The water was depressed around him in a large bowl shaped depression, and he was floating upon a bunch of small tendrils that extended from various points on his body. He slowly shifts, turning to face Kien, his wrist extending towards him, pal facing him with hand downturned. Slowly a tendrils of organic nature slid from his wrist towards Kien, but did little as of yet. 'blaze slowly looked up to him, "To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?"

Mindblaze narrowed his eyes at him a bit oddly, he had detected the slur, and it bothered him slightly, "Is something...wrong?"

The organic tendril extended slightly to wrap around his arm and sink into the flesh on his wrist, slowly though, easy to pull back from. Mindblaze's eyes took on that glowing energy that indicated a shift from normal sight to Energy Tracking, "Something seems...wrong. I can't place it. Speak, or let my will be done."

If someone else were writing this, it'd surely turn into gay tentacle pr0n, but it didn't as the tendril squirmed under his skin, merging with his own flesh and blood, connecting to his nervous system, connecting the two for the moment in nearly all ways. Siblings in a way, literally conjoined, though not twins. He heard Kien mention he was deaf, but it didn't have to stop there. Mindblaze could see both Kien through the Energy Tracking as well as his own glowing eyes, through Kien's.

Mindblaze's thoughts pounded in Kien's head, each word creating a small pulse where the tendril connected to him, You sir, are an ineresting individual. I went for ages without sight, in a way, and you without hearing. How long...? Somewhere several Soldiers were exploding in sprays of hot pink goo.

Mindblaze chuckled within his mind, If only I had time to explore the intricacies that one calls the mind, yours more specifically. Alas, there are other matters at hand. Why have you come to this deserted Temple to seek me out in a place of solace when the base is set up and my return would be at dawn?

Pop pop pop goes the Soldiers. Mindblaze simply nodded at the mention of the stars, Aye...I too have had a fascination with them as long as I can recall. Its like...they call to me, and I am forced to obey. Sounds wierd, doesn't it?

Mindblaze chuckled once more, I call to the useful. The stars call to the worthy. Only allowing those of divine right associate with what lies beyond. I know they call to me so for a reason.
