My Hollow I want some decent Death Metal, no crappy recording, and they must be mainstream enough to where i can buy an album online. Oi, try to keep the lyrics away from torture, I'm not a huge fan of the gory lyriocs. Er... what about the fathers of Death metal? I speak, of course, of Death. Their Spiritual healing and Human albums are SAID to be some of their best work, but I honestly prefer Individual Thought Patterns.

Digital Malevolence Its pretty hard to necro something thats been stickied to the top of a page....... THIS. Oh, that reminds me: If Death aren't the founders of the Death metal genre (originally known as Death's metal because of them being one of the first bands to bring that style to the world) then.... who is? Please don't say Vemon, I can't STAND Venom.

Please don't say Vemon, I can't STAND Venom. Possessed. Notice the watchword "hailed." In truth, there was a scattering of largely forgotten thrash bands, mostly in the US and Germany, experimenting with the downtuned guitars and harsh (well, relatively speaking) vocal style typical of DM in the early '80s. Possessed were just lucky enough to title their demo with a catchy, emblematic name that could be easily applied to the movement as a whole. Of course, it's much easier to just say "Possessed did it" than have to rack one's brain for a handful of extremely obscure bands and long-defunct magazines. Hell, I can't recall any names off the top of my head.
tl;dr: This, with qualifications.

Even in the United States, Death wasn't necessarily the first full death metal band. They formed/released demos in the same year as Necrophagia, and Necrophagia got their first full-length out a couple months earlier than Death did.
You could argue that some of those European groups at the time, and even Possessed, were still thrash but just heading into death metal. Necrophagia were unquestionably death metal, though.

Necrophagia?
Huh..... sadly, as long as I've been listening to Death Metal, it seems I have a lot to learn. I've never even heard of them, yet I worship Chuck Schuldiner like a god. :/

I've never even heard of them, yet I worship Chuck Schuldiner like a god. :/ Don't worry yourself too much about it. Death are a great band. They were a very important part of early death metal. It's just that they weren't alone and they weren't the origin of it all. That doesn't stop them from being awesome. A song from Necrophagia's first album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75TtyqrJPc0&
