There are very few places that carry that type of a thing here in Ireland and they are specialist craft shops who charge a daft amount of money.
While I don't expect Ireland to have a JoAnn's (read: Big ******** Craft Store of DOOOOOOOM!) , I find a 1000% mark up to be absurd. For far less you could buy one from the states and the adaptor for the plug.
Thirty seconds on eBay uk turned one up for 30 British Pounds, and even I think that's on the high end (but it does have more tips than mine does. I suppose it evens out).
Stars and Stones! You can get an okay soldering iron on Amazon uk for maybe 4 British Pounds.
Long story short- if you wanted to get it, you'd find a way I would guess.
