More and more things were begining to make sense and he took his own joy in the pieces falling together before him. "Some see it as less of a task and more of a chance to further their own ambitions. They view offspring as pawns; tools to be used in the games of the world... Other?" He smirked. "Others I have seen view their wretched little bundles as a symbol of how pure their love for one another is."

He tilted his head slightly. "Loveless is much like my sister, Torment. She strives to be better than our dam. I? If I loathe my sire it is not for the name that he gave me." It was for the various other things that Plague had thrown at him throughout his life that he loathed the stallion who had sired him... But it wasn't a complete loathing. No, not anymore. Had anything gone differently in his youth he would not have grown into the magnificent stallion that he was today and he would change that for nothing.

There was no love greater then the love Ariston had for himself. He knew such, and made it pretty obvious even to his children. "Love is an excuse." he said, flatly. "Well, I think of it as an excuse for others to not admit that children are a task- offspring are a combination of two desires, and when they are born it is important to show a child the correct way of life." He brought his eyes back up from the ground and looked at Taint carefully. "I wouldn't necessarily look it children as pawns, but I don't see it necessary to teach my own children about such excuses of love."

"Well either way, your father sounds like a b*****d to me." He chuckled a bit, and trailed his eyes off again. "Now that you are older, its not like you have to see him anymore anyways." Since well, that's how it was with Ariston and his own family.

"Some business is still unfinished... I will see my father at least once more before I can hope that our paths never cross again." He knew that there was something brewing in the vile pot that his father had set on the flames of his brother's anger. He had seen that from the day he had healed him... Deadly and dangerous, it would certainly be an event for the entire family to see.

"He is a b*****d... And bastards always get what comes to them."

"Its a nice thing to know, isn't it? That those who deserve it get what should come to them?" He smiled dimly, imagining all of the bastards he had dealt with in his own life. "As long as you don't let this awful father of yours bother you too much, you will find their are much more fufilling things to use your mind on." Since well, wasting one's time on someone else just didn't seem fit in Aristons book.

"But either way, you seem like you know what you are doing, which is a good thing of course. Can't have any MORE idiots around here, since I feel as if I am surrounded lately." It was sad, but strangely true.

"It is a very good thing to know." He nodded slowly. That knowledge had gotten him where he was today. He had clung to the thought that, eventually, his sire would get everything that he deserved for the way he had treated those he had raised from the basket.

He snorted softly, almost laughing as he gave his head a light toss. "Idiots, yes. This world is filled with them. It seems that, for every one person I find worth speaking to there are two or three who aren't."

Ariston eyed the stallion once more before dramatically yawning to himself. "So besides this father of yours," he scoffed playfully, opening a purple eye at Taint, "What else is your story then?" Ariston could go on for hours about himself, but Taint on the other hand seemed quiet in that sense. "Everyones got a story these days.."

It was refreshing to see that the stallion had actually survived, and that no Kalona had gotten a hold of him as a foal. Ariston used to watch Guilian's family in that sense, in a worry for survival.

"Perhaps in time I will have a story for myself... Some grand tale to tell that matches my grand appearance." He smirked as he fluffed his wings in a way that was almost teasing; as if he were mocking himself as much as he was trying to put himself on a pedestal. Was he... Making a joke? If so, that would be a first.

"For now? I have no story, just observances; things I have picked up as I have grown. Life can be cruel for those not willing to learn from it."

"Well I wish you luck on such a thing" Ariston said, with a confident nod. "You don't look like the type that will fail, and I can tell you from experience, pretty things don't fail."

With a last look from the purple eyed stallion, Ariston yawned for a moment before turning his body in the opposite direction. "Well, hopefully I will see you again, without the worry or thoughts of your father on your mind. Good bye!" With one last chuckle, Ariston flapped his wings and made his way into the air. He knew the stallion would be just fine.
