Ostern smiled and nodded, then walked slowly towards the spot they left Nakawara. He looked around, "Little buddy where did you go?" He felt deep down a seed of worry starting to build in his stomach. He shivered and his tail stoped wagging. "I will get us food as soon as we fine him." he tried not to show he growing fear. He knew the pera kit could take care of himself but he was still worried.

"Okay!" The femme said happily, oblivious to the other's growing worry. She was positive they would reach the spot and find Nakawara there. It didn't occur to her that her little brother could've gotten up and wandered off. Surprising, considering the perma-kit was prone to such random movements.
Ears perked from not far off, catching the familiar voices on the wind. Upon waking up and realizing he was alone, Nakawara had quickly grown bored and decided to find something more interesting to do. He didn't figure the others had left him to be mean, he just figured they wanted to do something while he slept. So, from a patch of tall grass nearby, the kit tumbled out. Silver eyes scanned the surroundings and quickly picked out the familiar colorations from the nature around them. "Over here!" he shouted, clumsily picking himself up and trotting towards them.

Hearing the kit's voice Ostern's tail starting to wag and his ears perked up. He smiled at Nadeshiko and ran towards the kit. "How was your nap my friend?" He asked warmly and then smirked, "I believe your sister would love to see your skill at fishing, shall we go and catch some dinner?" He winked at the dark female and lowered his body down near the kit.

"Yeah?" Nakawara was rather excited at the prospect of being able to show off his fishing skills. The older male had taught him well. He could even fish on his own, which he'd done quite a few times before meeting up with his friend again. It was a lot of fun. "Let's go!" He exclaimed, tiny legs already carrying him off towards the water. At least, he thought this was the right way. If not, he trusted Ostern to redirect him. For now, he was too happy to think too hard about it.
The violet femme giggled, bouncing a little where she stood. So much excitement in one place obviously got her excited, too. Sticking close to the adult male's side, she watched her little brother bound off in some random direction. She'd never been to the water, so she really had no idea where to go. "Fish dinner!" She said playfully, tails whipping about.

Ostern laughed and smiled brightly at Nadeshiko, "Well then you will have a very nice fish dinner." he licked her cheek again and started troting after Nakawara, "Alittle more to the right little buddy." he called out flicking his tail flicking happily. He was so have to have these two fro friends, they were so fun to be with. And he was developing strong feelings for both of them.

Cyan eyes shone brightly, tails flicked faster, and paws danced with excitement. While it wasn't always healthy, the femme had absolutely no restraint over her emotions. The glee she felt now was nearly overflowing. Giggling at the lick, she bounded to catch up, nuzzling against Ostern's side as she did so. "Nadeshiko hasn't had fish in a long, long time!" Actually, she couldn't remember having fish at all, but that didn't much matter. She probably had, and the happiness of the moment was just enough to push that little tidbit from her memory for the time being.
"Right, right, right," A swift nod of his tiny head also symbolized he heard. Paws crossed as he moved in his path just a little. Just like his friend had told him. Patterned tails flicked high behind him, as if they were his helper-guides. Every once in a while, he would raise his nose to the air, hoping to catch a whiff of the water. "Not much further, right?" he asked, glancing behind him.

Ostern smiled at the dark female, "Well then we will just have to make sure this meal is very big so next time you really enjoy it and the next time will not seem so far away." He smiled at his little friend so proud of how he seem to remember and apply alot of the things talked bout. "Yes you should be comming up soon enough."

"Okay!" Nadeshiko would be happy to remember the fish dinner her little brother and Ostern would get for her. After all, a gift from a friend was almost as wonderful as the friend themself, even though she couldn't always recall the deed as much as the Kitsu. Almost prancing, she moved past the bright colored male, tails wagging happily and swishing up loose strands of grass as she went.
Nakawara jumped a little as he heard the water was coming up soon. He'd fished quite a bit between the time he'd met Ostern and now, but the first time had always been the best. Fishing with his friend was more exciting than fishing alone. Silver eyes narrowed now, trying to focus on something in the distance. It shone and sort of wiggled... The water, he thought! Grinning from ear to ear, he zoomed off, heading straight for what luckily turned out to be water. Tiny paws splashed as he waded into the shallow end, fogetting that he would scare off the fish. Ah well, they would come back.

Ostern's tail wagged happily. He did not remember having so much fun than he was having these days with these two Kitsu. He watched Nadeshiko run in front of him his eyes watching her tails move and how she ran. He loved seeing her dark coloring sway and move. He hear Nakawara take off and he rolled his eyes. "No don't wait up!" he called out teasingly. He picked up speed as well as his two friends did. "I think he found the water, shall we race to it Nadeshiko?" He winked at her and nipped her shoulder playfuly.

Focused on her zooming brother, the femme jumped in surprise when she felt the n** at her shoulder. Cyan eyes shifted. Her mind told her body to relax as she realized it was only Ostern. Then her mind took to processing the words he'd spoken before. Her ears had heard him, but she'd nearly missed it. “Race?” she questioned, canting her head as much as was possible while she continued to run. A playful grin split her maw. Racing was just another form of play, right? She was more than willing. “Okay! Nadeshiko will beat Ostern!” She called with a giggle, picking up speed and darting forward.
At the water, the little silver-marked male heard the loud 'okay' from his sister. He wondered what it was all about. While the violet femme was loud, the race invitation from Ostern hadn't been loud enough for him to hear. Tails swayed along the water's surface as he waded out, flopping down onto the shore to wait for the others.

Ostren laughed loudly seeing her reaction. He was really thankful and loving his new friends. He smirked, "OH I don't think so...I think I can beat you my dear." He smiled and started to put on more speed his body lowering and becomign slightly more streamline. He did not pull too far ahead of the dark female. And he knew it would be a bit more of a challenge with her longer legs, "Nakawara! You are the finish line so you will have to tell us who wins!" he shouted out.

The strangest thing seemed to happen now. For once her life, cyan eyes lost the childish glow they usually held. A flash of friendly competition shone instead, darkening her gaze and making her look much more serious than she ever had before. Paws beat heavily against the soft earth as she kept pace. This wasn't her first race. But maybe, just maybe, this was the first time she truly wanted to prove herself to someone. Grinning at the male's shoulder, she flicked her tails to help balance. It threw her speed a little, but it would be worth it in the end. "Ostern and Nadeshiko are almost there!" She shouted over the wind that sped past them. She could see her little brother in the distance, too.
Small ears perked, swiveling curiously. What was that? Who wins? Pushing himself to a stand, he gazed out, silver eyes scanning the horizon beyond his position. It didn't take long before he saw the familiar and now speeding forms heading his direction. They were racing! That was what Ostern wanted him to judge. All three tails flicked excitedly as he trained his gaze on them. He would be a good judge and make sure he got it right.

Ostern would have been rather interesting in the change in Nadeshiko's eyes if he had seen. He could feel the warmth of her racing body drawing near to him. She was now at his shoulder. He put on a bit more speed trying to broaden the gap a bit more. But as he moved he felt the warmth of her right next to him, he could see his friend Nakawara drawing closer and quickly he knew if he tried any faster he might not be able to stop but he and the lovely dark female were now shoulder to shoulder it was going to be so close, "We are almost there! Keep a sharp eye Nakawara!" he coulded out his voice had a bit of a pant in it as he hurried.

So concerned with victory, the female's mind didn't register Ostern's words, despite how close they were. And even though she saw her brother, her mind didn't seem to quite understand just what that meant. All she could feel was the heat of their competition as it drove her on, pushing her smaller frame much harder than it had ever been pushed before. The world moved in slow motion as her gaze wandered slightly. Bright colors caught her eye. How close this race would be- Cyan eyes then widened considerably. Something snapped, reminding her of her true self. Her brother's tiny form burred past her, but she could see his confused expression with almost vivid detail. There was no time to stop. Shutting her eyes tightly, she sped right into the water, feeling the cold numb her body with a strange and painful quickness.
Tails lashed in happy waiting. Nakawara was ready to judge and he was sure he'd be right, no matter what. Maybe they could have a fun little debate about who really won, but either way, his call would be final and correct. After all, he was the great judge. Standing on tippy-paws, he saw them drawing closer. And it seemed in a single blink they were at his side. And his sister... she wasn't stopping. Silver eyes narrowed in confusion, watching her zoom past. What was happening? He looked to Ostern for guidance as he heard the splash of water. It all happened too fast.

Ostern saw his small friend drawing closer. He knew at the speed they were going it would be almost impossible to stop before hitting the water. He froced himself to start slowly he could see that Nadeshiko did not seem to realize that the race was almost over she was going far too fast. He was about to call out to her to start to slow down when he saw her dark form blaze past her brother's he herd the loud crash of the water breaking as the female's form fell in. He himself could only stop when he jumped in the water the iceyness around his knees. "Nakawara can she swim?" He asked hurriedly then he moved towards the position she had gone in, "Nadashiko!" He searched the water hopeing for her to break the surface before he would have to go in after her. He had already started moveing in deeper.
