Heres what I've found in my tests with this:
The AK has an accurate FIRST shot, then it's pretty much spray and pray.
The AK has incredibly inaccurate shots after the first.
If you are a good head-shotter, this gun is for you.
The M4 has accurate shots all around.
The M4's damage is decently high with body shots, and, again, headshots are optimal.
If you are better at body shots, this gun is for you.
That's my personal findings, though, so of course it varies for the person.

But learning how to do that can be difficult. The M4 has slightly greater power without it's silencer, but with it, it has better spray than the M4. The M4 (without silence) has about the same power as the AK and about the same accuracy if you know how to use both the same, but the M4 has a silencer which can really give you a boost for stealthy attacks. But the AK has a better accuracy at longer ranges.

I prefer AK. When I use M4 it's in Deathmatch, and when I'm in deathmatch its a pain to attatch the silencer without getting pwned. AK is better for getting headshots for me anyway, I love crouch/headshotting ... It's so damn easy with the thing. It just feels like the crosshair "cooldown" to its smallest size is a lot shorter with the AK while the M4's seems to continue to be totally spread out for a bit longer D:
But yeah.
AK47 for me.

Ak47, for sure! It's got a great first 1 shot lol. You just gotta fire the first one good and they die. It's that easy... Spraying doesn't work good unless you're like running down some stairs at the guy lol.

I choose an AK over M4 any day. AK is way better then the M4. You just need to know how to use it. Spraying is relatively easy if you push down on the kick-back.

I play as T but I prefer the M4 with the silencer most of the time. Although the AK is very powerful and extremely accurate when you use single shots. When I want to snipe people but not use a sniper I'll use the AK to do that.
