. "Back off you... big... talking... hedge hog! I've got a..." She looked down at her hands to see she had only grabbed a stone "A rock?... And I'll throw it at you or something! And scream some more!"
She didn't look very dangerous at all but she did look really scared and a bit crazy.

"....." Miles just blinked a moment. "My imaginations broke." He muttered again. "You realize I just asked you if you needed help, right? No need to throw that at me, K, catgirl?" He thought for a moment. "Wait, that's Batman. Meh, I hate Marvel anyway." He looked back at the Purple Cat. "So.. what, are you some sort of combobulated Blaze Rip off?" He asked. Something was egging on him that this wasn't a dream. He didn't want to believe it, but she was getting bizarre, even for a dream.

Kain had traveled a distance before noticing that the ground under his feet was no longer snow. He looked back, it hadn't been snow for a while, had he really been thinking that hard that he wouldn't notice the climate change? Kain had been wandering for a while, he approached an entrance. No one was around. He crept around the side keeping an eye out, he slowly proceeded. He black fur blended into his surroundings. It was warm out now, and his wound had healed for now, it was hardly notice able. This was far from any dream.
"What is this place..." He said under his breath.
It is warmer here...This place almost looks abandon. His eyes scanned he area. No one from what he could tell was around. He proceeded, he followed the tracks to an archway, there he took the stair up. Kain needed a better view of the area, thus going for the highest point to see if he can see anything else, any other form of life, it was highly unlikely that, that fur ball was the only life on this planet.

The cat threw the rock at him anyway. "Batman is the best!" She shouted. Kayke then seemed to calm down a little. "What do you mean am I a Blaze rip off. You're the one who looks like a cheep Sonic clone, buddy. And for your information, I'm not a cat. I'm a girl." She had crossed her arms in front of her and was glaring at Miles. "So... are you cosplaying as your OC or something? Are we at a convention? Don't tell me I got drunk and passed out at a Sonic convention... of all the lows..."

Kain looked over the vast area. The air was nice and crisp, Kain panted slightly before once more releasing a howl. This one wasn't out of pain or confusion, it was out of frustration. He had no clue where to go, out of the corner of his eye, he saw something green. It was a hedgehog...He jumped pray to whatever that this wouldn't kill him, he land with ease, and began to walk in the direction of the hedgehog.
Wait...Is that a Cat? Kain thought.
Kain shook it off and proceeded.

"You don't look old enough to drink." Miles said plainly, watching the rock. he flinched a moment, but it bounced off his puffy jacket. Blowing hair out of his face, he absentmindedly remarked he needed a haricut. "Bat man still stinks. Biff, Bam, and all that." He said, referring to the old shows. "I can see your a girl. You got, well, Breasts." He said, but he didn't point. He didn't like using the word 'boobs'. It seemed degrading to both parties. "Point is though, you got a fluffy tail and you look like a Blaze rip off, so I'm guessing your a cat. Now...." He startrd, but stared off blankly. "Erm. Hi?" He chanced, giving a smirk. "Look, sorry for startling you and all, but I can't stand high pressure... things like this. Calm down a moment and lets introduce each other. My name's..." He stopped a moment, thinking it over. "Hah... telling my name to a strange cat girl. Whatever, My name is Miles. No, I didn't steal it from Tails. I was born before Sonic 2 came out so ha."
