She gave him an odd look as he said no. She assumed it was because she had found him battling bugs, which was a silly scene. She however, wouldn't of found it something to be embarressed of. At his question, her brow furrowed and she glanced up to the sky, thinking. Had she ever been shy? Well, ever since se got here sh practically walked up to everyone and was all hellos.
"Mmm, I can't recall the last time I was. But it's in everyone's nature to be so at times, right?" She questioned, trying to justify her thoughts. Cosette wasn't very sure of her feelings or reactions since she elft her home. Everything was a blur. But she bet she had been once or twice.

"Course! I mean usually I ain't such a shy guy...Like meetin' new people." He said then chuckled to himself. "But I usually ain't caught messin' with them bugs. Kinda dumb ter be embarrassed over that but..." he shrugged casually and smiled at her. He looked around rather boredly. He gasped when a butterfly flew before his face. He couldn't help getting distracted and he followed it happily, trying his best to catch it.

She heard him trail off to gasp at a butterfly. At first her red eyes folowed it, and then they landed back on Copper, who was following it happily. Laughing softly, Cosette followed him, her tail flicking,
"Trying to catch it, huh? You think they like being chased?" She inquired thoughtfully. She had seen quite a few Soquili go after the pretty bugs, but always coming back empty-hoofed. Perhaps because they flew away so, they didn't like it?

"Nah, I think they're just busy, so they don't have time ter play." he said looking back at her. Then he looked back at the butterfly. He watched it until it landed on his nose which caused him to go cross eyed. He turned back to Cosette in a fit of giggles. "I think I'm stuck." he said with his eyes still crossed, focusing on the fly.

The sight of the butterfly on Copper's snout with his eyes crosseyed was priceless. As soon as she realized what was going on, she tried to hold back laughs butcouldn't hold them. "C-Copper, you're not bashful. You're just silly!" She laughed, walking over and blowing at the butterfly lightly, forcing it to fly away so at least his eyes weren't focusing on it at such a close distance.
Taking a step back, she focused on her snout, but only going cross-eyed for a few seconds before shaking her head, "Yeah, silly, silly you."

Copper blinked his eyes then shook his head and they were back to normal. Then he allowed himself to begin laughing. He wanted to let her know tha it was ok to laugh at him because he knew she'd been holding in giggles. He tried crossing his eyes again but couldn't do it because he had nothing to focus on.

((My replies keep getting shorter. Sorry! Dx Maybe e should have Copper and Cosette say their byes, and then start up another roleplay sometime? =o ))
Cosette sometimes hated it when others began to laugh, ebcause it always became a chain reaction. She too began to laugh, shaking her head to try and ward off the effects of these chain reactions. Looking at the brown-hued stallion, she offered a grin, "C-Copper," she said between giggles, beginning to walk ahead. She kept her eyes downward for a moment, collecting her scattered thoughts, "It was nice to run into you, well, more than walk in on you. You're simply a barrel of laughs."

((Yea...It didn't exactly start out as a very impressive RP. x3))
"Where 'ya goin'. Didn't think I was that silly. Guess we're sayin' goodbye now?" he asked a bit glumly. It was interesting meeting her but every now and then even butterflies and going cross-eyed made Copper bored. He supposed maybe they'd meet again, some other more exciting day. She probably had more important things to do...
