"Really?" Now it was Guilian's turn to be surprised; the last few mares he'd met out that way had been winds, after all. Perhaps they only came out at certain times then, or something...
"That is certainly mysterious. Perhaps it is all in the timing, then, because I know that there are other winds out there. There are also other types, naturally, but I'd say I've seen more winds than anything else."
Looking from his father to his friend, Antony made a wry face and ran the spiked edge of a wing through his hair, pulling at the tangles and expressing chagrin all at once. "So basically...everyone's everywhere?"

"If everyone just lives everywhere ..... that's no fun." It also didn't make all that much sense but it seemed to be the case at least for those like him and those with fluffy wings.
He was starting to wonder something though. "Tony ... your mom? She's not normal right? What about her kind?" He looked back at Guillian directing the last question at him. If she was suppose to be something odd then he would hazard a guess that it was very strange for her kind to be out this far. After all hadn't Tony said something about people getting onto him for his wings?

At Dodger's question, Guilian snorted, though he turned his head away from the boys as he did so. Aye, Izusa was far from 'normal,' though not always in a bad way. She was quite the passionate one, that mare...she didn't give herself enough credit. Too bad she was possessive and homicidal, otherwise...
Ignoring his father, Antony gave his friend a shrug. "Technically, there aren't really that many kalona in this region; my mother was a little out of it though, which is why she ended up out here. They're a pretty nasty bunch as a rule, apparently, which is why I've had so much trouble." Something that he'd come to accept, but still kinda sucked.
"Aye, the kalonas as a rule are most vicious. They tend to have little affection and even less respect for those that arent' kalona, and have few qualms using their hooves and teeth on those that upset them. They can be downright deadly in fact, which is likely why so many foals are warned against them. It's a sad predjudice, true...but the vast majority of the breed is cruel." As Guilian had well come to learn.

"Well then everyone can't just live everywhere. If Kalona are like that then they'd most likely live somewhere that didn't involve us." us being the non Kalona species. Maybe it was more that there were a few races that did not live 'everywhere' but most did?
That could explain things a little more logically when you thought about it. Yes that made sense. Kalona lived somewhere mostly alone, those like him and those with wings lived just around, and if there were more then they probably hid somewhere too.

Well, one thing at least was certain; they'd gotten some good exercise out of this whole quest for information. As far as useful information went, though, it was pretty much a bust. At best, Antony figured that they'd gotten a good bit of postulating from both Remy and Guilian, but otherwise...
Glancing over at Dodger, Antony shrugged his shoulders, then grinned evilly. "Well Dodger...are you ready to head back?"
