Haha...ok well trying to come up with ideas here for master and toon, but kinda sleep deprived and blaaaaaaah, here's my cop out: Toon/Master - me being too lazy to decide between the two, triangle story! Player 1 - Kaiba, Player 2 - Pegasus and Otogi. Setting, work related convention or gala, more social outing. Don’t have many more specifics than that. I'm still trying to come up with something else though!! I swear, and also not both of them together, like I said, total cop out, haha. This was my puppyshipping one, way more specific, of course, since I was TRYING to do the other two, I of course come up with some crazy long thing for this: Puppy - Ok Inescapable You meets Saw (those are the inspiration anyhow) - Jou and Kaiba end up in the same death trap (maybe other characters too, depending on who wants to play what, and they can always be introduced later, as exempting Saw 1, most of the games become a laid out adventure that keeps progressing room to room, challenge to challenge, terror to terror) and are forced to either work together or die. Though torn between more of given the option to save the other or not and I guess only the story will tell whether or not they are forced to save themselves or the other. Blah, this sounds awful, haha…but scenario/descriptions are my fail ~_~. Anyhow begins in first trap:
Seto and Jou awake slumped over this odd wooden box, with a large pendulum blade hanging over them, set right over a slit in the middle of the box. Revealed when they both stand up. Their right arms are trapped in a box, connected to each other by a very short chained pair of handcuffs. To Seto’s left and Jou’s right there is a brick wall (it touches the edge of the box, there is no leaning away that way), behind each of them is a wall of spikes, and to the right of Seto, left of Jou there is a small corridor of space that leads to a metal door.
(discussion, confusion, talking, etc occurs?! Insults razz )
One of them will try to move towards the door, arms bound they won’t get far, but the movement trips a wire on the floor setting off the tape recording (if you don’t know the premises of saw at all let me know and all summarize anything that’s confusing). The creepy voice announces: blah blah blah (whoever trips the wire gets to write, hehe) to the effect of neither would hesitate to stab the other in the back blah blah blah, the choice stab yourself in the back or literally hand your hand over to your foe (pretty much they’d have to lean back enough, they would get cut, to pull the cuffs taunt, when the pendulum blade falls a minute later it’ll cut through the chain - freeing them, the cuffs have to be taunt through the middle though or else one or both will lose a hand. The blade will also fall on a button at the bottom of the box which will open the door at the side of the room, which probably needs to be mentioned somewhere in the blah blah). Make your choice, the clock starts now.
((if none of that makes sense I’ll do crappy paint sketches to demonstrate, they will be AWFUL but I think I can get the point across))
After they get out (unless we don’t let them get out and kill them off in the beginning of the story and thus shortest roleplay ever, hooray stressed ), they proceed to the next room (and traps/challenges/introduction of new characters will be decided at the discretion of whoever is writing the rps way into the next room).
Also, it’s true that most traps in Saw are usually fatal, either one person has to die, or even if everyone can live, the consequence for failing to escape is usually death, for someone, however this is not Saw, this is…something else, haha. Anyhow traps can get more fatal as the game/story progresses. As well as the development of who might be behind this, I have no ideas for that but we could plan that out going in if you’d like to develop more of a back story first. I’m trying not to be too presumptive, but sorry if I’m not being enough? Uhh...yea...dunno how you feel about that at all sweatdrop , haha, but yea if you hate that no worries I'm still working on better ideas, I swear. I just feel like it's been too long and that I should post something so that it doesn't look like I'm just full of it and really twiddling my thumbs. I mean I guess if you totally love that for some reason and it speaks to you and it's not just my sleep-deprived delusions making that awesome then ok, haha. But yea, it's only 11:00 but I've been falling asleep for hours, and I had coffee at 4pm today too, what the heck!! So yea I gotta go sleep, ugh, so behind on sleep, and I will think more tomorrow!

Okay, for Toon or Mastershipping, sounds like a good start, but we'd definitely need to bring more to it. At least from my roleplay experience, I've found that the best thing to keep RPs going is to have a villain. Whether it be someone who, like in a slasher movie, just keeps coming back after being seemingly defeated with new ways to bring problems to the characters, or just bad coincidences of new bad guys coming in over and over again, having such a villain definitely keeps things more dark and interesting, and often gives something to throw a wrench into the romance so it doesn't get too sickeningly fluffy. So maybe a murder could happen at the work convention or something, or someone is kidnapping people? The Saw one is definitely more detailed and interesting. :3 I can't say I'm super super for it, because I'm really bad at coming up with those kinds of puzzles and such, but I could see myself enjoying it, and would be fine giving it a try if you were really looking forward to it. I'm pretty sure I get how the puzzle works by your description. And I've never seen any of the Saw movies, but I do know the basic premise at least. Also, if you really are struggling with coming up with ideas, I do have a couple Puppyshipping ideas I've had laying around for quite some time, one based on a fanfiction I started back in junior high (though at this point the plot is modified to be much better), and the other an RP I started with a friend, but she stopped updating on me after a few posts. So yeah, if you need some more plot bunnies, I at least have a couple Puppyshipping ideas. XP

Yea, I was thinking something like that, rather than strict triangle one of either Pegasus or Otogi would be up to no good, and both would be suspicious...dun dun dun. Triangles are much more fun with an evil third ^_~.
Haha, because I had this weird dream I had details, but I'm not totally attached to it, and yea I'd like to hear your plot bunnies. Because I'm trying but I'm really running dry. I like this one quote, Writers Block: When your characters get fed up with all you put them through and go on strike. Unfortunately as fun a quote as that is it's not exactly fun to really be stuck for ideas.

Ooh, that is quite interesting. :3 Ahahaha, that is a positively wonderful quote! XD Anyway, um, couple ideas are both pretty involved with occult types of stuff. Weird coincidence, because I don't generally roleplay occult, but I am quite interested in it.
First one: Alternate Universe. Blue Eyes and Red Eyes are two dragon gods, Blue Eyes a 'good' god (wanting to bring peace and prosperity to the world, help humans benefit each other, teach patience, very Kisara-like stuff), and Red Eyes being an 'evil' god (wanting to spread chaos, cause humans to fight in wars, shed blood). Both of these gods have the desire to mold humanity into what they want it to be, but are not powerful enough to directly manipulate the world. So instead, they use spirituality and cult religion (speaking in dreams, convincing followers, etc.) to build a following of worshipers. By this point, the dragons are a bit more aware of each other, and are somewhat competing to influence the world more fully first. Their cult followers become competitive, killing off each other's members and such. It gets to the point where the dragons combine their powers with their followers and create a ritual that will allow them to sire a child in the human world. These children are, of course, Kaiba and Jounouchi, Kaiba being under Blue Eyes and Jounouchi being under Red Eyes. The dragons have plans to raise the two to grow up among their cult, eventually taking leadership. On Kaiba/Jounouchi's eighteenth birthdays, their power reaches its full potential as sons of dragon god... things, and they are able to summon their dragon parent god into their bodies and fuse with it, becoming living gods on earth that can then proceed to take over humanity. So since this was original a fanfiction, it began with Jounouchi reaching his eighteenth birthday. He grew up in more of a 'gang' environment with his cult. They ran around the streets and lived in abandoned warehouses and such, and acted more like a gang than a family. He found Shizuka abandoned as an orphan when they were both young, and took her in and raised her, so she's the only 'family' he considers himself to have. He eventually becomes the leader of his cult. Kaiba, on the other hand, his cult is more like a business. They consider bringing Blue Eyes into power as a 'company goal' and work efficiently to gain that. The Blue Eyes cult actually founds a corporation that they use to gain funds for their organization. They are much better organized and have more members in their cult, but the Red Eyes cult has the advantage of Jounouchi being born first. Therefore, he has the potential to fuse with Red Eyes before Kaiba and fuse with Blue Eyes. Kaiba also has Mokuba as his brother still, though they are half brothers, as Mokuba's mother is the same woman who acted as a means for Blue Eyes to sire Kaiba. So back to where the story starts off, Jounouchi is turning eighteen, and his cult is preparing the ritual. Jounouchi was raised his entire life to believe that Red Eyes is the supreme being, they need to bring him to earth, Jounouchi is meant to be his vessel, etc. etc. But Kaiba and his cult have been preparing for this day, and end up invading the ritual and stopping it, kidnapping Jounouchi so he can't be used in the future. After that, the fanfic was pretty much about Jounouchi at first being forced to live with Kaiba (Shizuka joining them, though I don't recall how), while Kaiba tries to convince him (for business purposes, of course), that he has been brainwashed throughout his life, and that Red Eyes is a despicable being and all of that. Eventually, Kaiba needs to confront his own possibilities of being brainwashed. Even though his cause seems more noble, he has always only seen it as an emotionless goal that he was raised to head towards. He doesn't have any actual attachment to his cult or to Blue eyes. So it's about the two learning to detach themselves from what they were raised to be, while at the same time, Jounouchi's cult is trying to track him down, and Kaiba's cult is preparing to do the ritual that will fuse Kaiba with Blue Eyes. And eventually, the two start to have feelings for each other as well, making them question what really is most important in life.
Second one: Takes place after the Egypt Arc. This one is a little less developed, considering it was just an RP that got about two pages in, but I really did like the idea. There is a demon that feeds off of the misery of humans. He is unable to sustain himself without a pact binding him to the world, so in order to gain power, he allows people to summon him with blood, and uses that blood as a sealing pact for him to do one favor for the one who summoned him. The favor must involve bringing misfortune to someone. So the demon was summoned at one point by a woman who was envious of Kaiba's performance at school in comparison to her son, years ago before the death of Kaiba's and Mokuba's parents. The woman wanted to bring misfortune to Kaiba, and so the demon possessed a bottle of wine. Someone who drunk the wine ended up being possessed by the demon, and then drove to crash into Kaiba's parents' vehicle, killing them. So the demon caused Kaiba and Mokuba to become orphans, messing up a good portion of their lives. After that, he got the misery he was seeking, and disappeared back into the demon world until another pact could seal him to the human world. Years later, to present day, and Hirutani has summoned the same demon to get revenge on Jounouchi. The demon leaves to go investigate Jounouchi and figure out the best way to bring him misery, but then notices that he is rivals with Kaiba, the kid who he was summoned to ruin so long ago. The demon becomes interested and, going against his own rules, begins to haunt both Kaiba and Jounouchi, instead of immediately trying to bring misery to the latter. Eventually, Kaiba and Jounouchi catch on that they both seem to be being haunted by the same thing, so begin investigating together. Also in time, the demon begins his work against Jounouchi by killing his mother; she trips over a wine bottle and falls down the stairs. (wine is a big theme in this RP, as the blood the demon takes as an offering is considered his 'wine') This puts Shizuka into Jounouchi's father's custody, which seems like a good thing at first, except that Jounouchi's father is a horrible man who is abusive. Not wanting Shizuka to be hurt by him, Jounouchi leaves his apartment with her, trying to find a means to get by while dealing with this demon wreaking more and more havoc.
Aaaaaanyway... *deep breath* That it! =D If you're not into those ideas at all, that's fine. XD Just hope I can get your plot bunnies back or something.

Yea, but it's not very fleshed out, although we could wing it. It'd be a surprise! hahaha
Yea, I love that quote...just sucks when I suffer through it ~_~.
Ok, I don't know that I could do the first one, especially as Kaiba because the last thing I'd want to be part of is a good God, haha. I mean patience is a virtue, but it's never been one of mine ^_~.
With the second, how exactly does the demon work in the roleplay? And whose Hirutani, revenge for what?
If I don't think of anything else in the next couple of days though I think I'd like to give that a try though.

That'd be interesting. XD Winging it seems to only work out half the time though. Haha, fair enough. XD I just kind of see it more as like how Kaiba Corporation is a happy good thing for kids and such, and Kaiba runs it with such seriousness and such. So even though this cult would be about a 'good' god, Kaiba would mostly just be running it for his own reasons. When I started the other roleplay with a friend, I would play the demon, though I really didn't get to flesh it out much with the few posts we had. We could always alter how it works; I'm open for suggestions. Hirutani was that guy from the early manga that used to be Jounouchi's gang leader. He would want revenge because Jounouchi left his gang, then was forced to rejoin, then attacked one of the gang members, so they tortured him, but then Yuugi saved him and electrocuted all of the gang members. Then later they tried to get revenge on Yuugi and Jounouchi by attacking them with yoyos, but Jounouchi managed to beat up Hirutani, and Yuugi caused all of the other gang members to fall off a roof. Alright then. =D I'm still open-minded for other ideas, so just take the time you feel you need.

Yea, maybe, I mean I can BS my way through anything, I am the BS master. Just need to get started, and if I have someone pushing me it makes it easier. Like I got a comment on my zombies story today that had I not been at work would have me rushing to go write, and I'm probably going to do it tomorrow because of it. But yea, it'd be easier to get something off and going if it's more fleshed out, I'll see what I can think up on that or anything else while I work on my fic...get into a zone ^_~.
But seeing Jou in some evil cult, and dedicated to it just seems so weird. I mean even when he was in a gang he had qualms about it. Which on that thought got me thinking that's who Hirutani was right before I read that you wrote that. I remember who he is/what he looks like, just never stored his name. I did read the early manga, which was fun, and weirdly a lot of why I like Shaadi, hahahaha. Don't even ask. Although had I read it before watching the anime I might not love Seto so, he was very one dimensional in the beginning which made how much of a jerk he was a little harder to swallow at first. However, I was already in love, so flaws be damned!
Anyhow yea, I'll see what I can come up with tomorrow and/or admit defeat on my brainstorming for now...did I mention I can always BS on a given topic, not just always BS into my own topic stressed .

I am a superb BSer with somethings, like when explaining the 'meanings' behind my art. A lot of it is made up on the spot. XD;; Good luck with your zoning. XD Mm, but see, a lot of the 'dedication' was more like the kind of confused obligation Jounouchi felt towards his gang in the manga. This cult is his family after all, and he was raised to believe in it, like how his dad is a horrible person in the series, but he doesn't leave him, and continues to work to pay for both of them to survive. That's part of what the plot would be about though, people convincing Jounouchi that this gang isn't right, and he would be up for changing himself in time. I loved the old manga. XD It was so dark and awesome. But yeah, Kaiba failed in the manga, and I remember reading it and being kinda, "Ugh... poor Kaiba is such a creeper in this!" but at least he improved as time went on. XD;; I really liked how Jounouchi, Honda, and Anzu were portrayed though. Yay for BSing! Maybe you would be good at playing the demon then. XD;;

Yea, but I mean obligation to family within normal constraints and obligation to supernatural evil aren't quite the same kind of mentality. I mean someone whose likely to stay with an abusive parent and do whatever they can to take care of that family still aren't necessarily likely candidates for devil worship. It just seems to high a level of "evil," for Jounouchi, I mean sure he has his hardened gang side but underneath it all he's still soft. Anyhow that plot does seem better suited for fic than rp.
Yea, I liked the old manga too, and other than Kaiba I pretty much did like everyone in it. Maybe not Yami no Yuugi as much, though he was at least super funny in an evil twisted way.
Oh right, and that had been my other thing, how the demon worked, if he was a character played by one or a force that each rper would have to work with. Anyhow if he's a character sure. And on that I think the muses are going to be on hiatus for awhile, so if you'd like, I'm willing to give your second rp idea a go. The demon kind of makes me think of a Trickster, though Tricksters don't have to be summoned, but other than that still sounds like barrels of evil vindictive fun ^_~.

Fair enough. Jounouchi didn't necessarily worship the evil god so much in the original fic though. XD;; I tweaked that since writing it way back when; he actually hated the gang and only stayed in so he could keep Shizuka out of the streets. I thought that seemed a bit extreme of a way to react to 'your family' though so went to the other extreme. Maybe I'll consider more of a middle ground, because he's definitely still the soft Jounouchi on the inside. razz Oh, I definitely liked the old Yami no Yuugi better. XD Consider I'm not much of a YnY fan of the normal variety, the insane version was at least entertaining. Yeah, I don't really care how the demon is worked out, so whatever you think would work the best. XD;; I'm actually not very good at playing those types of characters though, just as a warning. Sweet, yeah, I'm willing to retry this RP then. Who shall set up the thread? I might be able to find the original opening, though it was on Solia, which I haven't been on in forever. X_x And the demon wasn't really based on any particular set mythology so... yay for free reign. XD;;

Haha, I originally loved Yami no Yuugi (and on the basis of that still do, go nostalgia and an inability to let go), but he does get tiring as the series progresses. Though LK makes him fun for me again ^_~.
You can set up the thread if you like, especially as my one weakness is titles...and I'm totally cool with playing a demon, I like demons twisted . And yea I would prefer it not to be set on any mythology either (was just pointing out more of a personality similarity than a set being similarity), just so I don't feel bad if I feel like breaking away from set tradition - because mythological beings have rules. One of my favorite quotes from SN, it's an episode where they are actually battling people not monsters. And they are saying demons, spirits, they have rules - people are just crazy!

I am quite fond of LK's Yami no Yuugi. XD Sweet, I already have a title then. :3 Alright then, awesome. I'll post it right now. Managed to find the old thread, so I can just copy and tweak that. I also have the first post of the exchanged between Hirutani and the demon, so if you don't mind me 'playing' the demon on that first part, then perhaps it could give you an idea on this guy's personality and you can take over from there? If not, that's fine, and I'll just put the synopsis. :3

No actually that's great, because I'm not sure where to start with the demon but it probably should start. So yea I'll wait for you to get that up, since I'm exhausted anyhow...blah...worked at the high school - the main high school - for the first time since last June. I like it better because I'm rarely bored because with 4000 students there is just SO much more to do. But I am really tired now. Then I come home to the power being out, just got it back about an hour ago? Not fun.
Also is there a certain date? I mean you have the ages and what age they are about to turn in the next coming whatever, but since I'd feel there is a certain line up to what the age relations are there is a certain time in the year it is now. Which of course might not be too relevant except to determine exactly whose older and sorry I'm confusing myself ~_~.

Okay, awesome. I'll post that tonight then, and after that, we can maybe PM back and forth our character choices... like you pick someone, PM that to me, I'll choose someone next and PM that back to you, and we'll go back and forth until all the characters are taken? Hopefully we can end up getting that done on a time we're both on so it won't last days. XD;; I already gave you Kaiba and myself Jounouchi, assuming that won't be a problem. Yes, the date is April 21st, at least as the RP begins. I believe I put that in one of the notes on the first post. XD;; I don't have a year, because I have no idea when YUU*GI*OU actually takes place, but it's the year after Atem left and went to the after life. The age thing isn't really so significant in that it is really just there for my own obsessive-compulsive reasons.
