Tobias's muzzle stretches out into a smile as he lets his paws drape over the ledge. "Perhaps mountains of adventures.... interesting creatures for us to meet." Tobias echoes his father whom have said the same thing to his family before they just vanished when Nicki and Tobias became adults. "For now... we just let things come to us.. we don't come to them anymore." His light blue eyes glances to Nicki.

She couldn't help but giggle at him. Her tail flicked hitting him on accident. Perhaps there were more Ulaya like them. More Ulaya that were cat like. That's who she wanted to be around. Of course, if there wasn't, that was fine as well. " Well, we should see what is out there soon." She said as a light whisper.

Tobias spots a young buck darting out of the cave and he instantly remembered that they haven't ate. His stomach growled in agreement to his silent thoughts which made Tobias stand up suddenly, he looks at Nicki with a gleam in his eye. "My sweet sister.. we haven't hunted together for while... would you do me a honor and hunt with me?" He purrs enticingly at her while his bulky tail flicks back and forth lazily.

Nicolieus wasn't much of a hunter, but she knew if he was going to hunt that deer that had just bounced by, she was going to half to help. She needed to practice a lot if she was going to live up to her gem.
"I guess, it wouldn't hurt. I'm a bit hungry myself." She said as she felt her belly rumble.She jump to her feet, but stood slowly up and looked about and yawned. "Though, maybe something smaller then that deer. "

Tobias was about to suddenly explode with speed but he suddenly stops when he hears his sister suggest something more smaller than the deer that ran out of the cave. He frowns to himself when he looked away from Nicki, he was evidently disappointed that she doesn't want to meet up to the challenge of the deer.
"Sure..." Tobias hesitantly says as he waves his front paw around slowly. "Do we wait here until something small like a rabbit.. or a bird come along or do we walk around?" He turns his head toward Nicki with a raised eyebrow.

She playfully rolled her eyes at him. "Lets go get us a deer." He looked very disappointed that she didn't want the deer. It wasn't going to be that bad... Is it? She flicked her tail and started hopping down the rocks. The deer probably wasn't that far away. They never ran for too long.

Tobias looks like Nicki just announced that it is a Christmas time in July because she finally agrees to hunt a creature he usually enjoys to hunt and bring down. The food will hopefully last them for a week if they keep it in the cold place like cavern in the mountains.
"Come on!!" Tobias exclaims as he suddenly ran down the side of the 'mountain' in hot pursuit of the deer. His muscles and tail works in perfect unison, moving in same direction while his tail acts like a rudder. When the deer went to left, his tail spun like a rudder and caused him to turn suddenly to continue the chase.

She rolled her eyes, but followed him as quietly as she could. Of course this wasn't going to be very fun for her. She swished her tail lightly as she turned to follow him. Her ears pinned back to get more speed to actually keep up with her brother.

Tobias continues to run after the deer and he suddenly leaps, tripping the deer to the ground. He suddenly dove for the deer's throat and holds the strangulation hold on the deer. The deer flailed and kicked around before it stays motionless.
Tobias' ears is pinned back as he glances to see Nicki approaching. "If you don't want to hunt.. just say so and I would have hunted on my own." He mutters, looking quite disappointed but he licks the puncture holes in the deer's throat and he places his paw on the neck. "Well.. dig in, I guess.."

She rolled her eyes and flicked her tail as she came to a slow walk. "You know how I am when hunting. I suck." She said with a smirk. "I shouldn't even have this stupid gem color." She shook her head to get her hair to hide her gem. She needed lots of practice. No pack would accept her as a hunter.
She didn't say anything else as she slowly walked up to the dead buck. It wasn't as big as she thought it was. Just a white tailed buck. She yawned and flicked her tail again. At least she thought these ones tasted the best. She find a nice spot on the dear. The hind leg near the butt. The best meat. Or at least she thought so.
She took her claw and scratched at the skin to make it easier for her to take the skin off. Blood dripped down the side of the dead dear after she made claw marks into it. Quickly after, she started ripping the skin off. One paw to hold down the part of the Buck, and her teeth pulling up as hard as possible each time, and then spitting out the bits of fur and skin. The parts she didn't like.
Finally, she got to the better part. The meat. Which wasn't easy to get either. It was about as hard as the skin to tear and eat. Though, that didn't stop her. She dug her teeth deep into the dead Bucks muscle and started gnawing at the meat. Blood got on her brownish white fur, but she didn't seem to take mind to it. It would be easy to clean her face later.

Tobias glances at his sister with a wry smile on his face. "Well our parents thinks you will be a very good hunter, you just need some practice and some more speed." He says the last part of the sentence with a teasing tone. He loves to tease his sister sometimes about that kind of thing as he settles down next to her. Its not condience that they like similar kind of meat but he likes the one that is right behind the hind leg.
Idly scrapping his claws at the spot he intends to rip apart with his claws and mouth, Tobias takes the fur and skin away then he began to lick the spot to get the left over of the fur off the skin. While he was doing that, he was purring like a kitten and he finally deemed the spot satisfactory so he sank his fangs in the body. Ripping the skin off, Tobias drops the skin to the ground while his paws and muzzle becomes smeared with the blood of the dead buck. His muzzle is almost completely buried inside the buck's body, his teeth gnawing away at the hard but tender meat.

She said nothing as she stuffed her face with the luscious meat. She didn't eat like a lady at all. When she was done she laid down next to her brother and started cleaning her face and paws. Two licks, then wiping her face, two licks again, and so on. It was going to be a some what long process. But it was best to do it now instead of waiting until it was dry.

Tobias took his time stubbing his face with the meat and he filled his stomach 5 minutes after Nicki did. He looks at Nicki with his bloodied muzzle stretched out in a content smile before he sits on his hunches then proceeds in cleaning his face with his paw. He clenches his claws inwards while cleaning the claws out then he will rub his face then repeat the process.
