((I love how all of your text colors are go together so nicely and mine is just yuck. XD Already I feel like I'm totally spoiling the party for everyone.))

Roka's neck tingled in anxiety as Mitsuko commented how 'Asumi' did indeed look like him. And being called 'pretty' began to conceive mixed feelings within the poor, confused boy. He wasn't sure if he should have taken it as a compliment or an unintentional insult. He didn't think his parents would find it very flattering. Mitsuko was always being nice though, so it may not even have been true, but one thing was certain - Nijiko and Seshiru had done their job well. Or rather, their maids had.

Wincing at the sound of Mitsuko's concerned voice, he knew he'd been seen. Ah well, it couldn't be helped now. Trying to sit up in attempt to regain recovery as soon as possible, Roka hoped he might be as successful at bouncing back as Mitsuko-chan so happened to be. But alas, he had no such luck. His right ankle throbbed, and suddenly he realized his wincing wasn't entirely out of embarressment.

Biting his lip, Roka almost found it difficlut to hold back tears, and blinked them back at the shock of it. Him? Crying? Twisting around gingerly to get a view of the ship's main deck, he could see the illuminated figures of both Takumi & Minori, with the birthday girl herself coming down to help him. He sighed shudderingly, unable to believe his predicament. He had never meant to cause so much trouble.

"I-I'm fine, Mitsuko-san," Roka called to her assuringly, pulling his skirt over his ankle. "Don't worry about me! Go back to your party!" He couldn't tell how bad it was in the dark, but if he couldn't, chances were Mitsuko wouldn't be able to either. He hoped his breaking voice wouldn't betray the pain he was in. He began to wonder if his parents had been right all along and that he really was turning into someone too feminine to be any good to society. This was getting ridiculous. He wiped a few tears on the back of his hand, determined that no one should see them. Who knew ankles could hurt so much? It was probably only sprained.

With these frightening thoughts in mind, he felt around in the dark for his cell phone, hoping to call his limo and have his butler help him into the car before anyone could ask him to stay. He really didn't want to impose, and the longer he stayed, the better the chances he had of being found out. Perhaps it was already too late. No one seemed to recall him mentioning Asumi was mute, but that didn't mean no one recognized him.

"I-inside?" he repeated, as he felt her gently shake his shoulder. "Thank you, ah...but I couldn't. I'd hate to impose. It was Roka who was invited, not me. And I'm afraid I might be late for a previous engagement...umm..." He combed through excuses in his mind, searching for one that would make her let him go without another thought.

However, the more he searched, the more he found himself at the conclusion that perhaps staying the rest of the evening would be best. For one, his parents wouldn't mind. The longer he was away 'securing family relations', they happier they would be. For another, Mitsuko, with her medical knowledge, would probably be able to help him with his ankle quicker than anyone else. It didn't seem he was going anywhere anytime soon. The dress had no pockets, and that meant no cell phone.

Blushing profusely as Mitsuko took his hand, Roka was especially glad it was dark and they were away from the light of the boat. He accepted it gratefully and had managed to pull himself up onto his one good foot. It was going to be difficult to conceal his injury if he tried to walk, so he gave up.

"Um...I think I sprained my ankle, Mitsuko-san," he whispered quietly. "Roka's told me so much about how good you are with injuries, and how you never seem to get them yourself. Uh..." he tilted his head delicately toward her. "Do you think maybe you could take a look later? Erm...if you let me use a phone, I'll call up a ride and I'll be out of here in no time! I promise!"

He glanced out of the corner of his eye up at his fellow class 1A students and waved to say he was fine. Why did they have to be from he same class, though?! Roka didn't know how much longer he could keep up the masquerade, but of all the people he feared would discover his secret, it was Takumi. Not that he knew the guy that well, but it took a man to know a man. And if Takumi didn't notice? Well, then maybe Roka was never meant to be male.

[[ xD! Bah. *bats at* Don't feel like that. xD ]]

Looking up at Minori as she spoke, Mitsuko grinned at her. "Just wait until it's your birthday! Then I get to give you a gift!" At her second comment, a frown spread over the girl's face as she glanced from herself, to Minori, to Roka. "I hope heels aren't cursed..." She said, seeming to take it seriously. "But Minori-chan seems graceful in heels, and Takumi-kun...well, he isn't wearing heels, so we hopefully don't have to worry about you two falling."

"We hope." The two guards muttered.

Looking at Roka then, she frowned, giving a little shake of her head. "I'm not just going to leave you after you fall." She said, stubbornly. "What if you seriously hurt yourself? You'll need medical attention."

Like usual, her bounciness had faded, for the moment at least. It'd return once she made sure 'Asumi' was alright but, as usual, her worry was making her serious. A pity that this was the only time she was EVER serious.

"Nonsense. It's not as if it'd be of any trouble, and I specified those I invited could bring friends, which includes siblings." Mitsuko pointed out. "And if you really do have to leave, let me take a look at you first, to make sure you didn't hurt yourself, or something." Mitsuko flapped her hand. "It'll be quick, I promise."

As Mitsuko spoke to him, the two guards who still stood close to both Minori and Takumi sighed. One of them spoke up, saying, "Miss Mitsuko is serious when dealing with other people's injuries, but not her own. The two of us have been with the Takara family for a while now - we can name dozens of things Miss Mitsuko has done int he past and got trouble for."

"Like," The other pitched in, "The time she was a child, and saw a frog leap into the backyard pond. In alarm, she dived in after it to 'save it' thinking it was drowning. Did she get a scolding for that." The guard snickered.

Looking over her shoulder, Mitsuko cleared her throat. "Katsuo-san, we can hear you. Very clearly." She then made a face. "I'd appreciate if you didn't tell my friends embarassing, childhood stories." In reply, she recieved sheepish grins from both guards. The whole staff seemed used to Mitsuko's personality by now.

Her attention have been pulled away, it snapped right back to Roka as he whispered, admitting to having a sprained ankle. "A sprained ankle? O-of course!" She said, hastily. "Lean on me then. My phone is inside the boat,, and you should probably sit down." Taking one of his arms and putting it over her shoulders, she started up slowly, a frown on her face as she struggled not to slip and get a sprained ankle of her own. It was hard, to say the least, however, wearing shoes like that.

Her own ankles were hurting from slipping, though she knew they weren't really injured. It was tough to try supporting someone else when her own feet hurt, but she could try. 'Oh, who cares about manners right now?' Hoping Minori, Takumi or 'Asumi' wouldn't be too insulted by the lack of manners, she slipped off her heels. Instantly, she felt a lot better, though her ankles still throbbed a little.

Desperately, she looked up at Minori and Takumi. "Um, I need a teeny bit of help?"

(Ah, if only Roka knew that Minori knows. 8DD;; )
"Yes, silly." Minori gave him a grin, patting him on the arm. She had always treated boys as friends, therefore her relaxed behaviour, but then...he wasn't just any guy. Looking a little startled as she realised what she had done, she pulled her hand away and turned to "Asumi". He was crying? Well, he certainly was in character then. Either that, or it hurt pretty badly.

"Well, you haven't seen my gift yet." Minori smiled at Mitsuko. She herself hoped also that the footwear wasn't cursed. She wouldn't like to fall down and get a bruise. It wasn't only the fear, but also the thought of how Daddy might react if he knew his "little princess" was hurt. "Well, I think it was nice of you to try and save the frog, Mitsuko. The innocence of kids are what makes them adorable, which you must be when you were young then."

Walking over, Mitsuko took hold of one of Roka's hand and, like Mitsuko, put it over her shoulders. "Are you alright, Ro...I mean, Asumi, is it?" She coughed, hoping no one had realised her slip.

( XD Takumi might find out if he gets closer. )

"Why thank you, kind lady," he said jokingly before turning his attention back to the matter at hand.

"Well of course. I came down here after all. Might as well help," he said, smiling at Mitsuko's action. "You know, that's probably a smart move." He went over to them, stopping to pick up Mitsuko's heels. "If you need any more support getting Asumi inside, just tell me." He grinned at Minori. "And hope the heels curse doesn't rub on to you."

Takumi made his way around them until he was bringing up the rear, just in case someone stumbled. "You know about the frog thing, my sister would probably do the same thing," he said to Mitsuko, laughing a bit. "Now that I think of it, you two have your share of similarities. I should introduce her to you some time."

"Thank you, 'Tsuko-san," Roka told her gratefully, trying hard to hide his amusement at the guard's little story. How so like Mitsuko - putting others before herself. At first viewed as foolish action, perhaps, but remarkably noble if you looked at it properly. Still, she was going to get herself killed someday if she kept that philosophy. It was one reason there were so few people like her left in the world.

Carefully pulling off his own lime-green heels, he clutched them as they accended, noting that Takumi had already picked up Mitsuko's. A faint smile crossed his mouth as he stared at the pink fabric of the decoratve 'flowers' on thier toes. Memory of his last words before he left his house echoed in his mind.

'Why do they have pink?!' he had shrieked at his younger siblings, who knew of his hatred for the color.

'Pink matches Mitsuko-chan!' They had giggled back, shoving Roka off toward the limo. 'And green's for Roka-chan. Have fun!'

'Don't call her that! You don't even know her, you brats!'

He yelped, startled out of his thoughts as Minori was suddenly beside him, opposite of Mitsuko. He hadn't seen or heard her come by, and was still trying to get a grip of the situation while he nodded absently at her question. It was then that her slip of the tounge hit him like a ton of bricks. Roka nearly toppled all over again and would have taken both girls down with him if he hadn't been on guard this time around.

So she knew, did she? Or at least suspected. His eyes widened as he gaped at her, his lips silently parting before closing again, mouthing a silent word, but unable to bring himself to voice it. How? How had she known? Well, he more he thought about it, the more Roka decided he didn't want to know.

But that brought to mind a new question - why? Why was she keeping quiet about it, for however long she had known? Maybe she wasn't certain and didn't want to bring up the topic, but that seemed unlikely. It was highly doubtful she had nearly used his name just because 'Asumi' reminded her of him.

Finally, Roka resolved to keep his big mouth shut. He clentched it painfully, almost to the point of gritting his teeth to keep from speaking. That could wait until later. But then who else might have known? He chanced a glimpse back over his shoulder at Takumi suspiciously.

Sisters... He almost wanted to laugh aloud at his classmate's sudden choice of a conversational topic. I think I've had just about enough of sisters for one night, thank you very much... Roka couldn't resist a subtle eye-roll at the cruel irony of it all.

"Don't mentioned it, Asumi-chan." Mitsuko chirped cheerily, smiling at Roka. "Helping people is the only thing I appear to be good at - other then tripping, and hurting myself." She added, with a laugh.

As Minori moved over to Roka's other side, Mitsuko shot a grateful grin at her. "Thanks, Minori-chan. I'm worried I'll fall again, even with my heels off, with my natural clumsiness and bring Asumi down with me, so it's good to know there's a non-klutzy person on the other side." Then, as it was brought back to her attention, she looked down in her other arm, noting that she still held Minori's gift to her.

"I'll open it once we're inside!" She promised. "Though if I have a party next year, no gifts." She said the last part firmly. "Makes me happy enough you guys bothered to come." Mitsuko laughed.

"Thank you, Takumi-kun." She grinned as he picked up her heels for her. "And thank you Minori-chan." Mitsuko nodded towards the other girl, at her comment about the story the guard had told. She stuck out her tougue at the guard who, seeming to have a bit of Mitsuko rubbing off on him, stuck out his own tougue in response.

Stifling a giggle, she looked at Takumi as he spoke, before nodding. "That'd be nice, to meet your sister someday!" She agreed, happily. "I don't have any siblings of my own, and my parents are too busy all the time, even to come to my party for a little while..." She sighed, and for a moment, there was longing in her eyes - probably for her grandmother - but she offered them a smile after. "But at least my maids and guards could come. And I wanted to bring my dog and cat, but I was worried if Roka-kun came, he'd get allergic reactions so I left them at home."

Finally reaching the boat-area, she helped Roka in, watching to make sure she and Minori's paces matched. "Hum, just past that is a livingroom - my phone is on the table there, and there's a couch Asumi-chan can sit down on."

Behind her, one of her guards took the present from Mitsuko's arm so she had a free arm, while picking up the one left by Roka, standing behind them so he could place them inside once they went in first.

Minori gave a mock curtsy in return to Takumi's comment, sweeping her right foot behind the other, and still managing to balance Roka on her shoulder and in her footwear. Ah, the advantages of taking ballet.

"You have siblings? I'm a single-child like Mitsuko." She threw a look to the latter that said, 'Well, we're in the same boat now.'

How? She blinked at Roka mouthing the word. She hadn't really thought about how she had discovered "Asumi" was him...maybe it was more of how Takumi and Mitsuko hadn't noticed it...yet.

"Well, it's good to know that people think of me an non-clumsy." She grinned in return. "Gifts are a must, by the way. It's only polite."

At the comment about Roka's allergies, Minori inadvertently winced. It was because of Rose that she kept her mouth shut about his identity...but then again, it was also because she knew how embarrassed he would be if she blurted it out. And she wasn't that evil. Not like Nessa.

"Just one little sister, Ena. She's 9," he replied, following them. "She likes parties. If I told her I was coming, she'd probably stow away in the limo somehow." He laughed. "I'm not sure if Mitsuko would want guests bringing their siblings... and Ena's always dragging her cat around. He sheds a lot... I'm sure Roka wouldn't like that..." His expression was unreadable as Roka glanced at him.

Takumi ducked inside after them, smiling at Mitsuko and the guard. "Ah, that's right. I really need to hand your present over." He waved the gift around as he spoke. "The wrapping paper is getting wrinkled."

"Anyways, there's no real party without gift-unwrapping time."

Satu took a deep breath before walking onto the ship. The reason he was so nervous was simple. He was late, once again. It was also true that he didn't know many of the people who were here. But he had been invited and because of this he couldn't decline. Especially to someone as sweet. So Satu stood outside the ship with a lavishly decorated present in his hands. He wasn't really sure what was in it himself. It was his sister who picked it out for him and by the time she brought it back it was already boxed. He trusted his sister so he descided that he wouldn't look at it, incease in his clumsiness he were to break it. Instread he wrapped and decorated it, in pink because he knew that was her favorite colour.

He took a deep breath and stepped onto the ship. Once again his sister helped him pcik what to wear. Because of this he once again looked like a model or a rock star. He walked up onto the ship, looking around for the birthday girl so he could appologise for being late once again.

Satu evenually found her. He walked over nervously. "Um...Hello...miss Mitsuko...I'm kind of late. I'm terribly sorry."Satu said apologetically. "I kind of got lost you see. But I brought you this though" he said offing the present to her. He felt awkward and stupid but since he was here now he would have to try to show his best face. He smiled brightly.

((I hope this is an okay way to join the party. If not just ask me to delete this! ^^))

Continuing to smile politely at the light conversation, Roka did his best to ignore the pain in his ankle. He giggled girlishly at Mitsuko's comment about her own natural clumsiness, and then, startled by how convincing his giggles sounded, abruptly stopped. It was too feminine for his liking. He really, really didn't want to turn into a girl.

Unfortunately, it was a little too late for that. He knew how to laugh, talk, and walk - okay, maybe more fall like a girl. Too many times before had he been the damsel in distress; the victim of all his sister's playtime games. Too many of his habits had he picked up. Really, it was a relief to him Minori had identified him as male at all.

"Oh, come now, Mitsuko-chan," Roka went on, abandoning formality since Mitsuko seemed to have given up on the idea. "One cannot be expected to deny a birthday girl her presents. And besides - this was the only way Roka-cha - I mean, Roka-kun could attend." He hesitated. "Though his present," he added for good measure. With all his sisters, he hardly ever used 'kun'. Rarely was he ever so informal around guys to use the suffix on them, either.

"Yes, please do open them! I'll tell otouto how you liked his gift." Roka bit his lip at Mitsuko's gracious comment on how happy she was already that they could attend. "Ah...well..." He wasn't quite sure what to say to that. It seemed unlikely Mitsuko knew he was really Roka. Perhaps she hadn't meant him.

More talking about sisters. It was as though Seshiru and Nijiko were haunting him even through the party. Maybe they were spying on him from somewhere. Suddenly feeling paranoid, his gaze swept the perimeter. No little sisters in sight, thankfully.

It was then he heard somthing about Mitsuko's parents. He cast a quick glance at her and his emerald eyes managed to catch the yearning in her lovely, brilliant green ones. He remembered when she mentioned how her grandmother had been so important to her, and how she had died not long ago. At once a great sympathy overcame him, and his heart went out to the poor, sweet girl who had invited pretty much anyone who would come to her party. And he thought his parents were uncaring. What kind of parents did Mitsuko have to skip their only child's birthday? That was absurd.

He might have comfortingly put a hand on her shoulder, only that at the moment he was leaning on her and the task proved rather difficult. Instead, he offered her a sympathetic smile. "That's alright, Mitsuko-chan...we're here. Ah, um...Roka-kun was worried too. He mentioned you had a...a loved one who passed away recently and wanted to make sure you were okay about it. Ah, but it's not my place to mention such things. Please pardon me," he added, just then realizing it may have been a sore subject to bring up. All of a sudden little sisters didn't seem like such a bad topic.

When Mitsuko mentioned his allergy to cats, Roka silently smiled at her thoughtfulness. Really, if she hadn't been so thoughtful, his cover could have been blown by now. "You're so kind, Mitsuko-chan. Though I'm surprised you know about otouto's allergies. He doesn't generally like to mention them." It was close enough to what his sister really would have said, he imagined.

"Arigato, Mitsuko-chan! Thank you. And you too, Minori-chan," he added, flashing a nervous-looking grin at the dark-haried girl. He knew 'Asumi' probably shouldn't have known her name, but he couldn't just ignore her presance. He really was grateful to her, but for more than just helping him up the stairs. "Thank you very much." With that, he took to the couch and carefully eased himself on it. His ankle still throbbed, and it was swelling slightly, but it looked better now that he was no longer forcing his feet to fit the shape of the high heels.

Noting Minori's elegant curtsy in admiration, Roka's eyes widened. "Wow...you're very graceful, Minori-chan. Do you dance?" He was surprised to discover Minori was an only child. His curiosity caused him to ponder if she might have been as lonely as Mitsuko was. Roka really knew nothing of her parents, as he hadn't gotten to talk with her much in class. For some reason she seemed uncomfortable around him as he had noted to Mitsuko.

Great, he thought. Now she'll be even more uneasy around me. I bet she thinks I'm a total weirdo. Though I honestly can't blame her. Catching another glimpse of her face, however, he noticed her wince and he frowned. It seemed she winced at the sound of his name...but why?

"Is there something the matter, Minori-chan?" he asked gently.

Listening to Takumi, Roka thought it would be best to switch topics if it made Minori feel better. Even if it was little sisters. Ena sounded interesting, though. "Goodness," 'Asumi' exclaimed, laughing. "She sounds almost exactly like Nijiko and Seshiru. They're 12 and 10. I'm sure they'd get along quite nicely if you had brought Ena-chan. She sounds very sweet, and the girls have always loved cats."

Yes indeed, and how they hated Roka for his cursed allergies that prevented them from having one. Do all the other families at Ouran have pets but ours? Roka thought a little guiltily. Still, he was very greatful Takumi had thought of him as well. It seemed word of his allergies had spread around much faster than he had ever realized.

"How very thoughtful of you, Takumi-kun!" Roka commented. "Thank you very much for thinking of my dearest little brother." The words stuck to his tounge as he said them; it was just so strange and he could hardly get them out. However, the silver-haired boy soon realized that wasn't the worst of his problems.

As he looked up from the couch, placing his high heels on the ground beside him, he noticed a new figure standing at the door. The person wasn't from class 1-A, as were all the prior guests, but that didn't keep Roka from recognizing him immediately. It was Satu Kimura. He had met the young musician a short while ago. Besides that, the Kimuras and Toshiros were quite close in relations, as their businesses were closely intertwined.

Lucikly, Roka had never mentioned that he was a Toshiro to Satu, but he doubted that would keep the blond young man from recognizing him. He hoped with all his might that his disguise kept his identity well-hidden, because if Satu discovered him in a dress, well...it was over. He never really told Satu too much about himself, so perhaps Kimura heir would think that cross-dressing was a hobby for Roka. He didn't think he could stand the humiliation.

Before Satu could fully enter the room, Roka inconspicuously scooted over to the far side of the couch so that he wouldn't be directly facing Satu.

"So...Minori-chan..." he continued, whispering now, his female voice lowered so that his whisper sounded more like himself. "You seem uncomfortable. May I ask why that is?"

Glancing back at the guard who held her birthday presents from Roka and Minori, Mitsuko sighed at her friends. "Gifts may be polite, but you guys have already given me a gift - your friendship." She smiled at them brightly. "Or at least, I hope I have your friendship." The girl added, emitting a laugh. "That's the best gift one can hope for afterall, hm?"

Glancing at 'Asumi' as 'she' agreed with Takumi about gift-opening, she nodded cheerily. "Alrighty! I know I'll like 'em all though - it's the thought that counts! Though do you guys want to eat first? If you aren't that hungry, I could ask Aya-chan if she could bring in a few fruit tarts, or something." She offered. "I helped make them!" A pause, "...Don't worry. They taste alright."

Her gaze then drifted to Takumi, and she flapped a hand. "I wouldn't mind if she wanted to come. It would have been nice to meet your little sister, Takumi-kun, though I agree about the part about the cat." She had wanted to make all her friends as comfortable in this party as possible. That's why she didn't bring her pets, and asked for everyone to dress as they pleased. She wasn't one to judge, afterall.

"It must be nice to have a younger sibling though." Mitsuko giggled, grinning. "When they're behaving, that is." She looked at Minori, offering her a grin. "Maybe we do have some things in common. Balance and gracefulness not being one of them, of course."

As 'Asumi' spoke, her flickered from 'Asumi', to the floor. "Yes." Her voice was softer, "My grandmother. She was always so kind. She...passed away recently, but she taught me much, and it's because of her I'm who I am today." Then, looking back up, she gave 'Asumi' a smile. "Tell Roka-kun thank you. I appreciate his concern, and his patience. I blabber a lot." She made a face, before laughing cheerfully. "My maids always did say that I talked a lot as a child."

Blinking, she tilted her head to the side at Roka's comment. "I'm kind? Heehee - thank you. I just tried to do what I could to make my friends as comfortable as possible." Then, she nodded. "Poor Roka-kun was sneezing a lot on the first day of school. There was a pretty white kitty there." She recalled seeing the cat. Cute little thng. "I just hope that it's back home, safe and sound. Has Roka-kun been alright, lately?"

Once Roka sat down, Mitsuko's guard slipped the two gifts he held onto the small coffee table before them, while Mitsuko sat on the arm of the couch Roka was on. She then waved her hand at his thanks. "No need. Just glad you're alright." Hopping off the arm of the couch, she pushed another couch closer towards the one Roka sat on. Finally, she motioned towards it, glancing at Takumi and Minori. "Take a seat, on either couch? I can't make my guests stand up all day."

"And Minori-chan is graceful." Mitsuko agreed, with an admiring sigh. "I envy her. If I tried to curtsy..." She made a face. She was pretty sure everyone was aware what would happen. "Anyways," She added, dismissively, "I'll go get you some ice for that ankle, 'kay, Asumi-chan?" Without waiting for an answer, she bounced into the kitchen.

After a few minutes, the girl returned juggling an icepack in her hands. "Coldcoldcoldcoldcold!" The icepack jumped from one hand, to the other as Mitsuko walked back to the small livingroom. Grinning sheepishly, she gave the icepack to Roka. "It's uh, really cold, but it'll soothe the pain in your ankle."

Before she could continue, another voice spoke, one that didn't belong to her current guests. Looking up, she blinked a few times, before grinning in delight. "Satu-kun!" Happily, she pranced over. "Don't worry about being late - you didn't miss all that much, and we don't mind." She paused for a moment as he showed her the gift. For a moment, she was silent, before sighing. "Next year, I really will have to put the, 'You don't have to bring me a gift' in red, bold font." She joked, though grinned nonetheless. "Thank you for the gift, Satu-kun! Take a seat?" She nodded towards the couches.

"Do you know the others here? I can introduce you to them, if you don't." She offered, grinning. Chatty, wasn't she?

"It must be wonderful, having a younger sister."Minori grinned at Takumi. "And of course you have our friendship silly!" She exclaimed, puttting an arm around Mitsuko. "It's just basic courtesy to bring a gift when you're invited. And you don't want us to feel guilty about being rude, would you?" A mischievous twinkle appeared in her eye.

She glanced at Mitsuko with a laugh. "No one said they doubted your ability to cook." Minori could cook too, her aunt had often let her experiment around in her kitchen and it was great fun. But now...she supposed that her mother wouldn't like her flitting about the kitchen and helping to bake cakes. Nor would the cooks allow it, they'd probably chuckle at her willingness to help, and resume to their work. Why do they all still think of me as a kid?

She nodded towards her friend, not wanting to say anything about them being alike...although she agreed that Mitsuko wasn't very graceful. Madame would probably give her a hard time if she was that clumsy...and well, her fear would be much worse.

"I do ballet." She replied to Roka's question. "My mom made me since..." She screwed up her face, trying to remember when. " I was quite young." She grinned then gave Mitsuko a squeeze, reminding her that she was there for her. The girl seemed a little upset about her grandmother, she did so when the old lady was mentioned. "And yes, you're kind, silly."

Oh sheesh. White kitty? It was definitely Rose then. Mitsuko had seen it too... She only hoped she didn't see her scooping up the kitten...but there were so many people at that time.

"Ah, nothing." She blushed, fiddling with the sleeve of her sweater. She still hadn't got over the guilt; even though it wasn't her fault, exactly.

"Hmm?" She looked up, to see the new arrival. "Satu-kun?" She had met the boy in the library when she lost her pencil case. I acted like a frenzied dork though.

"I'm fine, Ro-" She winced again at the slip, although it wasn't so bad, she was whispering back. "Asumi-san."

"But as her big brother, it's supposedly 'my duty' to listen to all her troubles and all that," Takumi said, shaking his head. "It's quite a tedious job."

"Well I'm feeling alright," he replied to Mitsuko. "Though I would like to sample those tarts if you made them yourself. I'm sure they're delicious." He couldn't cook to save his life, and though he was mildly interested in the field, he hadn't yet found the time to try. I keep forgetting to ask Ena for a simple recipe or two... His sister liked collecting recipes of dishes that looked good to her, so she could ask the cooks about it later.

He grinned at the memory of the first day in 1-A. "That's something hard to forget. Our first day was full of interesting things. Though... I didn't see a white cat." He furrowed a brow in concentration. "Was it in the classroom, Mitsuko? Something like that shouldn't have been hard to miss." He gave it another thought and then shrugged.

"Well anyways, maybe we should have a 'Bring Your Siblings' day," he said jokingly to Roka. "Nijiko and Seshiru seem like very nice girls. Ena would be happy to make a few new friends.

Finally setting his gift on the coffee table to join the others, Takumi stretched lightly before turning his head to see who the newcomer was.

Hm, never seen him before. Must be in one of the other classes. He gave a small smile and a wave before replying to Mitsuko, "You know, even if you put 'Don't bring me a gift' in giant font that takes up the entire invitation, I'd still bring one."

Satu looked around. There were very few people that he actually knew around. Most of them must have been in class 1A, like Mitsuko was. This made Satu feel extremly uncomfortable. It would mean that he would have to go meet new people, which he always hated. He sort of wished he hadn't come at all, but he had felt at the time that he should really try to meet some new people. He was really regretting this though now. But in the end he didn't have a choice anyway. His parents had found his invitation in his room and simply insisted that he come. He kind of hated them for it right now.

"Well, it is your birthday. Everyone would bring a gift, anyway I like giving gifts. I think its fun!" He took the seat, gingerly sitting on it, feeling increaibly awkward wearing the clothes that his sisters had picked out for him. They were very rock-star and made Satu feel very stupid wearing them. "Thank you Mitsuko...chan" he said. He didn't know Mitsuko well enough to address her without formalities, but they always sounded so odd to him that it made him feel quite awkward when he said it. Plus he was never sure which one to use either.

Satu looked around again. She was right. He knew very few of them. Most of them were in class 1A. "Um...I know one or two people..." he said quietly, waving to Minori quite awkwardly. "But on the whole I don't really know too many people here. Some introductions would be very nice." he said, his voice quiet and his face going quite pale. He really hated meeting new people but he really didn't want to stick to Mitsuko like glue because he didn't know anyone else. Nor did he want to just stand there in a corner until enough time had elapsed to leave, though that thought seemed very appealing to him right now.
