That is true. It does have snowmen that almost curse at you for making their heads too big though.
At least Gaia doesn't grow weeds when you leave it alone for awhile.

You should at least try it, TP, as it's not really that bad.. it's just not really that good either - much like the real life fishing. If you can get decent items from it it'd be a whole lot better, but even then it'd still just be clicking a few times and moving the mouse a bit.. which isn't interesting.
Only costs 125g if you wanna be Mr. Cheap and try it. =p

1. Fighting against the fish usually loses it, but not in this. You're supposed to fight it to keep it in the area
2. Real fishing isnt limited to a thin area. You've got your whole line to mess with
3. Boots and cans dont fight
4. Bait isn't infinite. You have a set amount, after so long you need to get more. In this you can fish as much as you want with a single bit of bait, but when you leave you've lost the bait.
5. The line doesnt come to you all the time, it goes with the wind and current.
6. Fish dont swim for land when they get hooked.
Not realistic at all. That and it's less interesting than real fishing 3nodding

It's supposed to be a fun little minigame. Even if you only break even, I'd say it's worth it.

I'm not playing for a profit. I'm too lazy to be bothered with stuff like that. I don't even remember how much I spent. I'm playing because it's fun and the fish are cute. I haven't sold any of the fish, I'm keeping them, for now at least. xd
