I don't think my sexuality affects my religious beliefs in any way.

Let's see... when I answered the poll about two weeks ago or so... I believed I was hetero... umm... let's just say I've found out a few things since then. I'm definately bisexual now...

I'd agree with chaoticpuppet, I was pagan before I ever realized I was bi....so it was more like, It just kinda dawned on me one day and I was like "Oh...ok then..." biggrin rather than being like "oh is that bad?" gonk
but I have a question....can some one supply a definition for "Pansexual" I've heard it before, but I dont recall what it means per se...thanx! wink
(I think I might be an emoticon whore...lol....)

chaoticpuppet from www.dictionary.com Quote: pan?sex?u?al Pronunciation Key (pn-sksh-l) adj. Relating to, having, or open to sexual activity of many kinds. n. A pansexual person. Well, in that case, is that really a sexuality? I mean you could be hetero, bi or gay, and still be pansexual....right? ::confused:: gonk

I honestly have never thought about my sexuality. I fell in love with a man, and never really thought about it outside that. ^___^ But I guess if I was gay or bi, it prolly wouldn't effect my beliefs any.

My perceived definition of the word "pansexual":
A pansexual is someone whose love/sexual desire is not determined or influenced by the particular genitals someone has (i.e. gender), maybe not even the physical body. A pansexual loves/is aroused solely by the personality of the person. Pansexuality transcends the physical, what can physically be seen, and the physical gender of a person. Gender does not play a role in 'attraction,' nor do physical characteristics (gender) inspire sexual desire. It's not the same as someone who is bisexual because a bisexual is just capable of finding either a man or a woman's body "sexy."
Sorry if that was not explained well O_o

This might not be answering your question but...
When I was leaning towards believing in the LDS (mormon) church, I found myself being slightly attracted to women (not just men)...and I suppressed that because my church was against that.
That was before I became agnostic, and decided that I shouldn't change my own personal beliefs just so I can be part of a particular religion. I don't really worry about defining my sexuality. I think I'm bisexual, (or maybe pansexual) but...it matters little...I am in love with someone. One person. (a male) But, if I ever fall out of love with him (doubtful) and fall in love with a woman...I won't be too concerned.
