Differences
Her Shorts are longer.
Her legs arent near as built up as in the manga, She now has weak stick legs
The HotPants are a little longer. Not much
Hair is poof-ier in Anime
Boot heels arent as big. Her feet would have a more sloped-up like design in the anime image.
Manga hot pants have ZIPPERS in the front, and back.
Animators decided she just cut off the dress part of her previous outfit. There fore, baggy-ness that isnt in the manga.
Obviously... Tsunade's likeness is represented in Manga.
Boots have lost details.
Alike
Looks like Bangs are the same.
Same headband.
Same Elbow pads.
Same eyes.
Same kunai pouch, no shruiken baggy.
Color Scheme
Belt buckle design
Thats the only things kept the same...
I hate how they drew her. Really.
But in the newest, Shipuuden "Episode 19" her design is changed to a little more like the manga. When I saw her charging at the wall, I seriously told a friend "thats the best she's looked all Shipuuden [excluding the opening when she's punching the screen]"

[Shimizu-chan] I didn't like it either. ;_;
I mean, in the manga, she looked adorable; her hair looked better, her skirt was shorter, cuter, as well as her boots.
I don't know about you, but her chest got SMALLER. Seriously. Now she has close to none, like a 10 year old. I know most anime exaggerate girl/women's boobs, but SERIOUSLY! Give this girl some curves! She's as flat as a board! In the manga, she looked better...
And it's not just that; her elbow...thing, and her skirt is WAY too purple. In the manga cover, it wasn't THAT purple. And her boots are like long black socks. Her shirt is wat too big for her; it should be a little bit tighter.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed. Manga = better. Tenten also looks alot uglier in the anime than the manga. THANK YOU! you put it way better than I did. lol biggrin

When I first saw her in the Shippuuden anime, I was surprised at the skirt. . The skirt colour is horrible and in the manga, it looks more curvy and better. But in the anime it looks more flat and looks longer.
Her hair became very.. spiky, I don't mind that much, but I like the glossy and wavy hair more. xD
She look like she is wearing armor boots as well.. sweatdrop
Overall, I don't really hate the design.. especially when the series goes deeper. Maybe it's just me getting used to her. rolleyes

Also, her gloves and boots THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BLACK, is now a dark...purple thing. It's NOWHERE near black. That also irritated me. Now she's more of a purple person than in the manga, where she is teh coolio black, red, and purple. -_-

I think that she looks way better when shes younger. It's really dissapointing. I wish they had done better...

Sakura looks okay in the anime, but I still think that they could have done better than that. She sometimes does not look pretty as she supposed to be. I like her way better in the manga series.

They've been getting better with how they've been drawing her recently. I was mostly upset with how they drew her clothes-- her skirt is up to high on her body, and her shirt isn't long enough. I know, I've studied her costume enough for cosplay to know XD

She looks awesome in shippuden! Sakura is my favorite character,so i still like her. Besides,she looks stronger (actually she is stronger)
