my parents don't exactly get along with each other. my dad is just anoyed by my mom's um . . . how can i put it nicely . . . not well thought out moments?
i get along really well with my dad though. about the only thing i can stand doing with my mom is watching mushy movies because we are both very emotional signs.
the guy i wish was my boyfriend is a scorpio, which we supposedly go well together, but it's not likely to ever happen sweatdrop

Bloodthirstysphere I heard somewhere that the children tend to have the same ascendant as their parents' sun signs. Or just share the same sun signs. Or moon signs. One of those is usually same as the parents' sun signs. I don't know how far this is true. You have heard right. It is very true. I myself don't have my whole family's data for verification but elsewhere on other astrological sites, there have been stunning reports of the synchronity of family natal charts.

Say, how does it feel like being a water sign and all and living with 2 fiery parents? My mom is sag and my dad is aries and I'm cancer. Lolz. My sis is Earth as in Cap and my bro is the one who gets along the best with my parents, him being fire. :p My bf is an Earth - Virgo. You're so lucky you got a Scorpio as your partner! I'd love another water sign as well, though I'm quite happy with my Earth guy... hehehehe

Tobi Sapphos Whereas my brothers family... He's a Taurus, his wife is a Pisces, his step-daughter is a Cancer, and his son is due around Christmas, so will probably be a Capricorn. In this case, there will be two earth signs and two water signs! I found this to be interesting as well. I neglected to update this. My nephew was born December 15th, at 2:48 AM (central standard time). This makes him Sagittarius sun, Aquarius moon, and Libra rising. So, he ended up not fitting in the pattern of water and earth in his family. But he's so adorable! whee

Mother: Aries
Father: Taurus
Older Brother: Aries
Me!: Taurus
Grandmother on father's side: Aries
And if my oldest brother had survived his birth, he'd be a Taurus too.

Not that I don't love my mother, but since I got into Astrology I've grown to hate Aries(thus my vow to never marry an Aries. EVER.). Keep in mind there's more to astrology than just the sun sign hence all Arians aren't that identical. Heck you could run into a Taurus that acts more like an Aries if everything figures out right. (For example: Taurus sun, Aries Mercury, Aries Venus, Aries ascendant with rest of chart in fire/air signs)
