| Kinda. I've done my share of font scrounging, but I can live without the fancy ones. |

*fanfare* The Niora font is complete. Sure, there might be a few more tweaks I could add, but nothing significant. Download Link!--------- --------- It's actually pretty easy to use! To type a syllable, simply type the consonant, then the vowel. To type a lone vowel, use uppercase (Shift). For the alternate P, Y or N (lone consonants??) use uppercase (Shift). I've included the period, exclamation point, and question marks (doubled as in the sample I used), as well as some basic punctuation marks like the underscore, ^ mark, etc. I also included digits 0 through 9. Also, to make the "sh" symbol, just use the X key. Don't type a lowercase vowel letter without typing a consonant before it. It shows up funny because of the way the vowel marks are retrofit onto the consonants. And there we have it! Homurakitsune, let me know what you think. surprised ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Vajra -- I got your samples. They're a wee bit blurry on some, but they look good otherwise. I'll start on yours tomorrow if I don't have a chance tonight (and provided nothing comes up tomorrow to prevent me from working on the font). Eccentric Iconoclast -- Well, hopefully I can find some workarounds that will still let me crank out a reasonably functional font that isn't TOO complicated.

I've got some ideas. I'll map them out when I'm done charting out the characters.
That won't be long now, mind you. surprised I've got all of the basic letterforms up with the standard vowels and just need to add the dots for the variant vowels.
Oh, and the Niora font looks great. surprised

IT'S BOOTIMOUS!! biggrin
...Since Kintaran has such irritating issues (it has massive gap above the letters and the ' stopped working), I may raise some funds to request a remake...

Eccentric Iconoclast I still pronounce his name /SeI.gr1x/. sweatdrop I dunno about that, but I say it Germanly. X like a z, then ei is long I, grich is like it would be in English (not aspirated...not totally Germanly. Meh.) Supposed to be like zeegrick, isn't it?

Yeah....
I've been saying his name like 'zeegrich'. What language is it? If it even is one that is.

>_>
I know I've gone over this before, hehe. It's "zee-grik." Imagine if it were a German name, it might be spelled Siegrich. It's not from a real language, though. Initially, I made it up based on a cool item name from Final Fantasy VII. The item was called "Ziedrich." A GameFAQs item list describes its function as "Halves all elemental damage and the four physical attributes: Cut, Shoot, Hit, and Punch" which is pretty effective, even in FF7.
I made the name Xeigrich an official name in an obscure Danga dialect (Danga is another conlang of mine, originally my first, but thus abandoned as such and is now an "offshoot" of Anzer Pex).
I switched the E and the I to throw people off, and I used the X because names starting with X are ineffably cool, eh? I also liked the G better than the D. Anyway, just think of it as "zee-ih-grik" and ignore the "I before E except after C" rule.
"Vajra B. Hairava" was, for some reason, crazy difficult for me to remember for a while. I kept typing stuff like "Viagra B. Haravia." sweatdrop I kept having to go back and check the spelling so it didn't look stupid.
Forgedawn, I think you're the only one who properly remembers/knows how to pronounce my username. XD ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
I'm glad everyone seems to like it.
Forgedawn -- Sounds good. Just get me a clear, easy to read chart of all your language's glyphs (symbols), and what keys you want the symbols mapped to (unless you leave it up to me). Don't forget to explain how any special accent marks or whatever work, so I know what do do.
Serali88 -- eek You're.... uh... You're welcome?
The Niora font came out really well; however, I would like to point out that these results are not necessarily typical. This font was surprisingly easy, but only because every letter has a common base (the little S shaped curve that extends downward). Normally, a curvy font such as this would be extremely difficult and time consuming, but I lucked out this time... All I really had to do was add the little squiggly bit on the left that determines what consonant the letter is.
I just wanted to let you guys know.... Yeah, this one came out great and didn't take long, but that probably won't always be the case. I hope I can get the same level of quality on the upcoming fonts. whee

It'd be easier than uploading images after image to Photobucket or something. Indeed she does. ._.
