Eicca didn’t like any type of teapot over bubbling, neither the physical or proverbial kind, and he was quite freaked out by Kalandra’s reaction. One might find this strange considering he hung around the cheerful Aki most of the time, but her overly happy self was slightly different from Kalandra’s, and he had grown quite used to it. In fact, it made him rather embarrassed, and he hid his face in his doll’s hair, unable to come up with an answer.
But luckily for him—or perhaps unluckily—Aki was there to offer an answer, and answer she did: “We have nothing scheduled on Saturday. Anytime that day would be fine.” If Eicca had not been so out of it right now, he would have been either gawking confusedly or glaring angrily, or maybe even both at once. “We can meet there.”
“Hey,” finally Eicca muffled out a reply, but not so before he ended up getting the doll’s hair in his mouth, and he had to pull away from its head and spit awkwardly. “We can’t bother Sasha for a ride,” he mumbled pathetically, turning his head downward toward his doll. It seems as if the next words should have been ‘he’ll make fun of me,’ but these words never came. Instead, he just stood there uneasily as Aki beamed.

"It's no bother, I can come pick you up if you have trouble getting a ride," Kalandra answered Eicca's protest first. She was really enjoying watching Eicca's reaction, and that only made her seem all the more excited about this venture. Fantastic! She would get a two for one deal on being a nuisance. "Arriving around 11:30 in the morning might be a good idea. That's early enough that there won't be a lot of people there, but not too early. Does that sound good to you?"

“If you don’t mind…” Eicca mumbled, eyes darting toward Aki to make sure she didn’t try to butt in and answer for him. If Aki had her way, she would once again turn down the offer of a ride. One was never to inconvenience the customer in any way, and Aki seemed to maintain the ideals of her shopkeeper training even in social situations.
He could not, however, beat her to the next question, which she answered just as enthusiastically as Kalandra had spoke. “11:30 is fine.” And this of course received a slight glare from Eicca, even a twitch. “We are morning people.”
It seemed that Eicca wanted to retort that statement, possibly with something along the lines of ‘being a morning person and staying up all night into the morning are not the same thing,’ but he managed to keep himself quiet, burrowing his face into his dolls hair once more. Glaring didn’t really get one a good first impression, and he would rather hide these negative feelings at the moment. He could just talk to Sasha about them later.

"Wonderful! I'll pick you up sometime around 11 then? I'm so looking forward to it. I'd love to stay and talk, but my brother's going to be upset if I don't pick him up soon. I'm already late." And knowing Leran, he'd begin walking even in the rain. "Have a good evening then and see you Saturday!"

“That sounds great,” Aki said cheerfully, all too happy to accept the time. She sat for a moment, as if it took her brain a moment to switch over to second point in Kalandra's words. “Goodbye, and have a nice day,” the shopkeeper finally replied, almost mechanically, waving energetically along with the same warm smile as before, giving some life to the shop filled with lifeless, porcelain beings. If one could call eternal happiness really living, that is.
If Eicca had the free hands for it, his face would probably be in them as he moaned to himself about his current situation. Instead he slipped out through the back door, grumbling quietly to himself. This was way too much human interaction for one day.
