They're all names that don't really mean anything anymore. Punks don't really exist in society today, ANYONE who shops at Hot Topic is a goth, and emo kids are everywhere. stare

Punks are funny, i like to spend time with them sometimes.
Emos are... awfully cute xd but i'm sadist so, I feel like hugging them so much so they can die O.o it's weird i know, but that's how i feel about emo guys rofl

Emo is a cheap knock-off of goth.
Get this straight: Gothicism is not devil worship. As a matter of fact, it really originated as warding off evil spirits and such with their spikes and elaborately creepy designs. Black clothing was included in this practice [Hence the Notre Dame in Paris with their ugly gargoyles]. It is also illogical to say that gothics are devil-worshippers when the Notre Dame is also under the Roman-Catholic empire.

punk is much older than emo, and is not even in the same category, it's as different as country and rap, the two should not be compared as such. Additionally, emo is just another fad, it's not a genre of music, and it's not a lifestyle. While there may be about 1% of true emos, the rest are just preps too p***y to be goth.
