"Foreign Memory"

A light crisp through the darkness,
Stays bright through the night,
Appearing with carelessness,
To join the fight,

A foreign memory grasps my mind,
I realize I’ve seen it before,
A voice so kind,
Whispers the lore,

The brightness sears through my senses,
My heart melts with anticipation,
My body tenses,
Attempting to master the situation,

My mind seeks prevail,
With expanding velocity,
I uncover the trail,
Of an ever-growing curiosity

That's an original poem by yours truly, in case you were wondering. ^_^

"Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach him how to fish and you get rid of him all weekend."

Fun stuff. whee I'll try to keep the rest of my requests a bit shorter next time. xD

Oh! That looks very cool to me. =)

And I'll translate koko.dk's first:

"Kulii sho tomee la!........ niya sateke saha ipa nokisi mutesa?"
(Pakeke ipe kulu ipe mute moi chisi ikhlaposa.)

And now yours:

"Iniphlake chi oshi gilifoti me ipe lenuta sateshi

Aya oshi shue saha ipe sore moi kakiku sateshi

Sate la ipe lorodu moi lasi mukelesa

Sate la ipe lorodu moi lasi mierunosa."

Wow! That actually looks pretty good in Niora. xD Do to grammar, the endings of the first two lines and the second two lines are the same! xD

M'kay! My turn, my turn! =D

(I found that funny because all Niora words end in vowels. xD)

Hmm.... let's see now, please translate:

Etiktik doesn't pay that close attention to time like we do. They don't have hours or minutes, and therefore don't have the words that associate with those concepts. But, they do have a saying to portray how slow time seems to be passing:

enūg ōtūg, ufla

whee sounds so funny when literally translated:

My day no work, all float

Which basically means: My day is broken, everything just floats

Or more commonly understood as: Time seems to be standing still for me.

Now if that was a good enough translation, I suppose it's my turn to have something translated:

"The birds woke me up with their morning chatter, but then I let the cat out and all was quiet."

Pistil

No problem. It was a long post. =)

"Soeke saha ipe jora ka ipe shkhlini eta hakeshi ko chuchukeshi lilikeshi eta sateke do osi sasha lopo shakeshi chi."

Now please translate, "I have a chicken in my pants." (It's an inside joke... sweatdrop ) It's, "Tsui la osi fuiko ju lasi hokosa." in Niora, by the way.
