Nostalgia's head stilled, as the realization hit her. Now it was all beginning to make sense, this feeling she got from the darker flutter.
"Very true... very true." she agreed, no longer worried about the aura she gave off to her female companion.
One eyebrow rose as she listened to Kochu continue speaking, curious as to her past, but resistant to discover any more than what the mare revealed through her own words.
"The past molds and forms us all." Nostalgia pointed out, giving a small smile. "Or at least, for most of us. Some of us weren't born with the option of having a past, but have to create our own by looking towards the future."
She shook her head, recalling her own past here on this world. If it hadn't been for Draven and her two darlings, she wouldn't have had a past to call her own. Just an existence.

"There is always a reason for something like that." She nodded before nickering softly. "Creating a future so that you may have something to look back on seems like an endeavor that takes a strong spirit."
She didn't know if she would have been able to go on if she had nothing to remember. Without memories it would just be like floating around useless with nothing to do but what you knew.
"I would take it then that you've found something worth making a future out of?"

"Strong or not, the results are always worth it. At least, they are in my personal opinion."
She nodded at the mare's question, her smile growing. "Yes... I have a good friend, Draven. He's helped me out during some of my... weaker moments. And I now have two darling children to care for, though they've grown up and have no need of me."
The alicorn paused, and drew quiet. "What makes you work towards YOUR future, Kochu?"

"Nothing truely but th..... wait a moment." She frowned slightly and looked at the other mare. "Draven? .... you, you're the one he was speaking of!"
She remembered the black stallion with the white face that she'd helped. He had mentioned something of someone who would come looking for him.

Nostalgia stared back at the flutter, worried that she was supposed to recognize her. "You... you know Draven? But... how would you know Draven?"
She wasn't Draven's keeper by any means, but it was unlike him to keep secrets from her. They had been companions and friends for quite a while now, and Nostalgia had come to know those he spoke with.

"I would hazard a guess that he thinks me nothing more than a dream." She laughed softly. "He was hurt by something. One of our kinds real flesh and blood demons i thing and i found him. He mentioned the Crow going off to find someone who i assume is you."
Draven had been in bad shape when he'd met her so she thought he would have taken her as a dream. It wasn't surprising that he hadn't mentioned her existence to the other mare.

She blinked, and then the story hit home. Draven HAD mentioned something odd when Crow had taken her to him, after a skinwalker had had her fun with him. She had merely thought he was hallucinating, or dreaminig up whatever he had been mumbling about. So this flutter had been with Draven before... yet she hadn't stayed around after Nos had found him?
"No... he mentioned something, but I admit to having passed over it as a dream. My apologizes, my friend, for I know now that you are real." she confessed, feeling embarrassed.

"Think nothing of it. I am used to being thought of as nothing more than a dream. Draven probably thinks of me as nothing more." She shook her head slightly and ended up with curls in her face. Ah well they could just stay there.
"It was simply a trick of fate that i found him before anyone else did"

"I don't know how he feels, to be honest." Nostalgia freely admitted. Draven was nothing more than a friend, and he could confide with her however he'd like to. It was up to him, what he'd like to keep from her, and what he'd like to share. It wasn't any of her business, and she refused to pry.
"It was a trick of fate... or perhaps a course of Destiny?" she added, wondering if the Spirits had entwined their paths together for a certain reason. After pausing, she gave Kochu another glance. "Would you like to meet Draven once again? I cannot speak for him, but knowing his personality, he would demand to again meet the one who helped him, to give his gratitude to them."

"Actually ... i would like to see him again if only to know that he is alright." She wouldn't trouble him long but it would be nice to see for herself that he'd been fixed up.
"Destiny and Fate are often twined so tight that the lines between them are invisible."

"Then it's decided. I shall take you to him."
Nostalgia smiled, and nodded her head in the direction of Draven and the children, then slowly began to make her way towards their home. If Kochu followed, she followed, and if she didn't, well... there was nothing Nostalgia could do to stop her. But she secretly hoped Kochu would follow, for Draven needed a break from just her and the foals. That seemed to be his main focus these days, and it wasn't fair to the dark stallion.
Smiling, Nos continued on, extending a silent prayer of her hopes and dreams for her caring friend.
