Irons just shook his head, not liking to think about his mother, or her narrow eyes staring into his.
Irons, you will rule this pack. If you don't, I'll kill you myself. He shook his head again, getting her voice out of his head. Best not to think about Ieona. No need to get worked up over a dead wolf. He had loved her, that was all there was too it. And she had, in her own way, the only way she knew, perhaps, loved him. And he would never feel that again. Laughter was far more likely than love.

Kei cried more. Its was wrose then he thought. His own mother took all the love away from him.. Now.. Irons can not love anyone else like he loved his mother. This made Kei remind him of his own mother. How she took all his love.. But He still have some left.. She didn't take it all..
" Thats so depressing Irons! Leaving a life... Alone!!" He gave Irons a small manly hug and whiped away the dried tears. "Your life.. Its.. Its so sad.. It makes me want to cry..." His voice trumbled.
But then.. He saw a chuckle from Irons a while ago.. Is his quest completed? No.. That was small.. He need a big one.. Bigger then his own chuckles.

"Oh Kei... sometimes I think you're too sweet for the warrior life of the Bones Pack," Irons shook his head a little, "Thank you for crying for me, and thank you for caring, but I've done all I've wanted to do in life. Now all I have left to do is stablize the pack, just like she wanted, and then I'll have everything I want. I don't want a mate. I don't want a girlfriend, or a boyfriend, I just want my pack. That's enough. That's all."
Yes, that was enough for him. That alone was what he had to live for. As long as he was Alpha, he didn't need anything or want anyone else.

Kei eyes grew small. " Sweet!? I'm not sweet... Am I?" He gulped. Maybe he was to sweet for the warrior life of the Bones Pack.. And never noticed it... But it is his nature... Sweet, funny, and handsome.. "WHAT!!?? You.. You don't want a mate!? You don't want little puppies calling you daddy!? Man.. I would die for a mate.. and children.." Kei exclaimed.
Okay.. Kei is sweet.. And now he is seeing that he is loving too... Thats something to add on the list.. Then... He wants to be a family man..
"Strange how Irons does not want a mate... But its his life... He may do as he pleases.." Kei thought to himself.

"Well, like it or not, I will need to have pups sooner or later," Irons sighed, clearly not entirely happy about that idea, "I don't want any mate, but sooner or later I'm going to have to pick someone to have pups with. I'm young yet. I don't even want to consider it right now though... but Szalka has been on about it." He shook his head, almost growling, "It's not like I'll make a good father. I never had one, and my mother was crazy. You'll be a good father." He nodded to Kei.
"Being sweet is good for something, I suppose. You are strong, of course Kei. I have total faith in your loyalty to the Bones Pack... we just don't see eye-to-eye on personal issues." Which was true as far as Irons was concerned. He would have to be a father sooner or later... it just wasn't something he was looking forward too.
Plus, once he became one it was only a matter of time before the pup he selected either killed him, or removed his position. No, something that was better put off.

Kei smiled and pats Irons back. "Irons.. You'll be a great father! I'm sure of it..! But Szalka.. Umm... I have nothing to say about... Heeeerr..." Kei said, putting more humph on her. "Well.." He paused and winked. "If you don't want any of your pups.. I'll be greatful to.. I don't know.. Take one out of your hands?" He laughs.
But Irons was right.. He had to get a mate.. So when he chooses the new Alpha.. Well.. He or she pretty much kill him.. Hopefully... They wouldn't do such.. "Loyal.. To this hellhole.. Haha.. I mean.. to this great place.." Kei didn't really like the Bones Pack that much.. He stayed because of poor Irons.. To make him happy.. Now.. He isn't regreating staying here..

"Come now Kei, the Bones Pack is just fine," Irons chuckled a little, "But would you honestly want the job of being my cub's nanny? That seems... well, you would make a better father than I would. Just as long as they still had a certain sense of loyalty to the Bones. Make no mistake, when the more powerful wolf comes forward, then I will greatfully give up my position," Irons' look darkened, "the pack must be strong forever more, so that all the efforts, the warm and our fallen comrads... so that none of it will be for nothing. They fought and died for us. I would have done the same for them."
Still, dying did not apeal to him in the slightest. Which just meant that he would have to stay strong in order to keep carrying the pride of the Bones Pack on his shoulders. It was nessesary, in every sense of the word.

Kei smiled and got some leaves and made it into a nanny dress. He grinned ear to ear. "Me? A nanny! Well.. That would be a great job! But I love my job of being a Jester... Unless.. I could be both? Comdien AND a Nanny! I can just see the little pups running around my ankles now.. And me.. Telling them jokes.." He laughed. "And you know what.." Kei paused and bangs Irons head with his paw. "Stop doubting yourself for not being a good father!! If you keep that up, you're not going to be a good one at all!!" Kei hissed.
"He...keeps...doubting... Gahhh!!" Kei thought to himself. He hates when wolves doubt.. They doubt they can get food tonight, they doubt that they can't have pups.. They doubt.. The list goes on..

Irons blinked and raised an eyebrow, "What power on this earth possessed you to think I would be a good father. I told you already, all I love is the pack, I don't have anything to spare for pups. If I were to raise them, I would raise a warrior loyal to the pack only. I don't have anything else to offer except my strength. I love only the pack. To believe otherwise is riddiculous. I think however... yes, you should be the nanny when I..." Irons rolled the next sentence in his mouth as though he were about to spit out something disgusting, "... find a suitable temporary mate, and have pups."
The very idea left him feeling disgusted. It left the bitter aftertaste of his own childhood.

Kei laughed with his nanny skirt on. "Well... Umm... Your... Okay.. I don't really know.. But I bet you'll be a great father!! And someone else can love the pack while you love your children.." He grinned. "And what do you mean by find a suitable temporary mate?" Kei wacks Irons on the head with a leaf.
Temporary mate... Kei thought a mate was someone that would be in your life FOREVER.. But to Irons... All he sees in a mate is temporary.. How sad was that...

"Like I said, all the love I have is for my pack. No one and nothing else. Pups and a mate...it would only be unfair to them. I would never ask someone to stay with me when I was incapable of loving them... and I would never put my own pups through what my mother put me through. I won't take that from anyone." Irons said, voice cold.
That was the end of that discussion.
