There's always salad?

Patriotism is a word. I get what you mean, Miku. It's considered good to be patriotic in our country, but patriotism is associated with fighting the war in Iraq and supporting Bush's ideals about spreading democracy across the globe.

Honestly, does he really think that he can do it?

I prefer cake to pie anyday.

*Sniffles* crying sad emo

But about Bush, I don't really want to think about what's going on in his mind. It might scare the sh*t out of me.

(aryas? Is that what Hitler called his people? I couldn't find a translation for the word arier so I'm only guessing it's aryas)

Aryans.

In Australia, we have a way of criticising people as being "un-Australian", which in turn has been criticised as something which was copied from the Americans.

Patriotism also exists in Australia in the form that many companies advertise themselves as being "100% Australian owned" (also "Australian owned and made" on goods).

Vegetarian pie? That actually sounds quite delectable. If I ever see some, I will be sure to try it.

People here can have shirts with the American flag on it, but only tourists can have shirts with the Swedish flag.

Well... I remember that a few years ago *thinks and counts* Around 2004, a group of kids in my school (okay, my ex-school) we're arguing about something. Me and my friends asked what they we're fighting about and then one girl said "It's okay to have the American flag on your clothes, right? It doesn't mean you support the war, does it?"
We had never thought about it. I don't have clothes with flags on them. We didn't know what to answer.

But... most of the times, it's cool to have the American flag on stuffs. At least some people thinks that, but not all. I would prefer wearing my own flag, the pride flag or the Japanese flag.

I don't think wearing a shirt with the American flag on it means that you support the war; but wearing a shirt with George W. Bush's face on it, on the other hand...

But I'd prefer the Japanese flag because I'm not you know... obsessed with U.S.A (OMG YAY MCDONALDS! IT COMES FROM AMERICA!!! MUST EAT! < OMG YAY SUSHI! IT COMES FROM JAPAN!!! MUST EAT!)
But some people thinks it looks cool with all the stripes and stars... and sure. Red is just not my colour. And flags is not my thing.
I'm talking to much sweatdrop
People are getting more and more fed up with U.S.A. Not because of your culture or people, just... you know, Bush... and for the pirates ( pirate ) there's something else
called Hollywood and FBI.

FBI was here a couple of months ago to teach our police how to stop the file sharing. Hollywood doesn't like the Swedish site Pirate bay because they loose money on it, therefore they're trying to stop it
and I think that they was scared when they found out there's a political party called Piratpartiet (The Pirate Party).

...
Dude, I'm talking about something else now >_>

Oh, but even though some people go "I hate America! mad " there's still lots of people that want to travel to New York. Because this is the country of double standards. We can't choose one side, we must be on both. Like, we don't like war but we make weapons and sell them to other countries, for example.

So, 50% of the people go "I will never go to America mad " and 50% has t-shirts saying "I heart NY"

So, anyway... pie. PIKEA. You know, Weebl and Bob.

What is pie, really? I've seen so many different forms of it. What makes it a pie?

Oh, but it is. Generally you have to make it yourself, though if you can find a vegetarian restaurant they might have some.

Union jack > stars and stripes. Hands down. Better flag, better country, better language. Same colours.
I have a couple of union jack t-shirts but they're really stylized (silver and messy), and I don't really like wearing them.

I hate America. I don't want to visit America. I don't like to think about George Bush. I like some Americans.

Pie needs to have a pastry base, sides, and top, and a filling, otherwise (without the top) it's a flan (savoury) or tart (sweet).
Though I think you can get tarts with lattice tops. Pies generally don't have lattice tops.

@Xumbra
I am pretty sure they do.

@Miku
I have some shits that have an American Flag on them, and some saying "Proud to be an American."
But to an aspect I am not a stuck up p***k like most of them. I take pride in my individualism. I mean after all, I have blue hair!!
I mainly just like them because I am proud that I do have my freedom being here and I know that is some places I wouldn't be as free as we are here. And yes we are not totally free, what with laws and all that, but I am very glad I have freedom of speech or I would be in jail by now.
On the other hand I do not support the war on some aspects. I only defend it because a lot of people here are ignorant and do not know why they ar at war. My reason is I say if we weren't at war then they would have just attacked us again.
But being in war for so long on the other hand makes me look at Bush and want to kick his a** to get our troops back here sooner. I'd rather them be safe then have him try to refer the entire world piece by piece.
(please dun hurt me for what I say or do T.T)

@Iko
WHAT!!!
You'll never come to America!!
How dare you!?!?!
Fine...
I'll never go to ...
Wherever you live. xD
I dunno... I woulda said something to the effect of how dare you not want to meet me but, xD you wouldn't want to meet me. I'd scare you.
But you better like some of us Americans or I am gonna disown you as a sister...o.o

Would I really be here if I hated all Americans?
-_-;

You wouldn't scare me, except for the fact you would have stalked me off the internet.
And how come you still don't know what country I live in despite all I say about it, and despite that post above?

I have to add, in addition to my previous post that the British Government is not, I concede, much better than the American one. But I still maintain it's a better country. It's small, and green, and rainy, and not overly hot. And we have much better accents, as a whole. ^^

Why must you be so cruel to me.

Union Jack is the British flag. White star (*) on a dark blue background with a red star over it. Can't be bothered to find a pic.
England has it's own boring one. Red cross (+ not x) on a white background. Saint George thing (he wasn't even English. -.-).

What's wrong with the British (one t)?

I'm actually too spaced to do anything but rattle off my British eccentricities, despite the fact I'm rambling rather a lot. And, as far as I can tell, coherently, to anyone who knows what I'm talking about.
