It's not that I don't believe it, I just don't see why that would work.
I mean, microwaves just make water molecules split which releases energy in the form of heart. How the hell would that change the THC content of your bud?

from my knowledge of microwaving bud my friends and i have only done it to dry out bud if its too wet. As far as making the potency stronger this is hard to answer. weed is made up of over 60 different cannabinoids.when the water hits the THC crystals it is soaking certain ones up. The majority is within the plant itself which is next to impossible to extract unless smoking it. When the microwave heats it you are actually cooking the THC in the microwave. I am surprised the bud seemed stronger since the majority of the THC should have been burnt off to a degree. on the other side of the spectrum when you cook with weed the THC becomes stronger and thats why people always have crazy trips when munchin on brownies. So i could see why it would make the weed stronger.

girlfirend This is worth a try, but i don't see how this works out. It's something to do with heating the THC crystals, as I understand...

I don't think it works, nor do I wanna try it. o_O; I mean, I generally don't even microwave food anyway.. Plus, how would it make the weed more potent?

Heat activates THC. That is correct, but, microwaves deteriorate and break down THC. I can't find the source for the info right now because the sight got hacked and everything deleted. But when it's back up I'll post the info.

But when it's back up I'll post the info. See that only makes sense. Because you have to light weed up to get high (except if you bake it in to cookies/brownies/food of choice). Microwaves emit heat, but it's not the same heat as an oven or a lighter would produce, it's some fake kind of heat. Microwaves would break down and evaporate THC, leaving your place of residence smelling like you smoked up - then when you actually go to do so unless you're a lightweight or the strain was.. well, best of the best - the THC levels would be dropped considerably.
