Foetus In Fetu To be fair on Clark... the evidence was stacked against her. true but if he did more research with cgloe to lead it to that sand guy she also would have been dead

OMG i hated Alicia. i thought her Character was REALLY annoying. Def. Not one of my favorites.

Point is, is that it wasn't her. But that is not what this thread is about. I really just wish there would have been more on this character I really thought she was interesting in the few episodes we saw her in.

Point is, is that it wasn't her. But that is not what this thread is about. I really just wish there would have been more on this character I really thought she was interesting in the few episodes we saw her in.Well, those two facts points to her and not the sand man. At first, Clark even had faith in her. It wasn't untill he found out she didn't have her braclet on that he stoped believing her. I will watch the episode again. The debate we are having is about both of them and I don't see why it's not a viable topic.

He might have been more trusting. But given Alicia's track record, I don't blame him for suspecting her -- and when she said it wasn't her, he just wanted her to go to the sherrif to get the whole thing sorted out and present her side of the story.

In the comics and TAS, yes, he's somewhat like a polygraph. He can listen to a person's heartbeat and I think he can also see if they're perspiring.
But this Clark is a tool. How many times have people snuck up on him? Besides, those are only indicators of whether someone's lying or not, not a surefire thing.
