Rubbing her chin once more across the top of Lily's head gently, she chuckled. "I'm glad I could help a little bit, dear. If nothing else maybe it will help you sift through all those crazy emotions of yours and put them in some sort of order."
She blinked when Lily asked for her name and tapped cheek with paw for a moment thoughtfully. "My name? Hmm. I believe... yes, yes, that's it. Naneth. That's my name." She smiled another one of those smiles that was unselfconscious in a spot where most might have seemed embarrassed. "The fevers did a number on me, I'm afraid, not everything is always as sorted out at it should be up here." She tapped at the space between her ears. "Now... what on earth should we talk about, I wonder?"

Green eyes narrowed and brow furrowed at the older female's apparantly damaged memory. The budding potions mistress did not carry with her anything that could help damage caused by fever. Such things were rarely needed. There were potions she could make that might help, but they were dificult, few, and uncertain. There were simply too many variables when it came to restoring someone's memories. It was not as easy to achieve as finding something to make someone lose their memories.
"Naneth??" The name repeated from her maw with a soft & incredulous squeak. A memory ruched over her. "So you know it's me... something I've told no one else... mother's name... Naneth..." Endless' voice, so she could be sure it was him and not Envy. She knew him enough now not to need it now...
She should have seen. Now it made sense: her shining eyes, the nightsky markings, the purple...Lily had not missed the similarities though she did not think to make a conclusion. Now she did.
Her jaw dropped, green eyes going wide. "Oh!! You're Naneth!! You're his mother! Oh my goodness! I should have seen... I mean I did see but I should have! Oh! He's going to be so happy!!"
Slipping out of the mothering female's reach Liliana fair danced upon the ground before her. Gold tipped paws rose and fell like the hooves of a parade horse eager to begin. Her green eyes were bright with happiness as she recalled her friend's kit-like cavorting at finding he had a cousin... and this was his mother!!
"Oh! Endless!! You will let me take you to him, won't you? He'll be so happy!"
Later the full effect of knowing that she had just bared her heart to Endless' mother would come barreling upon her. For the moment Lily could only be exstatic for her friend.

Needless to say Naneth was... slightly confused. Her son? Endless? But... "This Endless of yours... he looks like me? And he said his mother's name is Naneth?..." Was it... really possible? They'd only been kits, and she'd heard they all ran away from... him... not that he would have taken much care of them, but still, they were all so small... how could any of them have survived?
She pondered for a few moments. "I... I suppose you can. Is it far? My shoulder feels better now but I don't know if I'm up for a lot of walking." Her stomach rumbled slightly. "...And can I eat this lovely pie you gave me first?"
She pulled the meat-pie closer and nibbled on it before lifting her head again. "What does he look like... this Endless of yours?" She'd asked about the boys, but she hadn't thought to ask for a description earlier...

Her dancing slowed, crimson head tilting in surprise that Naneth was not more excited about this. She's had a fever, silly fool! Maybe she doesn't remember... But that would break Endless' heart. Perhaps Lily could help his mother remember on the way?
"It's a decent trek, and you shouldn't sue that shoulder too much. But we can fly, and that will take some time off the trip. I could levitate you. It won't be as hard as when I took Edward home. Or I could apparate us there. No time at all really." She was not thinking how Naneth probably would not know what apparating was. No matter. If it was asked of, Liliana could answer.
"Endless... he looks like the night sky, all dark and scattered with stars. His chest ruff and ears are purple... I nearly didn't see him against the sky when we met. And his eyes... bright and shining. they seem to glow..." Her voice was soft and faraway, her thoughts clearly traveling in that moment. "this Endless of yours"... why had she said it like that?

Naneth had been nibbling at the pie again but slowly stopped as Lily finished describing Endless. He did sound like... was it really possible? A little tear rolled down her cheek. "I... they were all so small..." Her voice had grown husky, subdued. "No one knew what became of them... aside that they all ran away from him... I thought they'd all..." Died. She stared down at the pie and then hastily gobbled it up, decided. If this really might be her child... she had to know.
She glanced up at Lily, seeing the remnants of questions in her eyes. "Did you want to ask me something, dear?" She could wait a few more moments for this impromptu reunion. She might need it to compose herself. "And I guess we can try that... what was it... apparating?"

Liliana shook her head, tears hanging in her eyes as she filled in the blanks for what the other female did not say. How sad, both of them thinking the other was gone forever! "Nothing to ask. But eat... it will do you good. We have plenty of time, if we apparate. I think Edward is discomforted by it when I take him, but maybe that's because he has not found the science in it?" She was rambling, but it gave Naneth time to eat so it worked. "I've not apparated Endless anywhere so I don't know how he'd think of it. Took Uncle Aiden and his mate Lainey to their date in a hurry and they didn't seem bothered, so it must be the magic factor that bothers Edward. There's nothing to worry about and we'll show up just outside their house. Where Endless lives. Hopefully he's there. I mean, I know he has other things to do than hang around home all the time. Maybe one of the others will know where he is if he's out. Endless, that is."
Green eyes blinked, a thought floating to the surface of her mind and setting out tiny ripples. "But you don't know him as Endless, do you? He said his cousin Iris called him by a different name... one you called him. Neb... Nebulous? Yes. Nebulous."

So... it was him. Had to be, didn't it? Too many coincidences. Naneth finished the rest of the food, mind fumbling for purchase. "Yes... that's what I named him. His... father... didn't like it, I don't know why. Probably because he was the first born and I didn't let him name him. He put up with it, though, at least... until things changed."
She finished the pie, musing softly. "Endless, though? I wonder where he picked that one up from? Perhaps it suits him better, now. I guess I'll know... when I see him."
She got up carefully and padded over to Lily, giving her as big a hug as she was able. "Thank you, dear... I guess you did help me find my way home after all?" The thought was bizarre and amusing, but not at all unwelcome. "I think I can see part of why he fell for you. Now... I've been through worse than apparating before, I'm sure, so do whatever it is you need to do."

A flush of warmth "why he fell for you"... It made her feel good. Special. But guilty too. She did not know, though he had told her. They both had. Lily had their words and reasons but she did not know though she wished she did. "I never asked them to fall..."
Then she was smiling, as if the sadly murmured words had not left her mouth. She gathered anything she had left out & scooped it away into her magical bag then clutched her wand firmly in her paw. Folding her wings & tails close to her body Liliana hugged Endless' mother close. "Just hold your tails close. Less to worry about. It will only take a moment...."
Waving her wand the two females dissaparated from the spot.
Liliana blinked at the sight of the Fierra place when they apparated before it. She had not been back since ... that day. She felt guilty for not checking in on Atae & hoped her friend was healing all right. Disengaging from the other female Lily gave a nervous but excited smile. "Well, here we are."
Lightly she padded towards the door, the efforts of her daily physical work-outs evident in her movement. "I'll knock and ask him to come out, okay? It'd be overwhelming for you to meet all his roommates at once, and ... well it's probably better, that's all."
She turned shyly to the door and knocked.

Seems Kismet was having fun tonight, because the male in question happened to be the one nearest the door when Lily knocked. He looked startled when he opened the door to see her, but anything other than displeased. "Lily? That's... that's funny, I was just wondering if you'd like to go to the beach tomorrow, instead of lessons. For... I dunno, something different to do. I've even got some of those little plastic shovels around here for playing in the sand..."
His tone was calm and friendly. A practiced thing, really, that he'd developed during the Potions lessons. There was no hiding the love and adoration in his eyes though, not having something else to distract himself with. "Er... I'm sorry, you must have shown up for something... what's up?"
Naneth listened quietly. Ah, she knew that tone so well. She'd used it once with his father, completely head over heels for him even after she realized he didn't feel quite the same. Thing had still been ok until... whatever made him change... Endless sounded more like his grandfather than his father, though.

Lily's heart caught and she stepped forward to nuzzle him in greeting, making a soft happy sound that still managed to ache lightly. She could not keep lesson's voice and behavior outside of lessons. Not if she did not have to. It just was not her.
Her ears flicked, matching the surprise in her eyes as she caught up to what Endless was saying about the beach. Although she had not thought about where or what the when was uncanny, being just what she had been thinking. "I... I'd like that. I was thinking about canceling the lesson to really spend time with you..."
Liliana's voice trailed off and if she had hands would have slapped her forehead. "oh! See how I got distracted? Got a moment, Endless? I met her... oh, you've got to see!"
Nipping at his ear lightly Liliana danced backwards, inviting him to come see with a smile that was hopeful eager & warm with love and happiness for him.

"Got distracted?..." When she nipped at his ear it sent a jolt through him that tingled pleasantly. And she looked... good... she always did. Something for him to see?... He followed her out like a blind puppy, only he could see and was having a hard time turning his gaze away. Though when he finally did his knees immediately buckled and he sat down hard, eyes looking as though they wanted to pop out of his head for a closer look. His ears flicked willy-nilly around, not sure where to settle. ".............................m-m-m-momma?
Naneth stepped slowly closer and sat next to him, curling her tails around his paws and her neck over his. "My baby... it's really you..." He whimpered slightly and she rumbled softly in response, only to be startled as he shot up and stepped away. But he turned to Lily and nudged her over, and Naneth couldn't help a small, slightly sad smile. He really wanted to share even this moment with her, no matter how private a moment to him personally.
After he had the two females close enough together, Endless attempted to curl up around both of them at the same time, but it didn't work very well. Even if Lily was small, he was only one body. But Naneth moved to curl up around both of the younger kitsu as well, so he reached what he felt was a happy medium. "Thank you, Lily... thankyouthankyouthankyou..." He wound up curled up facing Lily with his mother on the other side, tails curled over her. He nuzzled his face into Lily's neck fur. "I... I... this is... I think my brain broke again..."

He was so cute... She smiled, watching the mother & son rejoin after a lifetime. Green eyes blinked as he came back for her, and she could not deny him, soon finding herself surrounded by purple and night in an odd ball of three, giggling as she went along with their manipulations.
A soft little sigh of pleasant happiness rose from her as she curled into Endless a bit & lay her head upon his as he burrowed into her neck. "I didn't do anything special. Endless. I'm just glad you're happy."
Liliana's voice was a tender whisper, her own feelings making the words catch. "I... I'll just stay for a little while, then leave you to catch up."

"Stay as long as you like... go when you need to." It was whispered as Endless finally looked back up from where he'd buried his face in her fur. "And you brought her to me, Lily... even if it was a little thing, it means a lot..." He kissed her tenderly, lovingly, with a quiet passion, a moment longer than he'd meant to, and then repeated the gesture against her forehead. "You... everything... means so much."
He shifted reluctantly away from his startlingly tender gesture and stroked her cheek. "Um... I guess I better get her settled? There's actually not much of anyone here right now, so..." He just couldn't stop looking into her eyes, a smile playing across his maw. There was such a deep sense of peace about him right now that seemed inexplicable even given how happy he must be at the moment. "I just made some tea... you wanna come in? Bowl of tea before you go?" He'd keep her here as long as he could without making her feel like she had to stay.
((And Naneth just sits quietly for the moment to see what happens.))

The darkening of her eartips was all that showed the heat rushing within Liliana as she melted in the face of Endless' quiet passion & kissed him back. Her eyes stayed closed as he kissed her forehead, heart racing and her breath caught in her throat. She did not really want to leave. "Okay..." Lily whispered softly, green eyes opening a fraction. She would almost rather stay like they were now until she left but was not certain how to express that. Or if she should. The look in his shining eyes reminded her so much of Remus at that moment. "But not longer. You and your mother need to catch up and I... I'll be back tomorrow at lesson time."
Glancing aside a moment only Liliana caught sight of Naneth and a flicker of apprehension flashed in her eyes as their chat earlier came rushing back to her. It was too late for that now. She smiled shyly before looking back at Endless and licking his cheek. If his mother told him, she told him. Liliana held nothing back for secrets, so he probably already knew.

Naneth gave Lily a small, reassuring smile. Newfound son or not, it wasn't her place nor her nature to speak about the things entrusted to her. It was Lily's place to tell how she felt and dreamed and feared.
She chirped appreciatively when Endless - yes... Endless, not just Neb anymore - stood with obvious reluctance and moved so that she could use him to assist herself in getting up.
He helped Lily up afterward - any excuse to touch was a good one - and then ushered them inside. He led them down the hall to Atae's room but opened a different door. "I'll be right back... with tea."
At first glance it looked like a cross between an art studio and a library, and then one could spy a jumble of bedding items in one corner. Between that, Endless' scent all over the room, and the lovingly crafted miniature of Lily sleeping innocuously tucked on a bookshelf it became obvious who's room it was. Further inspection was forestalled as he returned and passed out bowls and teabags and poured hot water. He liked his tea strong, but he wasn't sure if they would.
That done he settled near them and looked from one to the other of the girls he loved most for a few moments. "...I have no idea what to say..."
