Skule nodded absently at Szalka's statement; he'd probably forget, or think better of it, but not eating for a few days? Especially when she was to perform the ceremony? She'd have to keep her strength up somehow... But the beta didn't want to force her, so he left it at that, and turned his head between the Alpha and the Shaman, listening intently to their words.
"Swarthy vermin by the sea, they'll take any chance to improve their standings... one shouldn't be too trusting around them. Maybe we should also assemble a guard of sorts? Just in case things should go amiss." He turned this question more towards Irons, his tail wagging gently, coat glistening in the moonlight.

Irons paused for a moment to consider this before nodding, "That would be wise. The hunters are strong, but they could always use extra strength. A set of guards would be most useful to us. For now, all the wolves are to act as such when they are not pre-occupied by other tasks. Perhaps also... a meeting with these pirates. Though I doubt it will help, discussing their motives... or at least uncovering some would come in handy. A good suggestion, from you both." At least now, he supposed, Irons could not be said to have not attempted to make peace with the Shaman.
He did, he supposed, have to form some kind of bond with her if the arangement was ever going to work. Though her insolence still annoyed him, it could easily been smothered out of her personality later.

"Now then, I shall take my leave and rest up for the ceremony tomarrow. Good night, Skule... Irons..." She said gently as she turned and slowly made her way to the spot she had claimed as her own little nook in the territory. She was nervous about tomarrow. Now about the event, but what she might see. Her visions had become increasingly confusing, and she was sure tomarrow she would be struck with more, and they would do little to make it easy for her to tell what was to come of her.

Irons merely nodded to her and slipped over towards Skule, "Leave her tonight... I want nothing to go wrong in the ceremony tomorrow. No distractions tonight at all... that way she'll be focused... whether that's to curse us or to bless us is yet to be seen. Goodnight." He then walked off, in his own deep thoughts.
Would Ieona rest in peace after that night? It would be nice... but at the same time, without her he knew his drive would lessen significantly. Perhaps it was best that her voice and past words stayed with him. He knew he could never fail with her on his side.
