Mare looked at the ticket in her hand then back towards the dock where her parents were. They told her that they found a program that would get her talking to other teens again and stop hanging around with only pokemon. But Mare didn't believe it one bit. This boat ride was most likey sending he to a place what would ask alot of questions about why she didn't do many things with others and so on and so forth.

Shifting the bag on her shoulder she sighs and gives a little wave to her parents. No problem, she would go on this trip talk to the people that they wanted her to talk to and be back in no time at all. Well that was what she had wished.

Reading the ticket once more she looked for her room number. "32..." She looks again at the boat she was on. "I wonder how many rooms this thing has."

"Could I help you, dear? You look a little lost."

The soft, feminine voice belonged to a young woman who appeared somewhere in her late-twenties or early-thirties. She was dressed in casual slacks and a nice blouse...a blend of comfort and fashion, looking more appropriate for an ocean cruise than for a 'teen help' seminar. She had a kind smile though, and seemed eager to please. Maybe she was a recreational director or something...

Mare almost droped the ticket she had in her hand when she had heard the woman's voice. Turning to look at her she smiles a little. "I'm looking for room-" She looked at the paper again. "32" She even held up the ticket to show to the woman.

She still had her hand on her bag holding it close to her shoulder and thinking why it was so light.

"Right this way, dearie!" the woman replied cheerfully, but in a soft voice rather than one of those loud, overbearing, overly-cheery ones that one would expect from your typical 'recreational director'...or whatever she was.

She draped her arm casually around the young woman's shoulders as she guided her down the hall, past many identical doors, all numbered sequentially. "Here we are," she smiled, pausing before a door like all the others, this one labeled with a small, golden '32.' "We'll get you all settled in so you have some time to relax while we wait on the others to arrive. Feel free to unpack and get cleaned up while we wait," she continued, all the while flipping through a ring of keys before finding the right one and unlocking the door.

"Make yourself at home, sweetie," she smiled warmly, holding open the door.

Mare eyed the woman as they walked past to many doors to count. How many times did she have some chirpy woman telling her how to be happy. This woman was really differnt from all the others. As they came to the numbers before her number she smiles a little.

She waited for the woman to open the door and peers inside for a moment before smiling. "Thank you so much. I wouldn't have ever been able to find my room. All the hall in here look alike." She steped in and turned to look at the woman. "Do you know how long it will take to get where ever we are going after everyone shows up?"

The woman laughed softly, still subdued in volume even if she practically radiated warmth and reassurance. "Yes, I apologize for our sparsely decorated hallways. I thought it would be better to spend our budget on the interior rooms, so the hallway budget was the first to get cut," she smiled, leaving it to Mare to decide how much of that was only a joke.

"We're only picking up a couple passengers here, then we're making a couple more stops down the coast before the trip really begins. You have time to relax and settle in, even get freshened up if you'd like, before we meet later in the dining hall. We'll have a little get-together to meet everyone, then have some dinner. Nothing too overwhelming to begin with; we're starting off slow so you can all be comfortable on the trip." She smiled warmly once more, leaning against the door jam. "Is there anything else you need or would like to ask right now, or would you like me to leave you alone to unpack?"

Mare shakes her head slowly. "Thank you again for taking me to my room." She smiles a little. "I think I will just lay down for a bit and rest up. I didn't sleep much before I came because I had to make sure of a few things." She yawned a little but put her hand over her mouth.

She had been looking around the room as she had talked. It looked like a normal room that you might find. Nothing seemed out of place at all and she was glad. "I think I will be happy when this whole thing is over and I get to go home."

Nodding her head slightly, the woman smiled. "Sounds like a good idea. Make yourself comfortable, dear. Who knows? You might change your mind on this trip." With that, she bowed and slipped out of the room, closing the door behind her. She had other guests to welcome and the young lady really seemed to need her privacy.

Mare sits down on the bed and lets herself flop back and looks up at nothing. "Change my mind about this trip. Ya right, I want to get this over with as soon as I can." She sighs and lets her bag slip from her hand and land on the ground. "Maybe I will find a way to get this all done quickly." She mumbles and closes her eyes slowly.

Time passed and eventually, it was decided that all the guests were aboard that were coming and the ship raised the gangplank and set out from the docks. The engines roared to life once clear of the dock and set the ship on its way out to sea.

Mare didn't know she had fallen asleep until she felt the boat jerk under her and she opened her eyes. Above her was still nothing to look at other then the roof of the room she was in. She turns to look at the door to see it was still closed. She yawned for a moment before sitting up and grabing her bag from the ground. She had backed some snacks in the bag for times like this when she didn't want to go out. She opened her bag and started to poke through the things inside. Her mind also wandered off to think about what this trip was going to be like.

The intercom system that ran all the way throughout the ship crackled to life.

"First, I'd like to welcome all our guests to the ship. You're all in for a very special cruise! I'm sure it will be...life changing."

There was a pause before the male voice continued speaking.

"At this time, the guests are requested to make their way to the dining hall for a brief, but important meeting. I promise it won't take much of your time, but we need everyone to attend. Hope to see you all there momentarily so that we can discuss the plans for your stay with us."

Mare nearly jumped when the voice came over the intercom. She didn't know that the ship had one, but guess all ship did. She closed her bag and set it on the bed. Stuffing some candy into her pocket she moved towards the door.

Opening the door took a few moment to figure out. But when she got it open she peered down the halls. She guess what way to the Dining hall and went off making sure to remember what way she had come.

Luckily for Mare, the ship had clear signs posted on the walls, both of maps of the ship and arrows pointing towards various locations, like the dining hall. Other cruisers were exiting their rooms and filing down the hallway to the staircase leading to the dining hall below. They seemed to be gathering rather quickly, though most of them were probably just hungry and ready to get something to eat.

Mare didn't know how many others were on the ship with her. She looked at them as she walked. Looked like a alot of other people that she didn't want to really talk with. She kept her hand in her pockets and kept her eys on the signs leading the way. She was not sure if she wanted anything to eat now that she was moving around.
