"Well that's good... I mean the not being counted as an outsider part."
A wide smile landed on his face as she mentioned the ship. "Yah! That's where my mom and dad live....." The smile faded when she mentioned Dia and he moved his gaze to the ground. "Yah... Dia was the first friend I had... he's gone now though..." Hurt seemed to wash through the young boy, the loneliness coming off in waves. He had to find a way to see Dia again.

Her smile quickly dissipated as well at this news. "Gone...? What do you mean gone?!" Clearly, she hadn't yet found out this lovely bit of information. But... that look. She knew that look all to well. That look that just spewed loneliness from every orifice. That look that tugged at her heart to see her newfound friend so sad. Quietly, she shook her head and held him a little closer-- the closest thing she could manage as a hug in this position. "No... I didn't say anything. I have Rouge's number if you... want to call her..." Her pauses further noted her regret for bringing it up. Yes, she was worried-- but there were more pressing matters at hand.

Ezhno looked at her with sad violet eyes. "He just... left. He didn't say goodbye or anything... He was just gone..." He tightened the arm that was around her shoulders and nodded. "Yah... I... need to call Rouge... I need to see Dad..." He was getting dizzy...
He reached out his free hand for the phone he hoped was on her. "I need to go home... to mom. To Lorain..."

With a small bit of one-handed shuffling in her dress pocket, the girl held out some bizarre unholy device. It was, of course, a phone of sorts; but it certainly wasn't a modern model out on the marketplace. "I'm sorry" she said softly, shifting her weight a little to counteract his movements. She wanted to say something else, but it honestly didn't seem the time for additional commentary.
