Did he really feel like dealing with Lunathiel? ... No. That surge of anger, though, and protectiveness had led him in that direction. It was a direction he didn't need to take. "Alright, Safi. I won't go talk to her. Maybe Amoena will find me. I sure as hell don't know where to go to find her." Not that he didn't think that Safi could arrange that. He probably could, come to think of it.

Wow. That was a lot to take in. Again. His brother sure had a knack for sending him reeling, didn't he? "Huh. So, let me get this straight... none of these foals are yours by blood, but you raised them as your children? Okay." That was about as normal as being the blood father to a foal and not raising him or her. Just like Kohana. He'd be a hypocrite (after a fashion) if he thought Safi strange. "They sound like good kids."

Rather like how his kids sounded like good kids? He'd never know until he met them. He decided to reserve judgment until that moment. "Alright, Saf, you've got me interested. When am I going to meet these children of yours?" Adopted or not, that still made him their Uncle. Hmm. He wondered if his brother would ever have any blood children. Maybe not. He already had two foals. Granted, they were probably grown up by now, but he'd still had the experience.

Somehow, Safi wasn't surprised at Kohana's decision. Had he himself been in his brother's place, he doubted he'd even have considered talking to Luna. Hell, he hadn't been able to talk to Inali yet after their...incident, and that was a mutually conscious experience and, as far as he knew, she wasn't attached to anyone. And there were no kids, which meant a LOT less complication. "I think I might be able to help you out at least a little, Koho; these wings do more than make me look sexy, I'll have you know."

Nodding solemnly, he flicked out his wings in a borderline stretch, then laughed. "Trust me, I believe in family togetherness, and we can't be together if we don't try! Just call me the Reunitor! Or Safi, which can mean the same thing in certain contexts." Like now, for example.

He couldn't hide the smugly proud look that Kohana's praise of his children brought about, though. "Well, I've done my best by them, and I like to think that they turned out alright. As for you meeting them...well, it's all a matter of timing, I suppose. When are you free next?" Sai, at least was good at making it back at regular intervals, and provided he hadn't gotten tangled in a tree, Kileyo made an effort as well. They could do with some family bonding, after all!

Safi was a nut. A real, honest to god nut. Crazy. But that was okay. He was Kohana's brother, and that meant a lot more than a little insanity. "Sure, whatever you say, 'Reunitor'. Do you want a cape to go along with your super hero name?" Man, he was larger than life, or rather, he acted like he was. Silly wind. "Who told you your wings make you look sexy?" he teased, finally feeling a bit playful himself. It seemed that his brother's presence calmed him down some, and cheered him up a bit.

All to the good. "I believe it. After how good you did helping me out with Kwahu, I can imagine that your kids turned out great." And no doubt just as crazy as he was. Or was it eccentric? Perhaps. He smiled slightly, kind of amused by it all. Things were going a lot better than he'd expected. He truly had thought he'd be spending these moments wallowing alone by the creek. Speaking of which... he was still rather thirsty. He walked the little way towards it, and took a drink.

"Free time is pretty much all I have now, Saf." And it was true. By himself, he didn't really have anything he had to do. He ate, drank, slept, and went for walks. Boring. The runs were better, but still, his life was lacking luster. Nothing that he couldn't take a break from. Besides, all of those things he had he could also have while spending time with his family. A little quality time wouldn't hurt anything. It might even help.

"Nah, a cape would get tangled up in my wings and would ruin the image. And geez, Kohana, where have YOU been? EVERYONE knows that wings are sexy!" Safi was obviously teasing by now, but given that Kohana was doing the same, he felt that it was more than appropriate. That was what siblings were supposed to do, right? Tease each other? "I bet you're just jealous."

Seeing Kohana move towards the water reminded Safi that he too had had a purpose in coming this way originally, and he quickly followed suit, stepping daintily up to the water and taking a drink. "We'll have to see, won't we? But you know..."

Lifting his head, Safi gave his brother a thoughtful look. "If we're doing a gathering, Kwahu should come along! I bet the kids would love to meet one of their cousins...well, for Kileyo anyway. And I bet Sai would love to meet a cousin she can get along with." Quick amendment there, just for the sake of truth. "Where IS Kwahu keeping himself these days?" He'd like to see his nephew himself, truth be told, and now it was HIS turn to be nosy.

"Yeah, that's it Safi. I'm jealous." Kohana rolled his eyes and pushed his head against his brother's shoulder. Ridiculous creature. "Come on. Of course I'm not jealous." He grinned, though, in a much better mood than he had been before. "Why would I be jealous of a bundle of feathers like the ones you carry around on your back, hmm?" Maybe because his dad, his brother, and his son had them? Of course not. That could never be it.

Thinking of his son, the stallion smiled again. "Well, most of the time he's back up at the teepee in the mountains. The one I started to stay in long ago. He comes down here for fun, though. Do you want to go find him?" And then they could have a family get together. Oh joy. Yeah, he was totally excited about that prospect, really he was. "If Sai can't get along with Kwahu, she probably can't get along with anything. And since I doubt that, I think they'll probably be fine."

Yes, Kohana could deny things all he wanted, but Safi knew his game. Yup, it was likely the most regretted element of Kohana's life, that instead of bearing regal and noble wings, being able to brush the sky, cross mountains and rivers in a single leap, instead of looking undeniably studly, Kohana was earthbound. Yup, that was a sorrow. A FAKE sorrow, but a sorrow nonethless.

Grinning, Safi took full advantage of his wings to swat at Kohana's nose as his brother nosed him, clear evidence of the appendages' use. One couldn't use their nose for everything, as Kwahu undoubtably knew as well. "I as in, me myself, or I as in, you and me? I'd love to go and fetch him either way; that brat owes me a visit. Imagine, him growing to adult and then cutting off like that! It wounds me to the core, you know!"

Yeah, and he was the doting father of a dozen.
