Agent Manketsu [.Hermes.] Although I agree that it is important to protect against those people who just want to be recognised, I disagree with this being a hidden guild. If it's hidden people can't even see that really. There should just be guidelines for the entry form on the home page and caution should be used when reading them. Yes but if it isn't a hidden guild then people can steal our theorys for their own.understood and pointed, but another thing, who says we DON'T WANT to be famous. Obviously our mission is not to be, but we all have it in our sigs, there isn't anything preventing from getting out there into the minds of other gaians. I mean, its possible...not a mission, but it can happen...

Wolfram Lee Ysud [.Hermes.] Then again, with vague (but at least a few) guidelines for the join applications we could also weed out people that don't deserve to join. If someone really has a good reason to join they'll be able to tell us.
I predict many "I missed the Zurg plot and I like X so I should join please. =D" applications. Hermes, if you were a mod and saw that in the "Join Requests" section, i would recommend you decline their application. That kind of reasoning is just bullshit. I know that that's bad. xD That's my prediction relating to the attention seekers. I should have stated that more clearly.

Speaking of which the Guild seems to be getting a few more members, if this keeps up we MAY need more mods.

Personally, If this becomes a popular group like the GiB. That's great, more power to us. And if this stays a small and hidden guild, still OK by my book.

If this sticky stays rather than being moved to the archives, I think it ought to be made into a guild improvement suggestion thread. But that's just a suggestion.

Speaking of which, my first suggestion is to change the name of the first subforum to "Authorized Personnel Only."
Not trying to be insulting. I just don't want us to look like we can't spell.
