Jettyguy source has gotta be one of the funnest CS though, with zombie maps and all too bad source dont hav tactical shield though xD yah I saw a video with those things, what do they do?

well its all a real personal opinion
really i think CS is harder and more challenging to play
in source the sprays and shots are much more accurate than guns in 1.6
which makes it easier and harder at the same time
easier for you to shoot
but also harder for you to stay alive
in 1.6 the bullet sprays are more spread out so you need to train yourself to control it
i really havn't gotten down spraying that well yet probably because my mouse skips alot when i drag it along my mousepad fast
also in 1.6 there is alot more spam spots than in source
so even the slightest sound could get you killed
i agree with not being able to find Half Life 1 or CS Anthology 1 anymore
but if yuo want to learn the basics of Counter Strike
play 1.6
@iFinal Fantasy Fan: you can't get 1.4 in a package with CZ and source unless you got it off of ebay
but even then when you install it you would be force to update it to 1.6
unless you mean by you first started playing cs when it was at version 1.4 and then got CZ and source later on

i'd play 1.6 if I had it. But I kinda like source a lot and 1.6 seems like it would be a lot harder. I've grown to love going Kamakazi at the start of each round because I can kill half of the other team before the first 30sec is up and really boost my KD ratio. But I don't think i'd be able to do that on 1.6 because it sounds like you have to be very silent the whole time. It actually seems like it would be more realistic than source.

The whole point of a kamakazi to get get as many people to notice you as possible and kill them with most likely getting killed yourself. Like yesterday, I was playing the office server in source and I rushed from projector room all the way to the front yard with being seen by almost every ct on the other team. So they all rushed at me with their awps and P90s and I pulled my para and took down 8 of the 13 player team, but then I was killed by an AWPer from the garage.

I rule at running/jumping and shooting at the same time. I can get headshots easily, it's when i camp that i can't get a good shot at people.

I own all the counterstrike versions, but I prefer to play source. Some of my friends have condition Zero though, so I do play that sometimes with them.
Yah, so, in short, I own 1.6 but never play it, lmao! It was free with condition zero though, so 'tis all good.

I have 1.6 and Condition Zero although both are on a separate account. I bought them in one the Steam Store packages or whatever. My friend Sam from Stickam looks like Zach Braff and one night he was digging through his s**t and found 1.6. So we had this thing where all the guy regulars would play 1.6 and the girls would play... I'm drawing a blank. But it was fun times.

I have 1.6 and Source but I prefer Source. I've never played Condition Zero before though. 1.6 runs on the original Half-Life 1 engine and Source runs on the Half-Life 2 engine. scarthman Jettyguy source has gotta be one of the funnest CS though, with zombie maps and all too bad source dont hav tactical shield though xD yah I saw a video with those things, what do they do? They make you really slow and you can only hold a pistol with them but as long as you don't get hit through the eyehole or on your flank, you won't take much or any damage. I believe they're AWP-proof as well.

Basiclly I play 1.3 and CZ not 1.6. I never get to play online with 1.3 since I would rarely see people go online. Unlike CZ, still many gamers but most are just like total n00bs n suff r0fl

scarthman that's what I thought. There was this guy online that kept saying CZ was the newest. ACTUALLY, the newest is coming out soon and its CS Online. basicly 1.6 with upgraded weapons, more weapons, more player models and the dragonoh......personally i find it funny its being put in CS cuz we already have good snipers and the maps are too small and crowded to snipe in anyways.....also its free so u dont have to buy it.......dam nexon...and their ripoffness....
