I was right! (I think. I forgot what we were even debating about xD Time to reread the posts)
The Fay we know is really Yuui, and the dead twin is Fay.
Which brings about the question...WHERE the hell did Wikipedia get the name "Foy" from? Did they see the twin's name as "Fay" and think it was a mistranslation of "Foy"? I mean...Foy is nowhere near "Yuui". o_O Or is there another Foy I don't know about?
ZOMFG. I went to AnimeNEXT and I SAW TWO FAYS! (cosplayers, duh xD) heart And the girl Fay won a prize for her costume! heart

(cosplayers, duh xD) heart And the girl Fay won a prize for her costume! heart foy was never a name... it was just a way to identify his twin, before we actually found out a name for the convenience of not using 'fay's twin' all the time, and given how much speculation there was about him, it's safe to say that it was created within reason. and yup poor ol fay acting as a chess piece, his destiny to kill kuro if he ever got in the way... man that sucks

Egads! FRIEND FIGHT! ...D: God knows what this will do to the KuroxFay shippers. Then again, this may all just be more fanservice to them, because I'm pretty sure there's going to be a make-up scene after this ninja

I honestly have to say that at first, I thought Sakura and Syaoran got the raw end of the deal. Then when Kuro-rin's past came into the picture... I just wanted to cry for the big guy. Yet then they had to turn around and add an even more twisted and angsty past for Fai/Fay/Faye and I just had to bawl. There... CLAMP officially did it and actually came up with a character I love... and then turned around and just came up with hit after hit for him
While he never really used his magic, the first hit was when he did actually begin to use it. Then, he lost his eye and almost his life. They next made him a vampire with Kuro as his food source(which I was actually happy about). Then he killed Sakura(rather it looked like it). Next, Fai turns out to not be Fai at all, but his twin, and they had to go back to Celes and all hell broke lose. Now... theres a second curse that will possibly add even more pain for the boy and I just have to ask...
CLAMP, haven't you done enough to him!?
Okay, I think I've said enough. Oh... and if the name and avi didn't show it... I love the boy.

hmm.. i think sooner or later , Fye gonna kiss Kurogane one way or the other . CLAMP style ^^V
-till the latest manga Kurogane & Fye past have been told . Now just wait for syaoran and sakura past story .

I have to say, other than that Fai is a SEXY BEAST! that clamp has it in for the main characters eyes
1. poor watanuki in xxxHolic
2. Fai(who looks better with the eyepatch(he looks mysterious/dark and exotic))
3. that clone syaoran who WILL get his/fai's eye taken out and given back to its owner-that theif! couldnt eaven get his OWN power so he STOLE IT FROM FAI!!!! evil stressed gonk *sharpens katana* will Kill the Infidel!!!

I felt so sorry for Fai when I read the parts, where he gets attacked by the clone Sayoran up to when they head back to Celes. I also read in wikipedia about him and his twin. It was SO SAD!!!! crying

The group found out in one of their journeys that you can't bring anyone back to life, no matter how much you want them to.
Shouldn't Yuui have realised this by now?? eek

What he didn't want to do was ACCEPT it as truth..
But I mean... before, he was blinded by his absolute hope that Fai could somehow be brought back to life, restored to his former self before he plunged from the tower and died. Fei Wang Reed instills a sense of hope in him when he manipulates him as a child, during the night he escapes the valley and Ashura comes to pick him up and raise him, etc.
I think Yuui (our Fai; I still call him Fai.. <3) has finally accepted his twin's death, and he's letting him lay to rest in peace now. If you've been keeping up with the chapters so far, 166 shows us this.
...Mm. Kuro and Fai make up. 8D
(just. no kissing yet. DDD: damn yoo, CLAMP - of course it's on purpose!)
