He breathed in a good manner pleased he wasn't stepping on anyone's toes by offering a compliment. He figured if some mares were quite pretty, well then they should know he was sincere about such comments.
The mentioning of family made him perk his ears through the thought of being poked with a horn wasn't his idea of a fun playtime. It felt honestly weird to not carry one as his sister and brother, yet he also felt special being the only colt or if he was a filly to take after their father. His mother had fallen for father, not because he was with wings or horn, or something else. She loved his father because he simply was himself. Calm words of wisdom and sleek overall nature is what made Kahaina so charming. So why couldn't Mythy be like that, why couldn't he simply be loved for who he is.
"Yeah I have a brother and a sister, and of course mom and dad" he nodded letting his eyes lie upon her soft hued ones, "I don't know where you're from, or anything but if you need to feel like part of a family I'm sure mom and dad wouldn't mind accepting you as part of the family." he nodded sincerely, "I'd even be happy to be part of your family."
Mythy of course only knew his siblings, and even though they annoyed him, they simply were just that... family. So when her mentioning of having no one crossed into his mind, he only thought the one thing possible to offer.

She blinked a few times a little surprised. She looked up at him with a wonder and confusion. "That is so nice of you... I am not sure how that would work though... How would I even be part of your family if I'm not born into it?"
Her mind was a bit simple as spending so much time being just for show to humans by humans. She was a little devoid of understanding such things. "I am sorry if I seem weird. I honestly haven't been a free horse for very long. My previous life was spent in captivity, so I am still learning a lot of things."
She scrapped the ground with the tip of her right hoof. She sighed a little embarrassed. She was so sure she was sounding completely silly and ridiculous. She was appreciating how nice he was.
Then she had an idea. "Hey um... would you like to walk with me over to my teepee? I'm sure the human I live with now will have some oats.. or some apples... if you want..." She smiled and blushed feeling slightly awkward, unsure if that was improper to ask a boy or not.

He looked intently at her, his eyes sincere as his heart was.
"I don't see why not. Mom was adopted by Celendria which is my grandmother. Not blood related but still family. Celendria is very nice and considers anyone family. Even those girls , err the two-leggers are Celendria's family" he nodded with a wink, "So you'd be family too and treated like one".
He felt confident on his statement for his mother's blood of ambition and determination went hand in hand at certain times.
But when she mentioned being human property he frowned horribly. Though he liked mingling with the natives his heart raced freely with no bonds. No one could ever ride a free soul that burned with unicorn blood. Only those with a purpose or need would even remotely think of breaking that barrier.
He neared closer to her still leaving space, yet close enough for compassion. She seemed so down about 'captivity' which he would be too if he had to endure no freedom or say in what he wanted.
Then there was the positive trill of food. Food always made the medicine go down so to speak. Besides he could spend more time with... oh dear what was her name? He pondered gruelling over the sounds then finally remembered- Gabriela. She was so nice and pretty in his deep set eyes.
"I'd love to" he nodded with a deep rumble in his chest as he pawed the ground, "And don't feel bad Gabriela, we all have our differences but its what's inside that counts. Remember that" he said with a positive wink.

His sincere stare made her blush and hide her face a little. She lidded her eyes trying to hide the silly bashfulness she was feeling. He was such a nice stallion.
She walked back north towards her teepee, which wasn't too far off. She always liked the smell of the kiln on when she returned. The smell of the human roasting vegetables over a campfire was so yummy. Since Gabriela was a bit smaller that a normal size mare, she was able to easily fit inside the teepee at night.
She walked around the side of the teepee and found the big stake of wood her native had there that held up her eating bag. She put her nose in to smell what was in there. Seemed to be a mix of mostly oatmeal, but there must have been apple pieces. She could smell it.
She turned her head to Mythril. "Um. I only have one bag. Would it bother you to eat from the same bag as me?"

His eyes flickered toward the sights and smell that wafted from Gabriella's tw-legger's teepee. He wasn't well known in the human manners for he strayed a bit from the one mom was usually hanging around. Sure once or twice an offering of food hit the spot since this human (Tirranna) was really nice and convincing. He also was good at playing jokes and running about as she tried catching him some days.
"Shaking his head he smiled at her, "I don't mind, but please eat yours first. I wouldn't want to be a pig when there's a mare not eating before I do." he nodded to her with a polite twitch of his ears.
He was much more content to let her have her fill before he had his.

She looked around a little. She was trying to figure out a solution to this. She also didn't want to just eat in front of him. Something about the idea of someone there to watch her eat made her feel nervous. She had invited him over to share something together. Then, she had the idea maybe to shake some of it on the ground.
She bit onto the side of the bag and pulled it off the stake, and she set it on the ground. With a gentle knocking over with her hoove, she started to move the sack to the side... leaving a small trail of oats and apples on the ground. "Hey... now we can both eat... so noone is left out. I don't mind if you eat a lot. It's ok."
She put her head down sniffing for some of the apples. She found one and tried to eat it as polite and lady like as possible. This meant not accidentally letting juice fly out of her mouth when chewing on them as she had occassionally seen from other soquili when they visited the human village. Her long tail swished behind her as she felt touched by his willingness to let her go before him. She felt silly and enamored with such nice treatment. What a really nice boy he was.
All the while, a smile started to creep onto her face, and she felt a slight blush warm her cheeks. She wasn't even aware anyone would be able to see it. She had never blushed in front of anyone in her life, so she had no idea what that feeling was. She thought it was nice and awkward at the same time.

He watched her wondering just what she had in mind, he may of been a bit on the unpredictable side, but he'd never overstep a lady if he could help it. Why his parents and siblings might be a little cross with him if he did anything like that. So he waited patiently and kept a vigil of her actions feeling almost proud she'd taken a friendly interest in him.
He mused at her so insistently wanting to share her meal with the bold indigo stallion. She was quite interesting and so very polite as he watched her make a grazing haven for the both of them. She was something special to insist that he share as well. At first he wanted to say no, to let her eat since it was the most chivalrous thing to do. But on the other hand it was rude not to accept, so he nodded and approved her decision with a hearty rumble in his chest.
"All right then if you insist" he chuckled walking over toward the scattered food craning his neck downward to grab an apple, "I appreciate you sharing with me. You have a very nice human to give you such wonderful things."
Finding a nice juicy apple, he picked it up in his muzzle and crunched lightly.

She found herself smiling almost involuntarily. She was really enjoying how pleasurable it was to share food with another. After her first apple, she switched to eating smaller clusters of oats to leave heartier pieces for him.
She could sometimes feel him looking at her. She wondered to herself what he thought of her. Was she making a good impression? Why did it matter to her so much if she was making in fact a good impression?
Of all the few other soquili she had met recently, she knew right away that she liked him much more. She couldn't explain why either. She hadn't known him very long, but she just had that feeling about him. It was the kind of feeling that makes you feel like you known someone all your life even though you only had a single conversation with them. She marveled how anyone could have such a feeling. She felt so comfortable around him.
She lifted her eyes to look up at him. She felt a little rude and awkward to stand there so quiet for so long. She hoped she wasn't being boring or a bad host. Even more, she hoped it wouldn't make him want to leave. No, she was hoping he wouldn't, at least not right away.

Mythril was enchanted by this little lady that graciously treated him almost like a prince. The food wasn't too terribly much, but she simply wanted him to share, indulge with her which the young stallion delighted in doing.
He chose the larger apple pieces sensing she was leaving them for his nice snack. Eyes slowly lying upon her he marveled at such a gorgeous creature, a mare who was gifted with wings and a horn. It was almost like a figment, a creation of someone's imagination that formed into the pretty girl in front of him. How could he not appreciate and gaze into her lovely eyes.
Whenever she'd catch him gazing at her he'd nose about for something else to nibble upon being less conspicuous to his infatuation with her. Not even her horn bothered him, for she didn't seem the "poking" type like some soquili he knew all to well. Conversation of course ceased in this time of eating but he felt odd in this silence. His heart fluttered now and then as his tranquil blue eyes caught a sunshine beam playing with a strand of her golden hair. Why was he getting so beside himself trying to create a good impression on one so beautiful, it just didn't make sense.
Clearing his throat he chewed the last bit of apple smiling back at her, "That was so nice of you to share, really you didn't have to but I appreciate it." he nodded blowing out softly. Now what would they do he wondered trying to read her eyes when he watched her. Would she push him off for the day or would she ask him to spend more time with her? He liked the latter idea most, but it was up to the lady to decide.
Patiently he awaited his fate.

The long golden tresses fell around her face as she lifted her head to look up t him, tulips dangling beside both sides of her face. Her blue eyes widened as she felt so pleased that he had enjoyed himself. She figured she must be doing something right, but she wasn't sure what it was yet. "What? Oh. no... it's no trouble. It's actually nice to have someone pleasant to share my food with. I don't get a lot of visitors out here.
Then, she stepped back thinking about how he worded his sentence to her. She then worried that he was giving her a polite bridge to excuse himself to leave. She stepped up closer to him. "Um... do you have to leave? It would be nice if you didn't have to go so soon. I can't promise you anything exciting. I'm afraid I don't do much besides hang around the stream. I suppose that must be terribly boring."
Then, she put her head down and hung slightly to the side. How stupid of her to even admit to doing absolutely nothing and being a boring girl. Someone who was energetic like him wouldn't want to stick around and keep her company when it offered no excitement at all. She chided herself wondering on making such a blunder; and she queried herself over why she felt so adamant for him to stay. Noone was ever around. Why did it matter if he stayed?

Mythril noticed her intentness for company making his heart soar secretly. Of course he didn't wish to leave, why would he when the most precious friendship was forming. Heck who knows it may of become more and he didn't realize it. Thinking to himself he decided not to get to ambitious and screw things up anyway.
Trying to remain calm he responded with a shake of his head, "Oh? Well I wasn't sure if you wanted to be alone or not since night is coming. I mean its not polite for a guy to stay the night without her permission and all...".
He felt like a moron acting as if there were a curfew and he was due home. Why last time he gazed at his reflection he was a huge stallion capable of his own decisions and ideas.
"You're not boring. And well just cause I run around like a nut doesn't mean you can't just sit by the waterside. I like that in you." he nodded with soft smile, "You're nice and calm".
He pondered for a moment watching her, daring the impossible really. Would she want to meet the family? Mom and dad and the siblings that existed in his life. Taking a deep breath he gained courage, "Would you, well would you like to meet my family? I can stay here tonight if you need some company and all."
Now he wondered if he was moving too fast, possibly, but then again possibly not.

She didn't manage to catch herself in time. When he said he'd want to stay the night, she stomped on the ground excitedly. "Really! That'd be so great!" She smiled wide. It was even what she wanted. She peeked her head in the teepee. Her human had gone off for a bit.
"Do you want to sleep outside or in the teepee? I think we can fit all 3 of us in there tonight." She watched him with glistening happy eyes. When he asked her about the family, her heart lept up into her chest. It meant so much to her that he had been completely sincere about her being part of his family, or meeting them at least.
Her tail swished about, "Yes! I would love to go and meet your family. Why don't we just camp for tonight. Then, we'll leave in the morning after sunrise."

Her response was melody to his ears in wanting him to spend the night. His tail though braided had a little sway to it as his feet was secretly dancing. Then he pondered if they slept in the teepee, would this human get angry if two soquili were standing in there let alone sleeping.
"Do you think its alright with me being here Gabriella? I mean I don't want to upset them being here" he frowned thinking about an angry person.
His yawn came faster than he liked it to pulling his lips backward with a grunt. Day was fading over to night as single stars smiled back at the both of them.
"Well, alright I can't escape the fact I'm sleepy. So I'll take your word on it and rest here" he nodded as his legs folded and he lied down for the night, "There's no sign of rain so let's sleep under the stars".
He watched her, his eyes lidding quite heavy wondering how his parents, his siblings would accept this beautiful creature. Silvance was the one that worried him mostly, she was trouble with a capital "T".
Letting the world slip away he felt her nestled beside him as thestars glistened like diamonds high above. He'd ponder 'whatifs' tomorrow once they both regained full strength. For now things were fine as they were.
