Ayudar leans over, and calls out "If you get the damn thing drunk, you have to keep her from harassing everyone on the crew. If she goes for my hair while drunk, I'll be less then warm and cuddly about it." He leans back, amused, elsewise, about this venture.

Macy turned his gaze to the first mate, he still held a little annoyance towards the crew for dumping him back in court when Caspian had been arrested. He sighed, his body pooling with dread as a thought struck him, according to one of those Underground Doctors Jareth had hired, he was due at the end of the month. He was excited, yet scared at the same time.

His gaze slid over to the Bo'Sun and the Doctor, were they really going to feed Zaelia rum?? she was worse when drunk. He sighed, running a hand past his horns and through his blood red hair, moving to fiddle with the black tips of his hair. A hand fell down to his stomach, before he turned his gaze back inland, to the Labyrinth, his home until now.

"Now surely you don't think I haven't planned that far, sir?"

Raguel smiled up at the First Mate, his back towards him. On the back of his belt was a small cloth and a bit of rope. A blindfold and something to tie her up with. It might work, it might not. The bird was unpredictable so Raguel just considered every chance. Also in truth he didn't want to use up their stores of food on the bird more than they had to. They were broke and couldn't afford a fat bird unless it meant good eating later.

Ayudar arches a brow. "Keep in mind the Captain will be most displeased if his pet gets hurt as well... And she's a wild behavin' beast, and may hurt you in the attempt...." He strides down to were the other two were, and looked up at Zaelia, then at Raguel. "And so I'd be veryyyyyyy careful."

"I'm not afraid of a little pain, sir. And I will be careful. But if you have a better idea than mine, I'd like to hear it. The surgeon needs to return to his duties and we've got to get that bird down. I've yet to see the bird respond nonviolently to any attempt of being touched."

The one eyed Bo'sun looks to the First Mate.

"Personally... I'd wait til the Captain hisself comes to deal with things. If anyone can handle his pet at all, twould be him, I would think... if only in the matter of coaxing the damnable beast out of the nest." Ayudar stands, gazing up.

Raguel looked to Keita, "Well, the decision is yours. Do you want to wait for the Captain to help you or try and get her down right now?" He crossed his arms and waited.

Whilst the two men had been conversing over what exactly the best course of action would be, Keita had lost himself in his own thoughts on the matter. Whilst the notion of getting Zaelia drunk was highly amusing, he could not help but shake the fact that, in truth, the flamingo would be much more difficult to handle in her drunken state. Not to mention he had nothing he could use to remedy any form of hangover the vibrant creature would receive afterwards, as most of the men aboard the ship were so accustomed to the feeling that they had simply learned to deal with it. No, if anything he would like to avoid that scenario completely.

Ayudar’s suggestion to wait for the captain, whilst more sensible than the previous one, also proved to have a rather undesirable outcome. Caspian was a busy man, and probably would not be very happy to be called away from whatever he had been doing in order to aid Keita in a matter he should be able to do himself. The fact that he had even requested the help of Raguel was shameful enough; he did not need to include the captain in such a trivial matter. It was a reluctant decision, but in the end, Keita decided against requesting the captain’s assistance, if not for the sake of the captains already filled schedule, but for his own small sense of pride.

That left him with two options, to go with the plan of bribing Zaelia out of her nest with food, or to climb up there and force the bird to comply. Whilst he dreaded the notion of climbing the mast to face off with the rather temperamental bird at the top, it seemed that in all honesty, it would be best choice. He had already pulled the others away from their own jobs long enough for this, keeping them further would just result in problems. “I’ll climb up there an do it myself.” He said, not only to respond to the Bo-sun’s question, but to push himself to do the task. He repeated the sentence, a little softer, and more to himself, as he once again readied his small satchel of medical goods, before walking over to stand before the mast.

There was no ladder, but instead a series of metal bars that jutted out from the masts base. They were spaced about a good four or five inches apart, and were large and sturdy enough to hold a persons weight. They did not seem to be rusted, at least not the ones located on the bottom, though it was hard for Keita to say whether or not the ones on the top were in the same shape. Placing his hand upon one of the bars, he gave it a firm tug, testing how securely it was fastened onto the wood. When the bar didn’t budge after the third or so tug, he deemed it safe enough to carry on. Placing one foot on top of a bar situated about a foot or so off the ground, and his left hand on the bar farthest he could reach, he lifted himself up, placing the foot the had previously been resting on the ground on a bar situated about two or so up from the bar his other foot stood upon.

For a moment, he just rested there, checking with his single free hand to see if the satchel was still firmly secured around his waist, and that none of the continents had fallen out, before continuing. To any onlooker, Keita would have seemed very calm about this, what with the way he calmly made his ascent, but inside the blonde medic was terrified. It wasn’t until he reached the top that he realized how quickly he had made his progress. Turning to look at Zaelia, he gave her a small smile. “Time for your check up okay?”

Raguel nodded to the surgeon and went below to return the rum and rope to their proper places. When he got back Keita was finally making his way up the mast. He stayed underneth to watch, or to catch if the bird got to frisky. He could see the fear in Keita's eyes so he merely decided to wait, to see if he was needed.

(( Sorry that I'm just jumping in now, guys! >< ))

Daron drew a mop across the deck, yawning. His job as a deckhand was really a rather boring one and he wasn't about to decide otherwise on the subject. He drew a rough sigh and allowed the mop to lean on one of the railings of the lovely ship - really, it was an honor or whatever to clean it up and all, but cleaning wasn't what Daron had in mind for his whole future. He planned to work his way up in the world, and if he kept on he felt his plan was sure to be effective.

"Nnn.." The deckhand leaned back on the rail comfortably; he couldn't wait to sail away. The ocean was really the one thing he lived for. Therefore being on a pirate ship - not to mention one such as this - was perfect for him. He smiled idly for a moment, twirling a strand of his blonde hair with one of his calloused and slender fingers - he really couldn't wait to get out into the open sea tomorrow.

((*happily jumps in at last*))

The pilot leant back, happily observing all that was ocouring before him on the deck, the usual mug of something in his hand, looking like he had been there all the time. Truth be told he had been quite happily running amock elsewhere, and had only recently returned to the ship, his good friend in tow as always, though Bayne was nowhere to be found at the current time. He grinned, kicking his foot up and lazily crossing it over the other infront of him. Ah yes, life was good at port..

Macy was feeling less than exstatic right now, true he was due to go back out to sea with Caspian and the crew but...his current physical state just made him feel awful, especially as he knew he was overdue, knowing you could go into labour at anytime was not a nice thought really. It honestly scared the hell out of the huaghty Unigon.

He looked up from where he was stood a few feet away from the Pilot, then turned to watch said Pilot. He seemed very happy about somethign really and Macy found himself sour at the thought that the other could kcik his feet up, Macy couldn't right now.

Zubarai was quite unaware that he had become an object of distaste for the moment, and continued his own small task of evading work, and drinking for the time being. He continued taking small sips as opposed to large gulps of the rather colourful contents of the mug until he had emptied the thing. Only then did he truely have a good look around again. Brushing the hair from his eyes he discovere.. The captains fiance giving him one of the most disdainful looks he could muster. He couldn't help double-taking at that, making a show of rubbing his eyes before sliding along the rail towards the unigon. "Macy.. Is there something the matter..?"

Macy continued to watch the Pilot, not noticing his face had twisted into a glare of sorts as he thought things over. Whne Zuberai addresed him, he blinked, letting his face slacken as he realised he had just projected his disdain. Oh dear.

"nothing's the matter..." Macy answered haughtily, turning his gaze away a little. He still hadn't let go of the fact the crew had kicked hin off the ship. He scowled blackly again, now staring at a point just over Zuberai's left shoulder.
